"So fast?"
Even Kokoro Senka was startled by how quickly the door had appeared.
She had originally assud they would have to wander here for ten days or even half a month.
After all, luck was the sort of thing nobody could predict.
But this Kanzaki Rei was absurdly lucky.
How had the door appeared in less than a second?
...No, wait.
Maybe I’m the lucky one?
After all, the door only appeared after I escaped.
Why am I giving him the credit?
"Let’s go."
While Kokoro Senka was still lost in thought, Kanzaki Rei had already started walking forward.
"Hey!"
"You’re not scared at all? Charging in recklessly like that?"
Kanzaki Rei stopped before the gate, already preparing to push it open.
"What’s there to be afraid of?"
Kokoro Senka hesitated for a mont before finally saying:
"This is an ancient ruin connected to a Primordial Forbidden Magic."
"If Primordial Forbidden Magic were that easy to obtain, then wouldn’t these spells have spread everywhere already?"
"There must be unimaginable life-and-death dangers inside."
Kanzaki Rei instead countered calmly:
"But whether soone can obtain a Primordial Forbidden Magic should also depend on their comprehension, shouldn’t it?"
"Even if the magic were placed directly in front of soone, it doesn’t necessarily an they could learn it."
Of course, Kanzaki Rei forcibly stealing magic was another matter entirely.
But for ordinary mages—
Even those hailed throughout the world as geniuses blessed with peerless talent—
They would probably still be completely overwheld when facing a Primordial Forbidden Magic.
Even Izparut had once considered Primordial Forbidden Magic sowhat difficult to comprehend.
Most likely, only Level 8 mages could truly understand their mysteries.
And in the entire world—
How many Level 8 mages even existed?
Within the Secret Sea, there was only An Zheng.
Aside from him, Kanzaki Rei knew of no others.
Perhaps in the current era, Izparut had also beco a Level 8 mage, which would only make sense.
Even if the entire world were counted together, Kanzaki Rei doubted there were even five Level 8 mages in total.
So even if Primordial Forbidden Magic were openly released for the entire world to study—
It still probably wouldn’t beco widespread.
Besides—
Learning it was one matter.
Actually being able to cast it was another.
The price of Primordial Forbidden Magic was not sothing everyone could ignore.
So whether Primordial Forbidden Magic could ever beco widespread...
Had very little to do with how dangerous it was.
Kokoro Senka beca annoyed after being countered by Kanzaki Rei.
"Fine then! Go ahead and underestimate this ruin. If you fall into a trap later, you’ll deserve it."
Kanzaki Rei couldn’t help laughing slightly.
After spending so long in this world—
Most people only beca more calculating and experienced as their levels increased and age accumulated.
Very few people still acted on impulse.
But this Kokoro Senka—
Her ntal age genuinely felt like that of a child.
She constantly spoke out of emotion.
Kanzaki Rei replied helplessly:
"You really are unreasonable. When exactly did I underestimate this ruin?"
"Isn’t this simply the next thing we’re supposed to do?"
"We were searching for a door. Now the door has appeared. Are we supposed to ignore it?"
Kokoro Senka’s concerns were not entirely unfounded.
Kanzaki Rei was within a future preview, so naturally he could ignore most dangers.
If he died, he could simply exit the preview.
Besides—
Even if he truly died—
That only ant entering reincarnation.
And reincarnation wasn’t death to Kanzaki Rei.
That was why he remained fearless.
Still—
Her temperant was far too transparent.
Kanzaki Rei didn’t mind pretending to be sowhat careless and impulsive.
That would likely lower Kokoro Senka’s guard around him.
She clearly possessed a childish personality—straightforward and blunt, incapable of calculating too many layers deep.
Kanzaki Rei asked again:
"If you think we shouldn’t go in, then tell —what exactly are we supposed to do now?"
After being refuted repeatedly by Kanzaki Rei—
Kokoro Senka actually couldn’t think of a response.
In truth, there really wasn’t anything else to do.
Once a door had been found, entering it was naturally the next step.
She just felt irritated for so reason.
Her cheeks flushed slightly red as she wanted to argue back—
But ultimately failed to say anything.
All she could do was mutter softly:
"Then let’s go already."
"You still haven’t explained what happened during those ten years you disappeared."
"That’s right! Hurry up and explain what happened back then!"
"You almost managed to dodge the question again."
Kanzaki Rei smiled.
"Alright, alright. Didn’t we just not have ti earlier?"
"I’ll explain while we walk."
Kanzaki Rei placed one hand against the massive gate.
RUMBLE!
The gate opened in response.
Beyond it appeared an incomparably vast space resembling a universe itself.
Floating throughout that endless expanse were words.
Golden characters drifted through the void.
They were letters from a language he had never learned and could not actually read—
Yet he still instinctively understood the aning behind every single character.
These words—
Were all nas.
From every na extended countless faint threads.
The threads were so thin they were almost invisible, yet trillions upon trillions of them stretched outward, connecting to other nas.
Kanzaki Rei reached out toward the threads.
Yet discovered he couldn’t touch them at all.
"What are we supposed to do now?" Kanzaki Rei asked.
Kokoro Senka answered:
"Find our own nas."
Kanzaki Rei asked again:
"And what if we can’t find them?"
Kokoro Senka frowned.
"How could that happen? This place carries the destiny of every living being. Unless you’re not from this world, even if you were a monster or a mindless ant, you should still be able to find yourself."
Kanzaki Rei nodded slowly.
"Oh... alright then. I’ll look around."
Kokoro Senka continued:
"You can keep explaining what happened back then while we search. Actually, my master has always been curious about where exactly you disappeared to."
Kanzaki Rei nodded lightly.
"Well... it’s a rather long story."
In any case, with Unsolvable Mystery combined with Future Preview, Kanzaki Rei wasn’t worried about leaking information.
So he straightforwardly summarized most of what he had experienced.
Only a few details were deliberately omitted.
For example—
He didn’t ntion that he had released a sealed Aehkator.
Nor did he ntion that after every single day passed, he still perford four additional future previews.
Naturally, Kokoro Senka also failed to realize that Kanzaki Rei could continuously preview the future.
After listening to everything—
Kokoro Senka’s expression beca incredibly strange.
"So what you’re saying is... you currently possess two Primordial Forbidden Magics?"
Kanzaki Rei nodded.
"Mm."
Kokoro Senka’s lips twitched slightly.
"No wonder..."
"Wait—your aning is that you’re only Level 6 right now?"
Kanzaki Rei spread his hands.
"That’s right."
Level 6?
Kokoro Senka only felt that if she fought him, the result would undoubtedly be instant death with absolutely no possibility of resistance.
Was this really the pressure a Level 6 could produce?
"So... breaking the agreent back then wasn’t sothing I wanted either. If I get another opportunity, I’d still like to make up for failing to keep that promise."
Heh.
Promises made inside future previews...
"By the way, how is your master Lottie doing these days? Is she alright?"
"We’ve been talking about this whole ti, but I haven’t heard anything about her. Back then, failing to keep my promise really was unavoidable. Honestly, I genuinely hoped Lady Lottie would beco the next Moonstar."
"After all, I’d also love to have a powerful Moonstar backing ."
"If Lady Lottie had successfully beco Moonstar back then, maybe I wouldn’t have ended up trapped inside the Ti Ruins for so long."
