A Hundred-legged Rabbit!
Fang Yun recognized the Demon Beast at a glance.
The Hundred-legged Rabbit was one of his target Demon Beasts.
He had many target Demon Beasts, but he wasn’t always lucky enough to encounter one during his trips into the Supre Profound Mountain Range.
The hair on a Hundred-legged Rabbit’s legs was sparse, and it was exactly what he needed.
This hair was one of the main Spiritual Materials used to craft Half-Hidden Spirit Boots.

The hair from the legs of a peak Mid-Stage Second Tier Hundred-legged Rabbit would be sufficient, enough for him to Refine a pair of Half-Hidden Spirit Boots at the Upper Grade Spiritual Artifact level.
If this Hundred-legged Rabbit were only at the early Mid-Stage Second Tier, then even if he killed it, he wouldn’t be able to Refine the Half-Hidden Spirit Boots he currently wanted.
He already owned a pair of Middle Grade Spiritual Artifact-level Half-Hidden Spirit Boots. His next pair couldn’t possibly be Middle Grade; they needed to have at least seven Spirit Patterns to reach the Upper Grade Spiritual Artifact standard.
To keep the disturbance to a minimum, Fang Yun struck without holding anything back.

The Demon-slaying Sword he had Refined to deal with Demons could naturally be used against Demon Beasts as well.

The defenses provided by this Demon Power would be greatly weakened by the Demon-slaying Sword.

At his full strength, killing a Mid-Stage Second Tier Demon Beast was a simple task.
The Hundred-legged Rabbit, deep in slumber, only awoke in the last mont of its life.
And upon waking, it swiftly expired.
With the easy battle concluded, Fang Yun quickly began to collect the spoils.
A Mid-Stage Second Tier Demon Beast was a treasure from head to toe. The sparse hair on its legs was a key Spiritual Material for Refining Half-Hidden Spirit Boots, its pelt could be woven into a decent Magical Robe, and as for its flesh—in the hands of a Spirit Chef, it could beco a variety of delicious Spiritual Foods.

While gathering the spoils, Fang Yun felt a blood-red, spherical object inside the body of the peak Mid-Stage Second Tier Hundred-legged Rabbit.
Third Tier Demon Beasts always had a Demon Core, but Second Tier Demon Beasts only occasionally ford one.
The chances of this happening were extrely small.

A Demon Core like this could replace the three Spirit dicines—Blood Dew Flower, Three Spirits Fruit, and Mingqing Xuan Grass—as the main Spiritual Material for Refining a Foundation Establishnt Pill.
If a Demon Core from an early-stage Second Tier Demon Beast was used as the primary Spirit dicine for Refining a Foundation Establishnt Pill, its quality would be considered the lowest of the low. Generally, it could only produce a Lower Grade Foundation Establishnt Pill; only with a perfect Refining process might it yield a Middle Grade one.
The Demon Core in Fang Yun’s hand, however, was not just from a Mid-Stage Second Tier Demon Beast, but one at its peak. Using this Demon Core as the primary Spirit dicine, its quality was nearly on par with a top-tier combination of the three standard primary Spirit dicines.
