Lin Wan shook her head, "Let's not talk politics, get ready to act."
Lu Zheng nodded, at this point the warm-up session of the auction had ended, and a team of staff and security personnel ca to the vault to prepare to open it and move part of the collection to the venue.
As the staff opened the vault at that instant...
"Snap!"
Lu Zheng snapped his fingers, and the sound of continuous explosions erupted throughout the venue.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
"Ding-a-ling-a-ling..."
The entire building lost power, and fire alarms imdiately blared throughout, as smoke quickly filled every cara's view, raising the temperature and causing all infrared devices to fail.
...
In the venue, several exquisite trash cans suddenly exploded, and the fire soared, instantly engulfing the main hall. After a mont's shock, all the guests turned into a chaotic ss.
"There's an explosion!"
"Terrorist attack! Terrorist attack!"
"Run!"
Although no one was seen, everyone rushed towards the nearest ergency exit, but they found the main entrance was completely engulfed in flas.
"There are other ergency exits, just behind!"
Hundreds of people scrambled, quickly splitting into streams of people, darting around the venue to find safe exits.
...
Unlike the guests and ordinary staff at the venue, the security personnel were aware of the situation. As the explosions occurred, they imdiately ran towards the vault, although their pace was slowed by the chaotic crowds and flas alongside the sprinklers.
At the vault entrance, at the mont of the explosion, Lu Zheng seized the opportunity while everyone was distracted, and with the caras down, seemingly produced a barrel of fuel out of thin air and ignited it.
"Boom!"
The explosion echoed, flas soared high.
All the staff and security personnel instinctively dodged, hurrying towards the exits to escape.
Then, the two of them leisurely entered the vault, sweeping away all the collections.
"There are actually a few tracking devices. They have so little confidence in themselves?" Lu Zheng raised an eyebrow, then patted the gourd, extracting ten tracking devices and casually tossing them on the ground.
Lin Wan looked down, "It's actually the latest interference-proof detection products."
"Shall we go?" Lu Zheng asked.
Lin Wan nodded, "Let's go."
...
Upstairs, in the CIA command center.
At the mont of the explosion, the commander froze in shock, asking, "How did they plant so many bombs?"
"Report, caras can't see anything anymore!"
"Report, all infrared devices have failed!"
"Report, the venue is in chaos!"
"Report, the vault exploded, and security personnel have exited the vault area!"
"Send them back!" The commander's face twisted, "Those bastards are in the vault now! They don't have much ti!"
An agent turned around, incredulous, "But there was just an explosion there too?"
"The explosion wasn't intense, more flas and smoke. Do you think they'd burn themselves?" The commander shouted, "Fool, once the guests are evacuated, we can quickly restore order. How much ti do you think they have to transfer the collections?"
The commander cursed, then turned to another person, "Any anomalies in the ventilation ducts?"
"None!" Another agent hurriedly shook his head, "The detection equipnt in the ducts showed no response from start to finish, maybe they don't plan to escape via the ducts this ti?"
The commander's assistant said, "The scene is very chaotic. They should be planning to blend in with the crowd to leave."
"Get those security personnel back!" The commander shouted, "Where's our inside man among the waitstaff? Send them too!"
"We're approaching, almost near the vault." A frantic voice ca through the earpiece, "We've t returning security personnel and are heading back together."
"Spot any suspicious individuals, shoot them!" The commander shouted, "This is a terrorist attack now!"
"Yes, Sir!"
The response ca, and they led the group to the vault entrance.
At this ti, due to the overhead sprinklers constantly spraying, the flas and smoke at the entrance had mostly been extinguished, and everyone slled a strong scent of fuel.
"Is it gasoline?"
"It's gasoline! Damn, it's a Federal Petroleum standard barrel!" An agent picked up a shard of the barrel at his feet, with a clear Federal Petroleum logo printed on it.
"Damn it, all fuel? How did they smuggle it in?"
"Forget about it, let's check the vault first!" The captain hurriedly spoke, then waved and led a team, everyone carrying guns, cautiously approaching the vault's door, peeking inside.
"What's the situation!" The commander hurriedly asked.
"Report... uh... the items are gone..." The captain stared blankly at the empty vault.
"F**k! It was only f**king five minutes!" The commander shouted angrily.
His assistant looked at the ti, opened his mouth but said nothing, as seven minutes wasn't much longer than five.
The commander imdiately turned around, looking at an agent in the corner, "Get the trackers' location!"
Earlier, for safety, they placed trackers in ten of the hundreds of items, which turned out to be useful after all.
But the agent's face turned awkward, "The trackers' location hasn't changed."
The commander was bewildered, then the head of the task force in the vault spotted the casually tossed trackers on the ground, "I see the trackers."
"What?" The commander questioned, then saw the video from the captain.
Everyone: "..."
"They must have the most advanced detectors!" The assistant imdiately said.
He personally placed those ten trackers, ensuring they were extrely hidden, but to find them this quickly would require the most advanced detection gear.
But it was too late for that now, and the commander urgently said, "Surround the venue with all our personnel, control all leaving staff!"
"Yes!"
"Snipers in position, watch for any suspicious persons and vehicles!"
"Yes!"
"Monitor all departing vehicles, especially box trucks! Stop them all for inspection!"
"Yes!"
The commander snatched the earpiece, threw it violently on the table, and cursed loudly, "F**k!"
Just then, his phone rang, the assistant glanced at the caller, it was the major seller for this shipnt.
The assistant's gaze flicked montarily at his commander.
This major seller wasn't an ordinary person, although not as rich as so top-tier magnates, his status in the Elephant Faction wasn't low. Coupled with the heavy losses major sellers faced, the commander was in trouble this ti.
After all... underground auctions... don't have insurance...
