Lin Wan had already changed into casual clothes.
Sumr had arrived, and the weather was getting hotter. She knew what Lu Zheng loved the most and understood her own advantages.
Lin Wan wore a fitted beige dress that accentuated her curves, highlighting her slender waist, paired with white sandals studded with tiny diamonds, which further showed off her straight and long legs.
Standing at the door, holding her phone, she imagined Lu Zheng sitting in the taxi facing the frustration of traffic jams, and couldn’t help but laugh.
Then, she saw a figure turning the street corner in the distance, sprinting towards her at full speed.
Lin Wan laughed joyously, then decisively raised her phone to start recording.
A mont later, the figure arrived in front of her, Lin Wan’s smile blood like a flower as she walked leisurely to greet him.
However... was Lu Zheng not slowing down at all?
"What are you... Ah!"
Without slowing down, Lu Zheng embraced Lin Wan’s slender waist, spinning with her as he decelerated, lifting her legs off the ground, almost making her fly.
"What are you doing~"
Lin Wan touched the ground, gave Lu Zheng a playful smack, then glanced around, indeed noticing quite a few passersby paying attention.
"Kissing, hugging, lifting you high." Lu Zheng raised an eyebrow and smiled, "I saw you recording. Isn’t this for the mory?"
"Get lost, I don’t want it~"
Yet you’re so happy and sweet that your words don’t match your smile.
"I’ve reserved a table at Wangjiang Pavilion." Seeing Lin Wan put away her phone with a smile, Lu Zheng continued, "Six o’clock tonight, two hours from now."
"Let’s go shopping first." Lin Wan took Lu Zheng’s arm, "Just on the pedestrian street near Wangjiang Pavilion."

They drove directly to the underground parking lot of the comrcial area where Wangjiang Pavilion was located. Lu Zheng and Lin Wan first took a stroll on the nearby pedestrian street, bought Lu Zheng two short-sleeved shirts and a pair of running shoes, and a pair of jeans for Lin Wan, before leisurely arriving at Wangjiang Pavilion.
"Welco, good evening to both of you. Do you have a reservation?"
"Yes." Lu Zheng nodded, gave his surna, and was led to a window-side table.
"Please!"
Just after sitting down, two hot towels were presented, along with two glasses of cold tea.
"I must say, the service is really good." Lu Zheng remarked.
Lin Wan smirked as the two waiters smiled sincerely.
The service is certainly good, it’s all included in the price of the dishes.
After they wiped their hands, the waiters promptly took the towels and replaced them with exquisitely crafted, illustrated nus.
Lu Zheng picked up a nu, casually asking as he read, "It’s our first ti here, do you have any recomndations?"
"Sir, we have a set nu system. Do you have any preferences for your tastes?"
Lu Zheng opened the nu, discovering it was all various set als, including appetizers, soups, main courses, staples, and desserts.
There actually weren’t many set als, mostly swapping out appetizers and main courses.
Lu Zheng and Lin Wan ordered set als that differed significantly, planning to switch dishes later.
"That’s it." Lu Zheng returned the nu to the waiter.
"Alright, please wait a mont!" The waiter took the nu and retreated.
Seeing the waiter leave, Lin Wan picked up her phone and fiddled with it, then Lu Zheng’s phone dinged with a new ssage.
"What’s this?"
"It’s the brochure for the St. Miguel auction." Lin Wan smiled, "Take a look, there’s also a link to the auction items. You can check it out."
"Spain hasn’t reacted?"
"Of course, they protested, but the Florida governnt dismissed it." Lin Wan scoffed with a smile, "Then they just gave in, but supposedly they’ve urged all collectors worldwide not to attend this auction."
"Will it work?"
"Of course not, quite a few established museums and private collectors from Arica and Europe have already confird they’ll be participating."
"Additionally, so eager dia ranked the value of these treasures." At this point, Lin Wan’s eyes lit up, "Guess what the most valuable item among these treasures is?"
Lu Zheng raised an eyebrow, "The most valuable item is in my gourd."
After all, when they unearthed the treasure, they spent three days picking out the finest and most valuable items to keep as private collections.
"Take a good guess!" Lin Wan smiled brightly.
Lu Zheng raised his eyebrows, rubbed his chin, "Could it be that pair of golden earrings linked by a dozen red diamonds?"
"Wrong!"
"Then maybe that string of blue ocean? A necklace made up of dozens of blue diamonds of various sizes?"
"Wrong again!"
"What is it then?" Lu Zheng really couldn’t guess, "Those two pieces of jewelry have the most colorful diamonds and are worth the most?"
"It’s the crown." Lin Wan revealed the answer, "In the center is a red diamond, surrounded by three pink diamonds on the crown."
"Why?" Lu Zheng blinked, "That red diamond isn’t very large, the biggest one we’ve collected?"
"Because the crown was prepared by the Spanish king to wear at the coronation, and there’s an engraving of God’s blessing on the inside of the crown, so it has significant commorative value." Lin Wan explained, "It’s said that the Spanish Royal Family has discreetly commissioned a collector to participate in the auction."
"Saying no but really wanting it?"
Seeing Lu Zheng teasingly looking at her, Lin Wan blushed, her delicate eyes turned upward, and she "fiercely" glared at Lu Zheng.
"Good evening, here are the appetizers and soups, enjoy your al."
Two waiters approached with trays, placing two small dishes and a bowl of soup in front of Lu Zheng.

Lu Zheng and Lin Wan exchanged amused glances, not bothered, simply thanked the waiters, and picked up their chopsticks to start eating slowly.
"Western dining procedure, a blend of Chinese and Western dishes, both Chinese and Western cutlery, this truly is... a fusion of East and West..."
"It does have quite a ceremonial feel." Lu Zheng shook his head with a smile, "Appetizers, soups, main courses, staple foods, desserts, isn’t that just traditional cold dishes, palate-opening soups, hot dishes, staple foods, and after-al desserts?"
"Eat up~" Lin Wan picked up a piece of smoked fish and fed it to Lu Zheng.
"Awu!" Lu Zheng took a bite, "It’s good, not purely Western, with a hint of Su-style smoked fish flavor."
Given Lu Zheng’s culinary skills nowadays, earning his praise is no easy feat.
Lin Wan said, "It should be, after all, this is one of the top restaurants in Hai City, they can’t rely solely on environnt and service to deceive people."
Lu Zheng smiled slightly, also picked a shrimp ball, and offered it to Lin Wan, "Ah—"
Lin Wan’s lips curved upwards, her red lips parted slightly, extending her little fragrant tongue to gently wrap the shrimp ball into her mouth.
