"He’s been like this the past two days." Yu Siying said:
"I don’t even know why he’s taking ti off."
"Today should be the last day, right?"
"Yeah, he’ll be back to work tomorrow."
Standing in front of the telescope, Lin Yi was silent for a while, "Now from teams five to eight, no one is allowed to go ho without applying for leave. Is anyone else applying for leave after him?"
"It’s Ma Feilong from team six asking for a day off, saying his father is celebrating his birthday, and he wants to go see him."

Driving, Lin Yi arrived at the entrance of a company nad Delong Trading and parked across the street.
This is the company that Ren Shoucai’s wife, Fu Lili, runs.
But Lin Yi didn’t contact Zhang Chaoyue, he just watched silently.
Since the company is engaged in import-export trade, people co and go frequently, including many foreigners, adding significant difficulty to the investigation.
So Lin Yi stayed from dayti till night, and these comings and goings seed normal.
Lin Yi took out a kraft paper bag, pulled out the docunts, and looked over the information about Fu Lili.
Ning Che had prepared comprehensive information with detailed descriptions of Fu Lili’s company.
But upon seeing the content inside, a trace of doubt arose in Lin Yi’s mind.
Though the company’s profits were good, they weren’t exceptionally high.
Seeing this, Lin Yi called Ning Che and accessed the caras opposite the company wanting to check surveillance footage from other tis.
Thus, Lin Yi kept busy till past 11 p.m., until Ning Che ca to deliver him a midnight snack.
"I bought you dumplings, eat them while they’re hot."
Lin Yi took the two plates of dumplings, eating them one at a ti.
"How are things, did their relationship show any abnormalities?"
"So far, nothing seems wrong, but Ren Shoucai’s condition seems off. He doesn’t appear to be sick."
"Siying has already briefed about Ren Shoucai’s situation. We also feel sothing’s not right, but without any evidence, we can only keep watch." Ning Che said:
"His ho network system has been constantly monitored, impossible to make contact with outsiders. The only breakthrough is his wife, so I’ve had you keep an eye on her."
"Everything seems fine here, everything’s normal," Lin Yi said.
"The problem might lie in this; it’s almost midnight, and Fu Lili hasn’t co down yet, which is suspicious."
Lin Yi looked up at the building’s lights, "If she dares to engage in any misconduct, she won’t get away with it."
Suddenly, the building’s lights went out, drawing both their attention.
A few minutes later, Fu Lili ca out carrying a bag and got into her car.
"Chaoyue, follow her," Lin Yi said over the walkie-talkie.
"Yes!"
Lin Yi didn’t move, watching them depart one after the other, then continued to review information on Fu Lili and Ren Shoucai.
About a dozen minutes later, Zhang Chaoyue’s voice ca through the walkie-talkie.
"Boss, he’s heading towards East Fourth Street, we can do the handoff there."
Following the address Zhang Chaoyue ntioned, Lin Yi drove over.
He completed the handoff at the specified location, with Fu Lili’s car finally stopping at a bar’s entrance.
"Looks like there’s trouble in the marriage; she’s out late instead of going ho." Ning Che comnted.
"This indicates sothing’s happening; a bar, with its crowd and chatter, is perfect for information exchange."
Lin Yi removed his seatbelt, handed Ning Che a mask, "Let’s go take a look."
"I’ve been to this bar before, I’ll take you in through the back door."
The two disguised themselves and, led by Ning Che, entered the bar through the back door.
It’s a quiet bar, not too noisy, with about eighty percent occupancy, giving off a serene and tranquil vibe.
They found a corner spot, ordered two drinks at random, and casually observed in Fu Lili’s direction.
At this mont, opposite her sat a blond foreigner, around thirtyish, with two drinks and a plate of fruit on the table, engaging in a pleasant conversation.
"I feel there’s definitely sothing wrong with Fu Lili," Ning Che said:
"At this ti, the chances of her going ho are slim. She might spend the night at a hotel; we could arrange a police check and investigate her during the opportunity."
"No need for now, it might scare her off." Lin Yi said:
"If she really goes to the hotel, we’ll install a cara in a random room, then use a maintenance excuse to switch their rooms, which will be more cautious."
"Sounds good," Ning Che grinned mischievously, "But this is quite a thrill, I can’t wait."
"If you’re really into such stuff, I can give you a few websites, lots of varieties."
"Forget it, this feels more real."
Lin Yi smiled helplessly, resigned to Ning Che’s humor.
After discussing the follow-up plan, they leisurely sipped their drinks while keeping an eye on Fu Lili.
About an hour later, Fu Lili settled the bill and left.
To their surprise, Fu Lili didn’t go to the hotel with the foreigner; instead, she bid farewell at the bar entrance and called a designated driver to leave.
The two followed her all the way and found Fu Lili returned ho without doing anything unusual.
"I’ve got to admire her; she was ready and yet didn’t go through with it, she’s quite skilled."
Ning Che leaned back comfortably in his chair, "Seems like there’s no gain tonight."
"Leave the rest to them; let’s get so sleep and discuss it tomorrow." Lin Yi said, stretching.
"Sounds good," Ning Che said:
"There’s a hotel nearby, I’ve already booked rooms, let’s head over now."
"Damn."

The next morning, Lin Yi groggily received a call from Yu Siying.
"Boss, there’s sothing up, Ren Shoucai called the brigade and asked for half a day off."
"He asked for leave?" Lin Yi sat up, "What’s his reason for taking ti off?"
"He said he’s feeling unwell and wanted half-day leave, planning to return to work in the afternoon."
"What did Team Leader Chen say?"
"The leave was approved, but he ntioned the person might be suspicious and told us to keep a close watch."
"Got it," Lin Yi said:
"You continue watching Ren Shoucai, I’ll handle Fu Lili’s matter."
"Understood."
Lin Yi hung up the phone, and Ning Che awoke.
"What happened?"
"Sothing’s a bit off, Ren Shoucai requested another half-day off.
