"Is this how you confess?"

Han Zhan glanced at Feng Ya’s attire, nearly losing his calm deanor.

This is too much! Is this how you test ?

Can I even withstand such a test?!

Han Zhan thought Feng Ya was overestimating him a bit.

Especially since Feng Ya now exuded an innocent, startled-deer-like aura, a stark contrast to her previous flirtatious deanor.

The stark contrast unexpectedly made her even more attractive!

The saintly aura shattered, and bestial instincts surged forward.

Just as Han Zhan was about to set aside his reservations and engage in battle, he sensed a faint killing intent.

This intent was not only faint but also well-hidden. If not for Han Zhan’s brief mont of bestial instincts earlier, he might not have noticed it.

This realization was like a splash of cold water over Han Zhan, waking him up completely!

As a Close Combat Master, Han Zhan acted on his instincts, striking at the open space to his front right.

Bang!

The sudden action startled Feng Ya, who was sitting pitifully on the ground, but quickly a muffled grunt resounded from Han Zhan’s room.

A vague, transparent figure suddenly fell down.

Indeed, soone had sneaked into his room!

Han Zhan’s gaze sharpened, and he quickly lit a fire to illuminate the entire room.

What he saw almost made his nosebleed erupt.

If Feng Ya was wearing minimal equipnt, then this assassin wasn’t wearing any at all?!

Upon discovery, the embarrassed assassin bit her lip, attempting to hide again. Her body began to turn transparent, but only halfway before she was forcibly brought back, spitting out blood.

Han Zhan’s punch earlier had been without rcy.

"Who are you?" Feng Ya also noticed the woman lying next to her.

By her appearance, anyone would think she was the main force trying to seduce Han Zhan tonight.

This put enormous pressure on Feng Ya.

Turns out it’s because I’m not bold enough; if I were bolder, wouldn’t Brother Zhan have long been mine?!

"Just kill , no need for nonsense!" said the young woman on the ground, unflinchingly after her failed attempt to escape.

Han Zhan noticed that when she said this, there was a hint of urgency in her eyes.

"What are you afraid of?" Han Zhan suddenly asked.

As he spoke, he felt an intense heat from his abdon, primal desires transforming into a terrifying demon, devouring his rationality.

If not for his indomitable will honed between life and death, he would have already drowned in those primal urges.

Han Zhan suddenly realized what the assassin feared.

"You’re afraid of what I might do to you because you poisoned my room to trigger primal urges." Only this explained why Han Zhan so easily succumbed to such overwhelming impulses.

Soone like him, with a strong will, would normally resist these urges.

But upon seeing Feng Ya, his mind was suddenly flooded with vivid imaginations; this was not normal!

Listening to Han Zhan’s accusation, the young woman across bit her lip again, trembling quietly yet defiantly.

"You can choose not to speak." Han Zhan stood up, approaching her step by step.

Sure enough, as Han Zhan drew close, the woman’s body began to tremble slightly.

She was truly afraid.

A fastidious female assassin, fearing defilent before death.

From these clues, Han Zhan deduced so things.

"Your ability is stealth, but to be fully invisible, you must be unclothed, as clothes can’t beco invisible, exposing your presence."

"When you activate stealth, your pale, full body fades, becoming transparent like rippling water."

"You appeared after I dealt with Phoenix Perch Wood."

"All things considered, I guess you must be from Water Village?"

Han Zhan’s words startled both Feng Ya and the young woman on the ground.

Even if she hadn’t admitted her identity, her reaction had already betrayed her.

Sure enough, she was from Water Village.

Why would the people of Water Village attempt to assassinate ? What grudges could we have?

If anything, our only connection is the third task – slaying the Evil Dragon!

"So, you want to stop from slaying the Evil Dragon," Han Zhan concluded, word by word.

Upon hearing this, the young woman from Water Village beca extrely agitated, disregarding her current state, and cursed Han Zhan angrily.

"Shut up! That’s not an Evil Dragon! It’s the Divine Dragon, the protector of our Water Village!"

"The High Priest already said, the Divine Dragon faces a calamity, a deadly one. The Divine Dragon has protected our Water Village for millennia, so it’s our turn to stand up and protect it!"

Such self-motivated actions were sumd up by Han Zhan in two words.

"Foolishness."

"Even if it protected you once, it has fallen, committing countless sins, transforming from a Divine Dragon to an Evil Dragon. Yet you continue to serve it, which I find extrely foolish."

"I won’t kill you. I’ll hand you over to the village chiefs of Fengbai and Fla to let them interrogate you."

Han Zhan gave Feng Ya a glance.

"Huh? So, after the interrogation, we can finally get down to business?" Feng Ya, legs together, spoke coyly.

Annoyed, Han Zhan tapped her to wake her up.

"This place is filled with what could be a seductive toxin left by the assassin. Get out of here quickly, bring so clothes for her, and notify Feng Pingcheng and Huo Lie to prepare to co over."

"Oh, okay!" Feng Ya, holding her mildly swollen head, snapped out of her fantasies.

Who would have thought she’d end up with swollen pride tonight, but it was her head that swelled. Sighing, she lanted silently.

The ergence of a Water Village assassin wasn’t trivial.

Feng Ya instinctively quickened her pace, rushing out of the room.

At that mont, Han Zhan noticed faint gusts of air swirling beneath Feng Ya’s feet.

His gaze sharpened, pondering thoughtfully.

With Feng Ya gone, only Han Zhan and the female assassin remained, and tension filled the room once more.

Frustrated, Han Zhan punched himself twice.

He glared at her in frustration, "Even if you wanted to assassinate , couldn’t you have waited until later in the night? Coming right at the start, wasn’t this just a waste of ti!"

The female assassin from Water Village stared, bewildered: "?"
