“Apparently, she wasn’t feeling well since last night, but she didn’t tell you.” Shen Shuyi explained:
“Judging by the tiline, it’s due. It’s normal to have symptoms now. Just get it done and co to Union dical College Hospital.”
Lin Yi’s face darkened, the corner of his mouth twitching.
Could it be that last night’s “activity” stirred the baby to co out?

“I’ll head back right away.”
“Alright.”
After ending the call, Lin Yi quickly found a spot to turn the car around and, speeding up, ran through several red lights to reach Union dical College Hospital.
“Don’t panic. Rushing won’t solve anything.” Qin Yingyue said:
“Her checkups have been good; there’s nothing to worry about. You’re the one who used to be a doctor—why are you more stressed than ?”
“I completely trust the level of care at Union dical College Hospital,” Lin Yi said with a smile:
“But I’m a bit nervous. I’m about to beco a dad, and I’m not sure I’m ready.”

“How’s she doing?” Qin Yingyue stepped forward and asked.

“She’s doing okay; no issues,” Shen Shuyi said calmly, “There are so many doctors here; it’ll be fine.”

Just then, a doctor walked out from the ward.
“Doctor, how’s she doing now?” Qin Yingyue quickly approached.
“She’s dilated to six centiters. She just needs to hold on a bit longer. Once we’re at ten centiters, she can give birth. Waiting here, surrounded by family, helps keep her spirits up.”
“Alright, thank you.”
“You’re welco. Just call if you need anything; my office is right ahead.”
“Alright.”
The doctor spoke politely, fully aware that anyone staying on this floor was no ordinary person.
The Liang family mbers gradually entered the ward one after another. Lin Yi sat down next to Liang Ruoxu, while her family and Qin Yingyue stood to the side.
“Hang in there; it’s not ti yet,” Lin Yi gently comforted her, holding her hand.
Liang Ruoxu gritted her teeth and repositioned herself slightly, “It’s been hurting so long I’m going numb.”

Lin Yi held the chocolate up to Liang Ruoxu’s mouth, and she slowly ate it.
