"In conclusion, it’s not that ti is harmless, but rather that races unable to resist ti to so extent have already gone extinct. The remaining races that exist today all possess so degree of ti resistance.

Among them, humans have the weakest resistance to ti, whereas we, the True Gods, were designed by the origin race, which infused their own rules to resist the poison of ti, thus having the strongest resistance to ti, almost never aging or dying due to temporal changes."

Yes, yes, you True Gods are indeed impressive.

Unable to suppress a roll of the eyes at the Omnia Cicada, Leon, struggling to suppress the sealing mark, couldn’t help but urge again:

"Don’t beat around the bush, just get on with it! What happened to the origin race in the end? And what is this ultimate mission all about?"

Why are you in such a hurry? Aren’t I just saying that?

Imrsed in a dream, the Omnia Cicada craned its neck, grumbling with a dissatisfied face:

"For the origin race, which lacks birth and death, has no beginning and end, and whose entire life is a cyclical ’mont,’ ti is an eternal poison they could never adapt to.

Although they found a way to create us True Gods as incarnations and escaped the first disaster by hosting part of the rules, when ti began to spread horizontally, they nonetheless faced their eventual destruction."

"Horizontal spreading?"

"It’s like your son, directly spanning countless different worlds."

Recalling the terrifying pacifier that descended from above, the Omnia Cicada spoke expressionlessly:

"Almost every choice made by anyone causes the end of ti to crack open, creating countless branching paths like twigs extending in different directions.

Unlike us, who adapted to ti and exist only within a single tiline, the origin race was innately able to penetrate everything, directly observing and even traversing all different tilines, where they were the sa entity in every world.

This was a powerful manifestation, but also an inescapable curse, as each mont in ti gives birth to countless new futures.

The origin race, being able to penetrate ti, had to exist simultaneously in countless tilines. But since newly born worlds and tis are infinite, no matter how grand the will, it couldn’t distribute itself accordingly. Yet, they did indeed exist in all the different worlds.

Therefore, the ’will’ and ’thought’ of these origin races got stretched horizontally without end, fragnted into entities even smaller than the tiniest thoughts, incapable of supporting even a mont’s pondering.

So, in a sense, those origin races didn’t die, but their individual ’will,’ like grains of salt falling into the sea, got diluted by countless worlds, rendering their consciousness non-existent, leaving only those magnificent shells."

"..."

"Didn’t understand? If you didn’t get it, I can say it more plainly."

Having already revealed the deepest secrets that mustn’t be exposed, the Omnia Cicada, seemingly resigned, continued recklessly:

"What you know as the essence, are actually ’corpse chambers’ of the origin race. Every rule you see inside is actually the corpse of an origin race mber, killed by the poison of ti!"

"..."

The essence...is a corpse chamber of the origin race?!!!

Recalling those rules coursing through countless conduit-like veins in the essence, Leon’s hand trembled slightly as he learned this ’truth’, almost unable to maintain his grip on the dream’s essence.

If that’s true, the ability of the origin remnants to inherently perceive the essence was because they were once part of the origin race and could see their own kin’s bodies?

Or further, what ensures the normal operation of nurous dinsions of the present and Old Soil is not any pre-existing rule, but corpses left by an ancient race? Then the acts of No.1 in plundering the essence are akin to reclaiming the bodies of their kin?!?!"

"I think I understand now..."

Taking a deep breath to calm his too-shocked emotions, Leon squinted his eyes and asked:

"So stop wasting ti, tell , what is the ultimate mission of the origin remnants?"

"I only know the first half of the ultimate mission."

The Omnia Cicada shrugged:

"The origin race could not adapt to ti, but inversely, this ant they transcended ti, knowing of their own annihilation as soon as the disaster began.

Not willing to just vanish entirely, they selected the fourteen most gifted of their kin and fourteen races capable of resisting ti’s poison, for those fourteen kin to voluntarily erase themselves and disperse the essence into these fourteen chosen races.

Oh, and by the way, of these fourteen races, thirteen already existed, but we True Gods are different. We were a special race created with the collective strength of the origin race, their civilization’s supre creation.

While we can only touch part of the rules and cannot gaze directly into the essence like them, we are almost wholly exempt from the harm caused by ti, second only to them in perfect nature, so..."
