The owner was a middle-aged man in his forties, not very tall, looking quite shrewd, and holding a cigarette.

The group sensed sothing strange, put down their chopsticks, and listened intently to the owner’s words.
“I just heard rumors; I don’t know the details. If you’re free, boss, you could tell us about it.”

The owner took a puff of his cigarette and said:

“So, there’s another scenic area to the west?”
“It’s long gone,” the middle-aged owner said:
“I heard that boss spent millions to restore the tomb and made up a bunch of stories, thinking they could earn so money. But in the end, they nearly lost everything.”
“Logically, that place’s position is about the sa as yours, and they have an Imperial Mausoleum for viewing, yet they lost money, and you’re making money?”
“That’s why it’s said to be eerie,” the middle-aged owner said:
“I rember at the opening ceremony, they made a big show, but never got much traction. Advertising afterward didn’t help either. In less than half a year, two people died there, causing a lot of trouble for that big boss, and eventually, it shut down.”
“Then why did you open a resort nearby; aren’t you afraid of being affected?” Lin Yi asked.
“How could I not be? But I really saw the potential in this place. If I didn’t do it, I’d feel itchy,” the middle-aged owner stubbed out his cigarette and said:
“I was young back then, found a master to write a talisman for , and then went for it. Didn’t expect it to actually work out.”
“Is that tomb really that eerie?”
“Who knows?” the middle-aged owner said:
“I heard others say that big boss was ssing around in the tomb and got involved with so unclean stuff, so things turned out that way.”

“Places like the Imperial Mausoleum are boring with just scenery. You need a gimmick, especially those folk ghost stories; the common folk love those things. We even created a few here, and they worked quite well.”
“Just making up a few stories shouldn’t have such serious consequences, though.”
“Seems like it wasn’t just a few stories; they dug up a lot of places and caused quite a ss,” the middle-aged owner said:
“But I can’t say for sure what happened. Maybe he didn’t have the fortune for it, so he couldn’t make money off of it. People have to believe in fate; otherwise, things go wrong.”
“You’re making sense,” Lin Yi said with a laugh.
From what the owner said, Lin Yi couldn’t deduce any useful information.
He could only infer that the tomb didn’t hold much value.
Otherwise, according to relevant laws and regulations, it should have been protected, not sold to individuals.
He decided he would have to go on-site to get a better understanding of the situation.
About half an hour later, they finished their als like a gust of wind, smiled, bade farewell to the owner, and drove towards the tomb area.
The distance between the two places was about three kiloters, not too far.

They walked leisurely into the palace and found sothing different inside.
Inside stood many statues, and there were lots of wooden plaques with writing on them.
But the most eye-catching was the large dirt pit in front of them.
It was about five ters by five ters, with a depth of about two ters, filled with all sorts of trash. Around it was a chain fence, but it was no longer of any use.
Besides this, there were other, variously sized deep pits connected to each other.
