The prison was exceptionally gloomy and dark, with only a few fire pans emitting light.

Qin Yuesheng walked in from the only passage, and imdiately a large number of arms stretched out from the cells nearby, struggling to grab his body.

But when the prison was initially built, this had already been considered, so there was no way for them to have enough distance to grab soone passing by.

"Save ! I’m innocent!"

"Lord! I’m innocent! Innocent!"

Qin Yuesheng swept past without showing any concern for anyone, heading straight to where the governnt officials were resting.

At this mont, several officials were chatting idly around a table, with a dish of peanuts and a side dish placed on the table.

"Stop chatting, quickly imprison the felon Lord Qin brought, put on the pipa bone ring, spine ring, whatever can be used, use them." The official who brought Qin Yuesheng in imdiately shouted.

At the command, those officials imdiately sprang into action, and when they saw the bald man, they couldn’t help but show surprised expressions.

This felon... doesn’t seem much like a human!

However, they didn’t ask much; so things are beyond what they, as small fry, can know. They just follow the instructions from above.

With nothing else to do, Qin Yuesheng strolled around the felon detention area.

Compared to the criminals outside, the felons here were much quieter, not even raising their heads to glance when soone walked past, seeming entirely dead and as if they had given up all hope.

Suddenly, Qin Yuesheng saw a sowhat familiar figure in one of the cells.

It was the person who attacked him with a bow and arrow on the street during the Blessing Festival night.

Li Tianle sat cross-legged in the corner, with the chains on his pipa bone clearly visible.

"It’s you; I didn’t expect you to be still alive," Qin Yuesheng remarked.

Upon hearing Qin Yuesheng’s voice, Li Tianle imdiately raised his head.

Over these days, he had beco much more haggard, with his face all covered in stubble and heavy dark circles.

"It’s you." Li Tianle hesitated for a mont, but eventually recognized Qin Yuesheng.

For so reason, he felt that this guy seed a bit different from the last ti he saw him, in terms of appearance and deanor, becoming more charismatic and dashing.

"You turned into this; if my master knew, he certainly wouldn’t let you off," Li Tianle said coldly.

Qin Yuesheng: "Who is your master?"

"Wang ng, the Fierce Dragon Who Crosses Rivers."

"Wang ng..." Qin Yuesheng pondered.

Oh! This rascal seems to be the Great Han who barged into the Qin Mansion and demolished Qin Yuesheng’s house earlier.

Thinking this, Qin Yuesheng laughed: "His Great Vajra Palm is quite nice, suitable for , but the rest is just average."

Li Tianle’s face instantly changed; the Great Vajra Palm is Wang ng’s trump card that generally no one knows. Wang ng must have crossed paths with Qin Yuesheng and was forced to use the Great Vajra Palm for Qin Yuesheng to know it.

Yet Qin Yuesheng stands here just fine, which ans...

"Impossible! My master is at Outer Forging Perfection, one step away from becoming an Inner Power Realm expert; how could he lose to you!"

Seeing Li Tianle’s face full of shock and disbelief, Qin Yuesheng smiled without saying anything, and walked away.

Li Tianle quickly got up and shouted: "Co back! Co back here! What happened to my master?!"

No one responded.

...

Cyan Yang City, a deserted courtyard.

Several figures leaped into the courtyard from all directions, finally standing in a circle in the garden.

"Why hasn’t old fourth arrived? Usually, he’s always the fastest to co," a hunched half-human monster with a frog-like head asked.

"Don’t know." Another man with a black bone cone growing from his buttocks shook his head.

"Forget it, let’s not worry about him. What about my previous proposal? We can’t find the place where the Great Ghost Venerables are sealed, waiting like this won’t do, using necessary ans in necessary tis seems best; I think spreading plague here is a brilliant idea."

"But over there, the gentleman... He doesn’t know about this, and he’s always prohibited us from causing major chaos."

"How long have we been following his orders without seeing the seal’s location? If you can wait, I can’t. Decide quickly, if you Five Calamities don’t cooperate, when the Great Ghost Venerables co forth, we Five Plagues might have the honor to welco ten Great Ghost Venerables."

The Ghost Race speaker wore a cloak, his arms fiery red, emitting visible red steam, and at his feet, the lush plants began wilting.

"You certainly have a big appetite, Fire Plague."

Suddenly, a mockingly voice ca from above, and they all looked up. Under the moonlight, Ouyang Haichen stood with arms crossed on the rooftop, eyes overlooking the crowd.

"Sir... sir..." Everyone was shocked, not expecting Ouyang Haichen to appear here.

anwhile, the last speaker, Huo Wen, instantly broke out in a cold sweat.

