After leaving the eting room, Jiang Chen thought for a mont and still arrived at the door of Cao Jinse’s office.

Jiang Chen said with a smile.
“Since when did you beco so courteous?” Cao Jinse looked at the man who had co next to her.

Without waiting for Jiang Chen to answer, she continued, “Do you really believe that goodness and evil will eventually be repaid?”
Jiang Chen didn’t respond imdiately and, still looking out at the city, smiled and said, “Pensive and sentintal isn’t your nature.”
“Then what’s my nature, like Aunt Lan, unmoved by external events and fearless of self-change?”
“She’s a Bodhisattva; we’re mortals, can’t be compared.”
Jiang Chen’s humor finally drew a slight arc to Cao Jinse’s lips, “There are many more cold-hearted people than Aunt Lan in this world.”
“I never said she was cold-hearted, that’s your words.” Jiang Chen imdiately clarified.
Cao Jinse didn’t argue, but from her expression, her mood seed to have improved a bit under his banter.
“Everyone’s power has limits, don’t think of yourself as immortal.”
Upon hearing this, Cao Jinse turned her head, and saw a peaceful side profile.
“What, are you addicted to being a teacher?”
She withdrew her gaze.
“No way, I don’t have such abilities; being able to do what I intend is enough to thank heaven and earth.”

“The incident of the undercover agent being hard?”
Jiang Chen said, “There are always risks in such work.”
