The tentacle lashed through the Void, shattering it. Two of the slower experts were struck, letting out shrill screams. They were gravely injured and nearly killed, but thankfully, they activated their life-saving treasures at the last second and managed to escape.
In truth, this was only because the Fengdu Deceitful King had no real intention of killing them. If he had truly wanted them dead, escape would have been impossible.
"We respectfully send off the Deceitful King!"
Thousand Maidens’ Consort watched as the massive tentacle withdrew into the spaceti vortex and vanished from sight, her expression a mask of complexity.

Xu Qing looked up toward Cangzhou Prefecture. A towering city gate ca into view, and upon closer inspection, he saw that the prefecture was built between two mountain ranges.
These two mountain ranges were incredibly majestic, stretching unbroken for over ten thousand kiloters.
The range to the east of Cangzhou Prefecture was called the East Cang Mountain Range, while the majestic range to the west was the West Cang Mountain Range. Both mountain ranges were ho to nurous Demonic Beasts.
The front of Cangzhou Prefecture was guarded by a wide moat, hundreds of ters across. The river’s current was swift and difficult to cross, so a drawbridge had been built to allow citizens and soldiers to pass.
Furthermore, behind Cangzhou Prefecture lay a vast lake known as Cangzhou Lake. The lake was incredibly deep, and legend told of a Dragon Palace in its depths, ho to the Cangzhou Dragon King.

Xu Qing stared at Cangzhou Prefecture in awe, because its architectural style was completely different from that of Moon River Prefecture City.

Xu Qing took a deep breath.
He could see that the entirety of Cangzhou Prefecture was a towering, pagoda-like structure, ford by stacking one Suspended City on top of another.
It had nine layers in total.
The highest layer was shrouded in a hazy radiance, concealing it completely and faintly emitting an imasurable aura.
Xu Qing was waiting in line to enter the city.
The Nine Tier Sixteen Daoist Soldiers, along with the Ice Daoist Soldiers and Vajra Daoist Soldiers, had all been reverted to their Daoist Soldier Puppet forms by Xu Qing and stored in his Storage Ring.

After a mont of thought, Xu Qing took a token from within his robes. It was the Special Demon Extermination Order given to him by the County Magistrate of Qingfeng Town. "Please, have a look."
"A Special Demon Extermination Order."
The guard paused, inspecting the Token carefully before confirming its authenticity. "A Special Demon Extermination Order from Qingfeng Town? You’re from there?"
"That’s right."
After a mont of silence, Xu Qing nodded.
"Alright."
The guard nodded and handed the Special Demon Extermination Order back to Xu Qing. "Your Special Demon Extermination Order is valid. You just need to pay the ten-silver entry fee."
