The giant serpent crashed headlong into the city wall of the fortress.

In an instant, the wooden city gate, more than two feet thick, bent as a whole and broke, completely unable to bear the weight.

The giant serpent shook its head left and right, scattering the wooden splinters, then charged again.

This ti, the gate could finally hold no longer; the entire section collapsed with a roar, allowing the giant serpent to crawl in effortlessly along the ruins.

A foul wind whipped up, sand and stones flying everywhere.

Up close, it could be seen that the serpent’s head had two large fleshy lumps, and there were more beneath its belly—its bizarre appearance was nauseating to behold.

Fortunately, most of the bandits near the city gate had already fled in advance, otherwise, quite a few would have fallen prey to the serpent’s gaping maw.

Qin Yuesheng landed back on the ground, stepped into his residence, and went to the smithy to pull out the Celestial Fire Divine Blade he’d plunged into the earth.

This blade seed as if it possessed an eternal fire, its flas perpetually blazing, never showing any sign of extinguishing.

As Qin Yuesheng protected his palm with Inner Strength and drew out the Celestial Fire Divine Blade, all the raging flas instantly withdrew into the blade’s body. This concealed its true nature, and anyone who saw the saber in Qin Yuesheng’s hand now would never guess at the incredible heat hidden within.

Whoosh!

Sanhuang and Du Xiaoqing, standing outside the residence, saw a figure flash by before their eyes; Qin Yuesheng vanished from their sight in an instant. The two sighed inwardly—Qin Yuesheng’s strength had reached a realm beyond their wildest imagination.

After the giant serpent slithered into the fortress, every house in its path was reduced to rubble, collapsing in turn—these wooden structures could not withstand the brute force of the serpent’s body.

The bandits fled again and again, falling back and running for their lives.

None of them were n of great martial might, so there was no way they’d risk their lives to fight such a monster at this critical mont.

Just then, a crimson light flashed across the sky like a falling teor. A man swung his blade in a mighty slash; scarlet light exploded from the saber in his hand, savagely and fiercely cleaving into the giant serpent’s body.

It was Qin Yuesheng, arriving with the Celestial Fire Divine Blade in hand.

In the span of a single heartbeat, the saber erupted in blazing red flas, burning fiercely at the wound slashed open on the serpent’s flesh.

"Hiss!" The giant serpent screeched in pain, violently twisting and coiling its body, intent on crushing the tiny bug who’d wounded it.

But Qin Yuesheng reacted faster. While he stabbed the Celestial Fire Divine Blade into the serpent’s body, he darted swiftly elsewhere.

The Celestial Fire Divine Blade was incomparably sharp and blazed with wild flas. As Qin Yuesheng raced along the serpent’s body, sparks and fire trailed in his wake, burning the serpent ever more fiercely, driving it further into a frenzy.

With the serpent thrashing and rolling, the ground shook and trembled. Suddenly, the world dimd around Qin Yuesheng; looking up, he saw the serpent’s great head looming above him, maw opening wide to strike down upon him.

Qin Yuesheng showed no fear. Instantly, he struck upward with a reverse slash; flas rose like a crescent moon, surging straight toward the serpent’s open jaws.

Unable to withstand the heat, the serpent quickly drew back its tongue, then with a forceful bulge of its jaw, spewed out a billowing mist of icy blue vapor.

The mist was formidable indeed. The mont it left the serpent’s mouth, it condensed into ice, transforming into a massive block that crashed into the flas unleashed by the Celestial Fire Divine Blade.

Hiss hiss hiss!

Fire and ice collided, creating a spectacular uproar.

The ice block could not withstand the searing flas. Thick mist filled the air as the fire burned a giant pit clear through the ice.

Though the ice montarily impeded it, the raging fla lost much of its residual heat. Seeing this, the serpent intensified its onslaught, spewing more icy mist to envelop Qin Yuesheng.

In a heartbeat, the surrounding temperature plumted, and even the wild grass on the ground beca coated in frost.

"This serpent is no ordinary creature. To wield such supernatural ans, it must have lingered in teor Mountain preying on humans for too long, absorbing the sun’s essence and moonlight to develop intelligence and transform into a demonic entity." Qin Yuesheng frowned and swept out the Celestial Fire Divine Blade, instantly summoning the shadows of mountains to clash headlong into the serpent.

It was the Seven Great Limits of Heaven and Earth: Mountain-Crushing!

Ever since the Celestial Demon Evil Blade was destroyed by the ox-headed underworld soldier, Qin Yuesheng had not used this Divine Skill Saber Skill for so ti.

The shadows of mountains collided with the icy mist, shattering it in an instant. The steady saber force locked onto the serpent’s head, and with unstoppable montum, crashed down upon its face.

Boom!!!

The serpent’s enormous head exploded in a spray of gore; as its body crashed to the ground, it beca nothing more than a headless carcass, its skull pulverized by Qin Yuesheng’s blade.

At the instant the serpent’s corpse hit the earth, a torrent of freezing current spilled from within. Wherever the frost flowed, the ground froze solid inches deep, wild grass and stones alike instantly encased in ice.

Seeing the frost flow surging toward him, Qin Yuesheng plunged the Celestial Fire Divine Blade into the ground, relying on its heat to lt the encroaching tide of ice.

At once, an extraordinary scene unfolded before him.

In this realm of frozen earth, the Celestial Fire Divine Blade, lodged in the ground by Qin Yuesheng, parted the oncoming sheets of ice like Moses splitting the sea, splitting the glacial current neatly in two and preventing it from advancing a single inch closer to Qin Yuesheng’s position.
