"What should it normally look like when soone reaches this place?"
Echkatel replied,
"Normally... nothing should exist."
"The current you shouldn’t exist yet. You would need to wait until the Tree of Wisdom grants you a spark of spirituality before your birth could begin."
"This is the very beginning of a person’s tiline."
"And yet, here you are—a complete person, already soone who has undergone class advancent, standing in this place."
"You really are special."
Kanzaki Rei looked around as both his gaze and perception swept through the surroundings.
But with a single glance—
He realized that what he saw was not entirely real.
In every direction, hidden fractures and concealnts existed within space itself.
At first glance, everything appeared harmonious and complete.
But in truth—
It was already riddled with holes.
The deepest layer of reality revealed things Kanzaki Rei should never have been able to see.
"Echkatel."
"What’s here should be the true Tree of Wisdom, correct?"
Echkatel answered,
"Well, obviously."
"Uh... alright, maybe I shouldn’t say that so confidently."
"You know, I haven’t actually left that place in countless years."
"I’m purely a theorist."
"In theory, once soone reaches the origin point of their own existence, they can truly stand before the Tree of Wisdom and witness how they descended from it and gradually ford into a new life."
"So the Tree of Wisdom in front of us should be real."
Should be real...
But in Kanzaki Rei’s eyes—
Most of the tree was already illusory.
It still looked whole and complete on the surface, but in reality—
It was nearly hollow.
Only a small portion of its branches remained real. A few stems. A few leaves.
Compared to its incomprehensibly massive entirety—

"Echkatel... has this tree always been incomplete?"

Echkatel had also lived for an extrely long ti.
Yet she knew almost nothing.
She only understood certain things from the prehistoric era. As for anything that happened over the next hundred million years—
She was completely ignorant.
At that mont, both of them were filled with questions.

They were equally clueless.

He stored a fragnt of the Tree of Wisdom’s true branch within his Sea of Consciousness.
