The giant corpse was enveloped in Corpse Qi. Though naturally restrained by thunder, its profound cultivation allowed it to forcibly endure Lu Zheng's Taiyi Five Thunder Curse, still trying to advance toward Yi Xiaoqian.
Liu Qingyan wiped the blood from her mouth, her eyes sharpening. Reaching out, moonlight descended from the clear sky.

Lu Zheng, Shen Ying, and Yue Honghai also simultaneously froze, not knowing how the old monk got to the center of the City God Temple.

They knew very well that an ally had arrived.
