Chapter 1563: Chapter 1050: Thank You

Dongying Imperial Palace.

After taking nearly two months of leave, Koda Kaoru finally resud work, bringing her textbook along.

The textbook was placed on the circular stone table in the Imperial Garden.

Compared to an enclosed room, an open environnt undoubtedly makes one more relaxed and delighted; perhaps this is why little princess Ya Yi loves this Shenzhou culture class so much.

The cover of the textbook on the stone table was full of ancient charm, with color ink drawings of n and won in various decorations, lively and lifelike, with large characters printed beside them.

“Dream of the Red Chamber”.

That’s right.

Another classic masterpiece from Shenzhou.

However, judging by the thickness of the book, it should be a simplified version.

Planning to teach “Dream of the Red Chamber” after finishing “Journey to the West”?

But one must admit, as a literary treasure that has been passed down, understanding Shenzhou through these classics is indeed an effective shortcut.

“Teacher Xiang Tian, have you finished dealing with your matters?”

Diligent and eager to learn, Princess Ya Yi wasn’t in a hurry to open the new chapter of knowledge but instead expressed concern and greetings to her much-missed ntor.

“I let Princess worry.”

Koda Kaoru smiled slightly, not answering directly.

“Teacher Xiang Tian, if there’s any place you need help, you can tell .”

If it were a minor issue, it shouldn’t have taken this long; the astute Princess Ya Yi understood this, so she spoke tactfully.

“Thank you, Princess, let’s begin class.”

Choosing not to discuss her personal troubles, Koda Kaoru didn’t utilize the Princess’s affection for her private matters, surpassing many so-called Soul Engineers in this aspect.

Though never willing to admit verbally, Dongying’s body was quite honest, as not only the Imperial Family, but commoners too, highly appreciated Shenzhou culture. The Dream of the Red Chamber Koda Kaoru was reading was a Japanese edition, and Dongying’s television remade Journey to the West.

Indeed.

As once the Celestial Empire, Shenzhou ford an indelible deep influence on neighboring countries, with many Japanese characters derived from Han characters.

“Princess, like Journey to the West, Dream of the Red Chamber is one of Shenzhou’s four great classics, famous as the foremost literary treasure. This book narrates what kind of story – different ages, different mindsets, different people, different experiences reading it will generate different feelings. Just as there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people’s eyes, I can’t summarize it now; I believe once you finish reading it, you’ll have your own insights.”

Not carrying external emotions into the classroom, or perhaps the troubles really resolved, Koda Kaoru opened the book’s front page, her tone gentle and warm, “Today we will read the first chapter.”

The Journey to the West can be brushed aside.

It’s a fantasy tale.

But teaching a child under ten the Dream of the Red Chamber…

Considering even the Kingdom of Won made little princess Ya Yi deeply emotional, and the love stories in Dream of the Red Chamber are extraordinarily poignant and heart-wrenching.

The little princess naturally yet does not recognize the ill-fated Lin sister, sitting properly and listening intently.

“Mr. Fujiwara.”

At the garden’s archway, the maid saluted, her voice inevitably disrupting the teacher-student class.

Koda Kaoru, with her back to the garden entrance archway, instantly halted.

“Princess is indeed diligently studying; not even resting on the weekend today.”

Ya Yi politely stood up, “Mr. Fujiwara.”

Koda Kaoru put down the textbook in hand, not remaining seated unmoved, but stood up as well.

As she turned, Fujiwara Takuya was just three steps away.

“Presumably, this is Teacher Koda Kaoru, well-known indeed, nice to et you.”

With a broad smile, Fujiwara Takuya showed no trace of arrogance, speaking and stepping two more steps closer, until only one step away from Koda Kaoru, while extending his hand.

Little princess Ya Yi looked at her teacher, “Teacher Xiang Tian, this is Mr. Fujiwara Takuya, special advisor to the Ministry of Economy, vice president of the Tokyo Joint Enterprise Association.”

This little princess indeed showed maturity by picking two titles to highlight Fujiwara Takuya’s prominent position.

Fujiwara Takuya’s smile remained unchanged, his extended hand still suspended in mid-air.

eting eyes, Koda Kaoru raised her hand, “Mr. Fujiwara, nice to et you.”

The two hands clasped together.

Not lingering, Fujiwara Takuya quickly released his hand, “The last ti I ca, Prince Wataru Tetsuya ntioned Teacher Xiang Tian; His Highness speaks highly of you, both talented and beautiful.”

He looked down at the little princess Ya Yi beside him, then again at Koda Kaoru.

“I initially thought His Highness was biased, but upon eting you today, I realize His Highness’s words were true, Teacher Xiang Tian is indeed well-deserved.”

“Mr. Fujiwara, are you here to see my brother?”

Ya Yi interjected.

Fujiwara Takuya gave Koda Kaoru a aningful glance, then looked at the still childlike little princess, smilingly replied, “If I say I’m here to see Princess, would you believe it?”

In certain aspects, even with maturity, Ya Yi still lacked compared to adults, uncontrollably puzzled, montarily unsure how to respond.

“Haha, it was Prince Maruyama Tadashi who invited to co once.”

Fujiwara Takuya smiled in explanation.

“Oh, it’s Uncle.”

“Then Princess, continue your class, we can chat later.”

“Mr. Fujiwara, take care.”

Fujiwara Takuya turned around.

The maid saluted.

“Princess, let’s continue.”

The teacher and student returned to their seats.

“Princess, the howork for next week is to translate the first chapter we covered today into Chinese, okay?”

“Ya Yi will definitely do her best.”
