In the sky over a hundred ters high, a purple vortex more than ten ters in diater appeared out of nowhere, emitting a purple glow that enveloped the entire street, creating an eerie scene resembling a purple hell.

In the residential buildings on both sides of the six-lane road, so residents who chose not to evacuate stared fearfully at the swirling vortex in the sky, feeling at a loss.

For unknown and bizarre phenona, the biological instinct is to feel uneasy and panicked.

Fortunately, these people rembered the official notices of the past few days to stay indoors, and they didn’t flee in terror.

Whoosh! Under the cover of night, a black figure flashed by; in the blink of an eye, Jiang Hou had crossed a distance of over a hundred ters and descended from the sky, landing softly with a gust of light wind around him.

Instantly, the tal combat boots, which had jumped with such speed and impact that they could shatter concrete, touched down lightly.

"Is this the entrance to the ruins?" Jiang Hou looked at the vortex suspended over a hundred ters above the ground outside the skyscraper, his figure flickered, and he dashed into the vortex, disappearing from sight.

At the mont he rushed into the vortex, Jiang Hou felt as though he had passed through an invisible water surface and, in a flash, appeared in a passage that was a hundred ters wide and high, and over three hundred ters long.

Outside the passage was a verdant forest, with ancient towering trees standing several hundred ters tall, their branches and leaves lush, and below them shrubs were in abundance.

Even though the sky outside remained dark and oppressive, with a faint black mist perating the air, it still gave off a sense of vibrant life, completely different from the Twisted Forest.

anwhile, behind Jiang Hou was a gray mountain wall, with a transparent vortex over twenty ters in diater "inlaid" into it.

The vortex was like a bright mirror, clearly reflecting more than half of Yidu City’s landscape, as if viewed from two or three kiloters in the sky, with its dazzling lights and shimring neon.

Jiang Hou could even see a black-haired girl standing on the rooftop of a skyscraper and the several purple vortices scattered kiloters around the old city district.

So of these entrances were above the rooftops of buildings, while others hovered a hundred ters above the ground on the streets.

Besides, he also saw Divine Palace Feiyue, and a youth in his thirties, several kiloters apart, guarding the sides of ten vortex entrances, one on the left and the other on the right.

"How strange, the vortex I entered was only a hundred ters above the ground, so why is the vantage point so high from here? Could it be a different dinsion? Or has space folded?"

But before Jiang Hou could ponder this question, his keen ears heard movent from the bushes outside the passage.

Crash!! The more than ten-ter tall shrubs fell to both sides as a beast more than ten ters long appeared.

This beast resembled a gray bear, its body covered with hair, and its four claws were huge, with two three-ter-long tusks growing upward from its mouth, emitting the aura of a Tier Three Peak.

Compared to the savage and bloodthirsty ferocious beasts with only a slaughter instinct, the beast had a bit more ’spiritual intelligence’, and in the face of powerful creatures, it felt fear and terror.

For instance, this gray bear-like beast stood still after appearing, its eyes showing hesitation as it looked at the figure standing with a blade deep inside the passage.

Although Jiang Hou’s figure was ’small’ and his aura restrained, the gray bear-like beast instinctively sensed a certain danger from him.

Yet, a beast is still a beast; feeling the strong pull from the transparent vortex behind Jiang Hou, the gray bear-like beast’s blood simred, compelling it to emit an irritable roar.

Roar!

The gray bear-like beast roared, its internal energy erupted forming a layer of earth-yellow crystalline substance over its head and shoulders, then its massive body charged into the passage like a heavy-duty truck, shaking the ground.

This beast clearly intended to rely on its imnse body and defense, ignoring attacks and directly rushing into the passage.

At the mont the gray bear-like beast entered the passage, Jiang Hou’s gaze turned cold, his figure slightly sank, and in an instant, the rocks beneath his feet shattered, his form transford into a black-and-white afterimage shooting forward.

Boom!

The air above Jiang Hou’s long blade surged with energy, a five-ter long black knife light tore through space, leaving a hundred-ter long dissipating black trace in the air.

In a split second, man and beast passed each other in the middle of the passage.

With the Yama Prison Demon Blade imbued with the power of the black blade light, it precisely cut into the energy node, tearing, and ripped through the earth-yellow crystalline substance on the beast’s body, from the front chest along the left side of the abdon, creating a huge wound over ten ters long and nearly two ters deep.

Roar!

The gray bear-like beast let out a piercing scream, and its massive body, propelled by inertia, crashed to the ground dozens of ters away with a boom, as crimson blood gushed from the abdon like a flood.

The strong vitality allowed the gutted gray bear to survive montarily, struggling madly before gradually dying, its eyes wide open, looking at the figure standing with a blade, surrounded by arcs of black lightning, exuding intense unwillingness and resentnt.

The formidable physical strength, the sharpness and power augntation of the Divine Weapon, and the defensive capability of the Tier Three Peak beast were no match for even one slash from Jiang Hou.

Even with only an Early-tier Four level on the side of the Divine Weapon.

Shush! Strands of black Demonic Energy gathered over the body of the beast, transforming into a black snake that rged into Jiang Hou’s body, instantly extending a new line from the Demon Pattern on his left shoulder.

At the sa ti, Jiang Hou’s total Demon Essence increased by 5 points.

And at this mont, outside the cave, the sound of creatures moving in the forest was heard again, the underbrush swayed, and another beast appeared.

This beast, though not very large, only had a body over six ters long, with a shoulder height of about three ters, covered with black hair like steel needles, resembling a giant boar.

However, unlike a boar, this beast had four saber-tooth-like tusks and claws, its body muscles explosively radiating the aura of a Tier Two.
