Chapter 2313: Chapter 2314: Encounter

After speaking, Lin Yi stepped over the man and sauntered out of the VIP lounge.

But even at this mont, Lin Yi still had doubts in his heart.

How did soone like Andre, such a small fry, find him?

Lin Yi suppressed the doubts in his heart and headed towards the main exit, ready to leave this place of trouble quickly.

But at that mont, a large group of uniford people charged in from outside.

Ard to the teeth, sothing seed very off about them.

And it was precisely at that mont that Lin Yi spotted Shi Dao Ming in the crowd.

The appearance of these people instantly made Lin Yi understand what was happening.

Bernard must have already tead up with Japan.

The Sunrise Landese had provided Bernard with a photo of himself and conducted a search, otherwise, such an incident wouldn’t have occurred.

A smile played at the corner of Lin Yi’s lips; it seed Bernard was the most cunning of them all.

Lin Yi, who had originally planned to exit through the main door, retreated.

Although there were many people on the other side, it was their guns that truly made Lin Yi wary.

If these people really started shooting at him, it would no doubt be a very ssy situation.

Most importantly, those from the Sunrise Land had so skills, and they could also cause so troubles for him.

Therefore, at this ti, Lin Yi’s strategy was to advance by retreating, and he had already figured out their routine.

Taking advantage of the chaos in the crowd, Lin Yi ducked into the restroom, then pried open the window and escaped from the airport without any mishaps.

Standing in the distance, Lin Yi saw more than a dozen vehicles parked at the airport entrance.

Bernard was also standing there, appearing quite imposing.

Lin Yi shook his head with a smile, feeling that those standing at the door looked like a bunch of fools.

Quite interesting.

Glancing at his watch, Lin Yi realized it was already past five in the evening.

According to this ti, he should have originally left with Ning Che and then transferred from Yanjing to Zhong Hai.

Now, all this ti had been wasted here.

Wrapping his coat tighter around himself, Lin Yi left the airport.

At this ti, he didn’t choose any other ways to leave and simply took a taxi to the embassy.

He planned to have the officials help him out, to find a way to send him back without further troubles.

Night fell, and the sky gradually darkened.

The lights outside the embassy were still on.

Outside the reception room, a few staff mbers were quietly discussing sothing.

“What’s the matter? The local Foreign Office head has been talking with our leader for over an hour, and they still show no sign of leaving,” said a woman wearing a work uniform.

“I heard it’s because China’s secret departnts ca here for a mission, which got in their way, so they’ve co to make trouble for us,” replied a man.

The man and woman, both nad ng Jingpeng and Xu Bingying respectively, were both staff mbers of about the sa age.

“Really? If that’s the case, aren’t we in a passive situation?” Xu Bingying expressed her surprise.

“Exactly, the other party is quite unrelenting and wants us to give an explanation,” sighed ng Jingpeng.

“Do they have evidence?”

“I don’t know about that,” shrugged ng Jingpeng.

“Is it possible they’re framing us, deliberately saring our reputation?”

“That’s unlikely,” ng Jingpeng said,

“If they were intentionally saring us, they would hold a press conference instead of coming to us directly. Moreover, since the deadlock has lasted so long, I assu it’s been confird, and they likely have evidence.”

“This…”

Xu Bingying’s expression froze, “If that’s the case, aren’t we at a disadvantage?”

“There’s nothing we can do; after all, such a thing has happened.”

“But I want to know which departnt ca here to carry out the mission, leaving behind such a ss,” said Xu Bingying.

“I have no idea about that, but it’s certain that their identity must be very secret, inaccessible to ordinary people. It’s most likely a top-tier violent agency; otherwise, they would have asked for our cooperation.”

As they were speaking, the door to the reception room burst open.

Two middle-aged n walked out.

One, a foreign man with a diterranean hairstyle, was none other than the local Foreign Office head, Bilic.

The other was Luo Baofeng, the person in charge from the China side.

“Mr. Luo, I hope you can handle this matter actively and then provide us with an explanation.”

Luo Baofeng smiled, humble and cordial.

“Rest assured, if there’s any responsibility on our part, we will definitely deal with it actively.”

“I don’t want you to use such excuses to delay ; this is a very serious diplomatic incident, and we will pursue it to the very end,” Bilic said sternly and dramatically.

“Rest assured, it will be handled.”

In reality, Luo Baofeng knew the situation all too well.

When Lin Yi and the others ca here for the mission, Liu Hong had called him in advance.

Hoping that he could offer assistance when necessary.

So he was well aware of the situation and did not beat around the bush with Bilic, opting for a delaying tactic, hoping to downplay the seriousness of the issue.

But in truth, if it ca down to resolving this matter, it would indeed be difficult.

Since his side was at fault, there was no suitable solution available, so he could only keep dragging it out.

On the other hand, Bilic was persistent and even saw through Luo Baofeng’s sche, continuously exerting pressure.

The previous hour-long conversation had mostly revolved around this issue.

Bilic wanted a definitive answer from Luo Baofeng, but the latter just wouldn’t commit, leading to a stalemate.

“Mr. Luo, I don’t want you to delay anymore. If you can’t handle this matter within a week, we will use other ans. I hope you can rember the final deadline.”

“Alright.”

ng Jingpeng and Xu Bingying, overhearing the conversation between the two n, were a bit nervous and unsure how to handle the situation.

At that mont, footsteps were heard not far away.

Everyone instinctively looked over and saw Lin Yi and a young man walking together, chatting and laughing in an easy manner.

However, Luo Baofeng’s expression changed upon seeing Lin Yi.

He had never expected him to co here!

Others were searching for him and yet he had delivered himself right to the doorstep!

Bilic, standing beside him, reacted similarly because he had already seen Lin Yi’s photo from Bernard.

He recognized the man approaching them!

As Lin Yi approached, noticing the odd expressions on their faces, he gave Bilic a second glance.

“It’s him, Mr. Luo!” said an excited Bilic,

“I’m going to take him away now; he needs to face our legal punishnt.”

Lin Yi looked at the hysterical Bilic and asked, puzzled,

“What’s the matter?”