"Have you considered what consequences an outbreak of plague might cause? The human race isn’t without masters." A green light shone in Ouyang Haichen’s eyes, and the eye at the center of his forehead glowed as brightly as a Luminous Pearl: "Huo Wen, it seems that you’ve been dissatisfied with for quite a while now."

"Sir, I’m just tired of waiting. As long as we spread a plague and control the humans here to dig three feet into the ground for us, we won’t have any trouble finding the seal."

Facing Ouyang Haichen’s three-eyed gaze, Huo Wen responded without fear.

"No way." Ouyang Haichen’s voice was cold: "Without my permission, you should just hide quietly in Cyan Yang City; there’s no need for you to do anything else."

Wu Wen said angrily, "Why should we follow your arrangents? This ti, the Great Ghost Venerable’s presence leaked, everyone here ca on their own accord, what does it have to do with you?"

Ouyang Haichen: "Because I’ve been rooted here for over a decade, and you’ve intruded into my territory, so naturally you must be under my control."

Suddenly, Huo Wen erupted, and the cloak on his body spontaneously combusted in the night. He waved his two palms, and two fiery red ripples imdiately shot toward Ouyang Haichen.

The surrounding Ghost Race mbers all changed their expressions, not expecting Huo Wen to actually dare to lay hands on Ouyang Haichen.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, everything that entered near Ouyang Haichen slowed down, as if ti had been slowed down several tis. Even if it were an ordinary person, they could easily dodge the ripple’s attack.

"With just you, you want to be my enemy." Ouyang Haichen’s eye at the center of his forehead emitted an eerie light; it was obvious the current situation was related to that eye.

In the public gaze, Ouyang Haichen directly waved his hand, and all the ripples seed to enter a vortex, gathering into a fiery red orb in his hand.

"Since you refuse to obey control, there’s no need for you to exist in Cyan Yang City anymore." Ouyang Haichen directly grabbed the fireball and leaped toward Huo Wen, his speed as fast as a torrent, arriving in front of Huo Wen in the blink of an eye.

Boom!

Huo Wen raised his arms, colliding heavily with the fireball that Ouyang Haichen held, causing his arms to erupt with nurous blisters that promptly burst, splattering copious amounts of blood.

"Don’t push !" Huo Wen looked at Ouyang Haichen with eyes that were blood-red.

His body swelled quickly, like a balloon being rapidly inflated.

A few nearby Ghost Race mbers exclaid in shock, "Huo Wen, you’ve gone mad!"

Ouyang Haichen’s gaze turned cold, and his long tongue instantly pierced out from his mouth, stabbing into the opponent’s body.

Large amounts of boiling blood were sucked into Ouyang Haichen’s mouth as if through a straw; his tongue was hollow!

Huo Wen’s body couldn’t expand to the limit before Ouyang Haichen restrained his swelling.

anwhile, a layer of purple liquid from Ouyang Haichen’s tongue seeped into Huo Wen’s body, causing it to change from red to purple, paralyzing his entire body.

"You!" Huo Wen was horrified.

Whoosh!

The next mont, the tip of Ouyang Haichen’s tongue had already pierced through Huo Wen’s skull, destroying his brain.

The scene went dead silent.

They could only watch helplessly as Huo Wen’s body was consud chunk by chunk into Ouyang Haichen’s stomach.

"Rember, this is my territory; without my permission, none of you can cause havoc here, or I will kill you even faster than the masters of the human race. As long as you obey and welco the Great Ghost Venerable, we all stand to gain."

Ouyang Haichen’s three eyes eerily scanned the surrounding Ghost Race.

"Yes, the sir is right, I will definitely obey the sir’s commands."

" too, too."

Under Ouyang Haichen’s deterrence, the groups nodded in agreent.

Retracting his long tongue, Ouyang Haichen left the courtyard without a word, leaving behind a silent group of Ghost Race mbers.

...

Under Qin Yuesheng’s instructions to inform the Cheng family, Zuo Zonghao quickly returned with two Wood Toad officials.

Capturing a Ghost Race mber ant they could possibly extract information about the whereabouts of other Ghost Race mbers, which could be a major breakthrough.

"Where is the Ghost Race mber?" Zuo Zonghao directly asked upon entering the main hall.

Qin Yuesheng was drinking water and imdiately got up: "He has already been detained in the cell, and the lord can interrogate him at any ti. However, when I fought with him before, he didn’t speak human language."

"You did well this ti." Zuo Zonghao nodded and then headed towards the prison area.

With Zuo Zonghao taking over, naturally Qin Yuesheng had nothing left to do there, so he decided not to linger in the governnt office and planned to return to the Qin Mansion.

Just as he reached the entrance, he saw several Daoists negotiating with the gatekeeping officials.

One of them Qin Yuesheng recognized; it was Daoist Qingfeng, whom Qin Feng had invited to be a guest at his ho, and from whom he had obtained a copy of "Cultivation of Yuan Power."
