Capítulo 3206: Chapter 3198: Blood Bull Club’s Plan
Madir picked up the wine beside him and took a slow sip.
Cowell answered the phone.
In an instant, Cowell’s expression changed.
“Is the information accurate?”
“Okay, I know. Keep watching their movents!”
After giving so instructions, Cowell hung up the phone, his expression turning tense.
“Our people discovered that the Central Guards Brigade made contact with Afluo.”
“Hmm?!”
Madir’s eyes widened, “They actually found that b*tch!”
“The ssage is definitely correct, soone has already seen it with their own eyes. Will she betray us?”
After a long silence, Madir did not provide a clear answer.
But it was evident that the contact between these two parties did make him a bit panicked.
Afluo is too scheming, and it’s challenging for Madir to guess what she has in mind.
But one thing was certain, the encounter between them would spell trouble for him, never anything good.
“Alright, continue the investigation,” Madir said:
“Especially regarding Afluo. If that woman betrays us, deal with her!”
“Got it, boss.”
Cowell left, and Madir lit a cigarette, shouting into the room:
“Hurry up, there’s sothing I need to discuss with you.”
“Alright, don’t rush, bro.”
Another ten minutes passed, and the noise in the room subsided.
Soon after, a man in shorts erged, shirtless, with a bottle of vodka in hand.
The man’s na was Joyce; he and Madir were trained together.
They were deployed to seize the information in Lin Yi’s possession.
Although Joyce wasn’t as strong as Madir, he excelled in strategy.
From the start of the plan to now, he handled all operations personally.
The mastermind Lin Yi referred to was precisely him.
Their collaboration was seamless.
If it weren’t for the intelligence Afluo possessed, the two sides wouldn’t have chosen to cooperate.
“Buddy, what do you want to tell ?”
“Two things,” Madir said:
“Group 1 didn’t land on the island this ti; instead, it was Group 3.”
“They didn’t go…?”
Joyce pondered for a few seconds and said:
“I guess sothing held them up, or they’re investigating us. But I was thorough; even if he is the rit Team Leader of the Central Guards Brigade, he wouldn’t find anything.”
“That’s not the point. The point is that the Central Guards Brigade made contact with Afluo.”
“You’re worried she’ll expose our plan?”
“It’s possible; she’s a very unpredictable person,” Madir said.
“Don’t be so pessimistic, buddy. It might be for other reasons,”
Joyce chuckled, taking a sip of his drink.
“The plan was jointly designed, and she’s responsible for it too. Exposing these things would be suicidal.”
After hearing Joyce’s words, Madir’s expression improved significantly.
“It’s ti to discuss the next steps,” Madir said:
“Group 1 didn’t land on the island, so we don’t have to be overly cautious. We can finish what we need to on the island first.”
“Even though we aren’t afraid of the Central Guards Brigade, if conflict arises, others could benefit,” Joyce said:
“Only our three organizations were directly involved in the Middle East incident; we’re the pri suspects, despite the Central Guards Brigade lacking evidence.”
“So, you also agree with continuing to land on the island, right?”
“But I think we should set our sights elsewhere.”
Madir looked at Joyce, “What do you an?”
“I’ve been tracking Afluo’s movents and found she left Zhong Hai a few days ago, which is strange,” Joyce said:
“Staying so long in the Central Guards Brigade’s territory is suspicious and worth our attention.”
“You an she stayed in Zhong Hai because she had other tasks?”
“Yes, and I’ve heard that the Central Guards Brigade developed sothing promising that supposedly enhances its user’s combat strength.”
“Are the Central Guards Brigade also researching serums?”
“Not serum trials, but an instrunt that stimulates the human body to unlock potential. It’s much safer than serums, with no side effects—practically perfect.”
“You want to get your hands on that instrunt?”
Madir looked at Joyce calmly.
“Such a precious thing would be kept secret. It’d be simpler to think about how to eliminate Lin Yi than to obtain it.”
“I would never do such a thing; stealing from the Central Guards Brigade isn’t easy.”
“So, what’s your idea?”
“I’m very interested in soone nad Chen Zhiyi, the leader of Group 7 in the Central Guards Brigade.”
“The risk is high. Is it worth pursuing? This needs more deliberation.”
Though Madir was rash, only compared to Lin Yi.
Compared to others, he was average, which is why he was a key target for the Blood Bull Club.
To him, stealing from the Central Guards Brigade seed extrely challenging and success seed unlikely.
It would be akin to a suicide mission.
“I don’t know the potential gains, but acquiring it would surely benefit us,”
“Why are you so certain?”
Joyce’s expression turned mysterious.
“I suspect Afluo stayed after the action for this very thing!”
Joyce’s words made Madir reflect.
“Given the circumstances, whatever Afluo is interested in must be it. We should act; if she gets it, we’ll gain nothing from this mission.”
“I know,” Joyce shrugged, “Returning empty-handed would certainly anger the Governor, but we mustn’t rush.”
“You plan to wait longer?”
“Yes, and we for sure must wait,” Joyce said:
“The Middle East incident has put God’s Army, the Gongyuan Association, and us under suspicion. Hence, the Central Guards Brigade will undoubtedly bolster their defenses, making actions difficult for Afluo. For now, we only need to keep monitoring them without showing ourselves.”
Madir shrugged, “I don’t think this is a good idea; we’re too passive and at her rcy.”
“Relax, buddy. It’s not as you think,”
Joyce said with a confident smile:
“I’ve already crafted a plan. When the ti is ripe, we’ll make our move.”
