The conflicts over the past three years had shown no signs of escalating, so this sudden support mission led Fang Yun to guess that the situation might have changed significantly.

He was the only one here who wasn’t an Elder of Battle Peak. As he walked over, the Elders who t his gaze all offered genuine smiles. They were incredibly friendly toward Fang Yun.
Normally, he wouldn’t be allowed to attend a eting reserved for the Elders of Battle Peak.
This broke the rules.
But rules were rigid, and people were flexible. As long as the Managent Elder of Battle Peak didn’t object, the others certainly wouldn’t say a word against Fang Yun’s presence.
There were many reasons for this.

The requested support was based on the needs stated by the subordinate influences themselves.

Elder Zhou wanted to go with Fang Yun so he could interact more with him and improve their relationship.

Upon hearing this, the other Battle Peak Elders began to chi in with agreent.
The main reason Fang Yun was even present in their Battle Peak eting hall was his own formidable strength.
