Gasps, screams, and cries mingled, echoing down the road and through the forests on either side.
As Gu Zheng soared through the air, he saw hundreds of people being chased by about twenty figures. These figures were engulfed in blue and white flas, their bodies swaying. Unintelligible roars escaped their throats, their pupils were grayish-white, and a rotten stench poured from their bodies.
SWOOSH!
He descended from the sky.
Gu Zheng observed the twenty or so people up close, focusing on the blue-and-white flas covering their bodies.
SHING~
He activated his Eyes of Golden Fla, scanning each of the burning individuals.
The outer flas were platinum-white, the inner ones a deep blue.
They spread on contact, were highly aggressive, and emitted a putrid stench.
’It’s unmistakable. This is Bosha Corpse Fire!’
With a flicker of his body, Gu Zheng dodged an attack from two of the living dead, his sharp brows furrowing.
’The Black Sheep Demon Race’s revenge is truly vicious.’
Under the gaze of his Eyes of Golden Fla, Gu Zheng instantly understood the origin and abilities of the blue-and-white fire.
Whether it was an ordinary person or a cultivator at the Alien Body, Super Body, or even Heroic Body Realm, anyone tainted by even a single spark of this Bosha Corpse Fire would suffer a terrifying assault. Their consciousness would slip away, and their flesh would begin to rot.

And Gu Zheng had recognized the Bosha Corpse Fire!
It was all connected. One could say the Black Sheep Demon Race’s plot had failed before it even truly began!

A surge of Divine Wondrous stirred up a gale that enveloped the twenty-so infected people, lifting them off the road and moving them into a ravine.

He dropped several massive boulders at the ravine’s entrance, blocking the way.
Gu Zheng shot into the sky. While heading for Divine Water County to excavate mud at the Yunmushan Reservoir, he used Mind-Spirit Sensing to send a ssage to Mo Jiateng. He ordered his Seal Slave, who had just reached the Super Body Realm, to search for the Black Sheep Demon Race mbers coming out of the Old Ox Mountain pass.
After consuming a Divine Essence Source Fruit, Mo Jiateng had successfully broken through to the Super Body Realm.
He was currently consolidating his realm and hadn’t left Sishui Prefecture.
Upon receiving Gu Zheng’s ssage, Mo Jiateng imdiately sprang into action.
He began circling Old Ox Mountain, sensing for the aura of Demon Fiends!
The aura emitted by the Black Sheep Demon Race was similar to that of ordinary sheep—it carried a foul, gay stench.

Gu Zheng flew at top speed and descended upon the Yunmushan Reservoir.
After the breach had appeared, the water in the thousand-year-old reservoir had almost completely drained out.
So areas had already bottod out, revealing large fish flopping around.
Holding his breath, Gu Zheng unleashed a surge of Divine Wondrous, telekinetically digging up large clumps of rotten sludge and wrapping them in broad leaves he had plucked on his way over.
Gu Zheng had no intention of putting this foul sludge into his Storage Leaf and having its stench linger.
He wrapped them in the broad leaves and bound them with vines, one bundle after another.
After making a hundred bundles, Gu Zheng finally stopped. Carrying the sludge, he flew back toward Mutun County.
He first went to the ravine and delivered a large bundle of rotten sludge to each of the twenty-so people who were afflicted, burning in the Bosha Corpse Fire. The bundles descended from the sky with a SPLAT, burying the individuals in mud.
Just as he finished dropping the twenty-odd bundles of mud, Gu Zheng received a ssage from Mo Jiateng.
The Black Sheep Demon Race had been found!

WHOOSH!
Carrying the remaining bundles of mud, Gu Zheng unleashed a surge of Divine Wondrous and flew over at top speed.
When he found Mo Jiateng, the newly-promoted Super Body Seal Slave was overpowering a mber of the Black Sheep Demon Race.
Not far away, the corpses of two other mbers of the Black Sheep Demon Race lay on the ground.
Gu Zheng walked over slowly.
