Azaroth on the other hand was looking at only one thing and that’s the ring on her hand. He knew it was powerful imdiately he saw it and with everything that happens with the water in the crypt? There’s no way that ring is ordinary.
As if Commander Apex was reading his mind he spoke. "You did well, Stallus but what’s that on your hand?"
Stallus raised her hand where the ring glinted, the tal of the ring was made of so light blue material that glowed softly. It is a beautiful ring. "This...I don’t know what it is."
Crypt Master moved forward. "This is surprising because...well, I tampered with the crypt a bit and I never expected it to produce an enchanted tool. And from the look of it, it’s certainly real. Congratulations Stallus."
"Co let see and appraise it." Crypt Master stretched out his hand.
Stallus removed the ring and placed it on his hand with a small frown her face as if she didn’t want to let it go.
Azaroth watched Crypt Master’s face as he registered the enchanted tool. His face went from normal to surprise and then shock. He looked at Stallus carefully and then cleared his throat.
Everyone was watching him, waiting for what he has to say but the crypt Master remained silent. Eventually Commander Apex snapped. "What type of enchanted too is it?"
The crypt Master cleared his throat. "It’s.. related to crystal but have other properties that isn’t revealed to ."
Typical, powerful enchanted tools can sotis keep their real power from showing. aning this enchanted too is aware. Commander Apex was even more interested in it. "Then what level is it? It looks strong, Acolyte or Survival level?"
The crypt Master shook his head. "It’s a growth type that will started growing only when the owner reach the sa level as the enchanted tool, you are so lucky Stallus." .
"What’s the level?" Alex demanded, a bit angry.
Crypt Master shrugged and answered him slowly. "The enchanted tool is a Master rank."
The silence that followed was so thick blade can cut it. Master rank? Enchanted tools with such rank are five in a million. On norms, all enchanted tools are rare and it only becos more so as the rank increases.
Commander Apex took a step forward and his eyes shone. "Is that so? Let have have a look!" Even the Commander have not see a master level enchanted tool before.
He looked at it quickly, his eyes doing rough calculation. He said with the ring still in his hand. "The Inferno Legion will be taking this."
Stallus heart misses a beat and she jumped forward. "But I’m the one that finds it!"
Commander Apex beca very still and his eyes glowed red, the temperature began to rise and air blew hotly. "Have you forgotten your place? You are nothing but a slave of the Legion and your life is ours. We own you and everything on you."
Azaroth watched it all played out as he expected. And he knew if he was in the Commander’s shoe then he’ll react exactly the sa. Enchanted tool are also part of a person’s or organization’s power and the higher the rank the more power. But it also got his blood shimring. ’Remind them Apex, remind them why they must strive for power. Always power’ his red eyes glowed softly as he watched the buried anger crawl into Stallus face.
Azaroth thought she might just attack the Commander but they wll could feel the power coming from that man and he’ll crush them like a ant.
But her eyes told of the hatred and deep hot anger that bubble like lava.
Commander Apex was glad there’s slave mask to control these trash or else who knew what might happen happen to the Legion because just look at this one! See the way she’s looking at with that filthy eyes of eyes. "Co closer girl." He said softly.
Stallus’s legs jerked her forward, her eyes never leaving the Commander’s and when she was close enough she paused. "Wha...!!"
Wham! Her cheek stings and she fell. The Commander just slapped her! Her blood shimred and anger boiled in her, not because of the pain but the humiliation of it.
"You are a slave girl. Your body, your dream, your life. It all belongs to us. You are useful for now so you’ll keep your eyes, look at ever again and it’ll be your head. Is that clear?"
All Stallus wanted to do just then was to throw her crystal and even though it won’t affect him she’s sure she’ll enjoy the surprise look on his face. But she then rember what Azaroth said once, ’revenge is only for the powerful. You’ll just die uselessly if you try revenge without strength.’
So he smiled and bowed her head ti the ship floor. "Yes, Commander Apex."
He snorted and turned to crypt Master. "Train them respect too or they’ll not die an easy death."
Crypt Master smiled. "Of course. Can you return the ring now? It doesn’t belong to you."
"What?!" His outburst was followed by essence pressure that slamd into everyone and sent them into the floor as the air itself gained weight.
Even Kael was on his knees while the others are flat on their face. Azaroth eyes widen, he knew the Commander is powerful but surely not this much!
Only the crypt Master still remained standing with ease. "It is exactly as I said, Commander. That ring is not for you and have you forgotten about the deal? I’ll train the children, how I deem fit. This is also part of it. Give the ring, Apex."
The Commander’s eyes narrowed, he looked at the blue ball but the voice said nothing. Then he looked at crypt Master. "This is a crypt loot, they work for the Inferno Legion...slaves of the Inferno Legion."
Crypt Master sighed. "Very well, you can have it."
