"I have a question."
As they walked down the mountain path, Han Zhan suddenly spoke up.
"Is Zhan Ning the only Tier Seven Punishnt Knight in the entire Sun Never Sets Knight Order?"
Andrew wasn’t sure why Han Zhan was asking this question at this ti, but he quickly replied:
"Of course not, every Tier Seven and above mber is a core part of the force, and their numbers largely determine the strength of a force."
"Currently, the top-ranked Anti-Xia Alliance is known to have at least ten Tier Seven Spirit Contract Masters, while we, ranked second, only have five Tier Seven Punishnt Knights."
"The City of Extre Evil has been around for so long, and that’s all the Tier Seven and above people they have?" Han Zhan asked in confusion upon hearing this.
Andrew shook his head. "What do you think the Slaughter Battlefield exists for?"
"At the peak of the Sun Never Sets Knight Order, there were at least fifteen Tier Seven Punishnt Knights, with the Knight’s Aura fully bolstered, crushing everything in their path. But the glory didn’t last; in that round of the Slaughter Battlefield, we lost eight Punishnt Knights, more than half!"
Situations like this have occurred many tis in the history of various factions in the City of Extre Evil.
Andrew wanted to say more.
At that mont, they saw a gigantic firework blooming from the mine in the distance, illuminating the entire overcast sky.
"Run! The mine has collapsed!"
Di Long ran towards them like a gust of wind.
Behind him, the massive dark mine was becoming even larger at a visibly rapid pace.
Like an expanding abyssal maw, it consud everything around it completely.
"What did you do?" Andrew incredulously watched the scene unfold.
While he was in a daze, Han Zhan had already yanked him back.
Because if they were a few seconds slower, the ground they stood on would be replaced by the dark, deep abyss.
"I just threw a fireball in there!" Di Long said, slightly bewildered.
His perplexed tone was as if saying he had just lit a firecracker out of playfulness, questioning why an avalanche buried the village.
The "firecracker" was rely the trigger; the real cause of the "avalanche" was sothing else.
With Andrew and Di Long, Han Zhan frantically retreated until finally, after retreating a kiloter, the ground no longer collapsed.
The entire mine site was filled with rolling dust, obscuring all vision.
They had no ti to catch their breath.
A massive chanical hand suddenly erged from the dust, slamming violently onto the ground.
Boom!
The entire earth trembled.
It wasn’t over.
Another identical chanical hand erged from underground, and then crawling out of the dust was a chanical Giant the size of a mountain!
A War Fortress?! Han Zhan was shocked.
"Not a War Fortress, though enormous, it is still several tis smaller than a War Fortress."
Realizing this, Han Zhan breathed a slight sigh of relief.
If it were truly a War Fortress, with Tier Nine Peak combat strength, the three of them wouldn’t stand a chance.
If it’s not a War Fortress, then what is it?
Han Zhan took the opportunity before the opponent launched an attack to examine it more closely.
The mountain-like size went without saying; its upper body was made of a special tal Han Zhan had never seen before.
Don’t forget, the external chip on Han Zhan’s neck was still active, and under the chip’s scan, this special tal wasn’t recorded in Can Shang Company’s database!
This discovery was shocking.
As the leader of the science and technology sequence, Can Shang Company, a Level 6 Civilization, what kind of tal hadn’t they seen?
Han Zhan’s gaze followed its hands and arms to the tallic sheen of its upper body, and as he looked down, he was stunned.
The chanical Giant’s lower half was in a quantum state!
The quantum state is a special state where everything in such a state is converted into quantum form.
Externally, things in quantum state appear as ethereal blue light shadows, visible but intangible.
In the Qinse World, Han Zhan once used Shang Siteng’s Quantum Teleportation Array to launch a surprise attack on the Crimson Queen.
However, based on the information he gathered from Shang Siteng, the quantum state’s maintenance duration was ten seconds. Once it exceeded ten seconds, the quantum state would collapse, returning to nothingness.
Yet, before him, the chanical Giant’s lower half, in quantum state, not only exceeded the ten-second duration but also retained so physical effects, supporting the upper body and arms to perform various actions.
Seeing this, Han Zhan was filled with disbelief.
Han Zhan’s astonishnt was due to the discovery of unfamiliar technology beyond comprehension.
Andrew and Di Long’s shock stemd from having never imagined they would one day be so close to a colossal entity!
"What is this monster?!" Andrew stamred.
Di Long was more straightforward. The red Aura representing fire under his feet hadn’t completely faded when another fireball was reford above his head.
"Whatever monster it is, let’s hit it first!"
As soon as Di Long finished speaking, his attack was unleashed before anyone could stop it.
They were stunned by the scene that followed.
When the gigantic fireball hit the chanical Giant, the special tal surface rippled, and the fireball seamlessly rged into it, disappearing without a trace.
Unconvinced, Di Long released several more fireballs.
Until the red Aura under his feet vanished, each fireball t the sa fate, being absorbed into the chanical Giant without leaving a sign.
Attack ineffective!
Even an angry Di Long, his desires soaring, was doused with the equivalent of a cold bucket of water, forced into calmness.
Andrew could only stare in frustration.
Though impulsive, Di Long was at least a Tier Six Knight, with much stronger attack thods than his own.
If even he couldn’t damage the chanical Giant, Andrew stood no chance.
"We can’t keep using Spiritual Power attacks on it," Han Zhan suddenly interjected, interrupting Di Long, who was about to renew his Aura, "Haven’t you noticed, its lower half is transitioning from quantum state to normal form."
"Quantum state?" Di Long couldn’t comprehend.
Andrew was also only partially knowledgeable.
Not everyone is well-versed in such esoteric knowledge.
But at least they understood the words "lower half."
Following Han Zhan’s cue to look again, they indeed noticed the chanical Giant’s originally ethereal blue lower half was turning into the color of special material!
"It’s playing dumb, deliberately guiding us to use Spiritual Power ans to attack!"
Realizing this, Andrew finally showed so cleverness in speaking up.
But at that mont, the originally dim pupils of the chanical Giant suddenly lit up with two red lights.
"Intruder detected, initiating elimination protocol!"
