Liou Yuan greatly enjoyed his current state, throwing two more punches into the air before stopping.

After finishing his cultivation, Liou Yuan finally had the mind to recall the movents that had manifested during cultivation concerning his two Star Acupoints, thinking with surprise: "I didn’t expect that the two Star Acupoints could simultaneously assist in cultivating the Breathing Skill."

Liou Yuan had just entered the Cultivation World and was still in a sowhat ignorant phase.

His ability to cultivate smoothly was entirely thanks to Liou Zhen’s detailed explanations in the Five Mansions Star Gazing Breathing Skill.

Regarding Star Acupoints, he knew very little.

Liou Zhen hadn’t ntioned them either.

Thus, though he was puzzled, after pondering briefly with no answers, he had no choice but to temporarily set aside his curiosity.

"Regardless, this is ultimately good news."

The One-Star Water Acupoint is considered the lowest level of aptitude, and the Two-Star Gold Acupoint is only slightly better than the Water Acupoint.

Taken individually, they aren’t regarded as superior talents.

However, when the two Star Acupoints combine, their effect is indeed quite remarkable.

Liou Yuan didn’t know if his current aptitude could match those with Three-Star Talent.

But it was definitely better than all those with Two-Star Talent.

Just this was enough.

This filled Liou Yuan with confidence in the future cultivation of the Five Mansions Star Gazing Breathing Skill.

"This is only the first day of cultivation, and there’s already such a significant improvent, largely due to the combined effect of the two Star Acupoints."

"In a year’s ti, perhaps I might truly achieve the First Mansion Perfection."

The Five Mansions Star Gazing Breathing Skill consists of five levels, from the first mansion to the fifth.

When the first thread of Spiritual Power appears within the body, it’s formally stepping into the First Mansion.

According to Liou Zhen’s description in the Five Mansions Star Gazing Breathing Skill,

Normally, cultivating the sensation of Qi within six months is considered passing.

Cultivating the sensation after six months indicates poor aptitude.

Cultivating the sensation in three months is considered excellent aptitude.

Cultivating the sensation within a month is deed exceptional aptitude.

Liou Yuan set his own goal to cultivate the sensation of Qi within three months.

Thinking of this, Liou Yuan looked up towards Virgo Peak, standing under the starlight outside Yanhe City.

"The starlight here is too dim; once I’m done with things here, I still need to go to Virgo Peak to cultivate."

"There, the abundant starlight will definitely greatly enhance my cultivation speed."

"Moreover, the Fixed Star Compass needs to continue absorbing star power, achieving two things at once."

As for now, with the threat of Mrs. Li around, leaving the city hurriedly would be akin to seeking death.

With a plan in mind, Liou Yuan glanced back to the spot where he had been lying.

On the ground of the small courtyard was a clear human-shaped mark soaked through by his sweat.

Liou Yuan bowed his head and sniffed his clothes, the foul stench was overwhelming.

"Take a shower!" Liou Yuan strode into the house, making an imdiate decision to soak in a hot bath.

However, just as he took a step, not having entered the house yet,

Bang! A roar sounded from Mrs. Li’s courtyard next door, resounding far in the silent night.

Naturally, Liou Yuan heard it too.

His body paused, vaguely guessing a bit, briefly surprised before listening intently to the commotion next door.

Sure enough, he heard Luo Jie’s familiar voice.

The latter was exerting force and let out a booming shout: "Kill!"

"Already in action? So quickly?" Luo Jie’s voice confird Liou Yuan’s guess.

Where could he be concerned about bathing now, he quickly climbed towards the wall separating him from the neighbor.

The wall wasn’t high, only about a zhang tall, around three ters.

A normal person, with a little help from so tools, could climb it.

In his current good condition, Liou Yuan easily propelled himself onto the wall with a toe point.

Then he peeked his head from behind the wall, looking towards the courtyard next door.

In Ms. Qiao’s courtyard.

Three constables led by Luo Jie surrounded an elderly woman with withered white hair.

Her extraordinarily long hair trailed to the ground.

Covering her entire face, in the darkness, vague fierce lights could be seen emitting from her long hair.

The elderly woman seed forced out, under the illumination of the celestial starlight, her body felt like being plunged into boiling oil.

A constant sizzling sound ca from her.

Feeling the pain, the old woman let out inhuman shrieks.

"Roar!"

Trying by any ans to get back inside the house.

But surely Luo Jie and the others wouldn’t allow it.

"Don’t let her go back; without starlight weakening her power, we might not be able to handle her."

Bold and skilled, Luo Jie shouted loudly, advancing with a silver-ringed broadsword to engage the old woman.

The other two constables constrained the woman’s movents.

Though their skills weren’t comparable to Luo Jie, the weapons they wielded were extraordinary, forcing the old woman to evade, thus being fully restrained.

As Luo Jie advanced forcefully, he slashed the sword onto the woman’s shoulder.

The blade flashed, and Luo Jie, relying on his bloodlust, forcefully removed one of her arms.

Poof! Blood spattered.

Liou Yuan clearly saw the color of the blood splattering from the shriveled arm, and it wasn’t red.

Instead, it was as black as ink, emitting a strong putrid sll.

Even though Liou Yuan was on the high wall, a distance away, he could still sll it.

This was obviously not a sll a living person should have, and Liou Yuan knew what it represented: "Ms. Qiao, she really is dead."

As Liou Yuan sighed at this, a crippled old man’s figure suddenly rushed out from outside the gate.

Despite being la, his speed was not slow at all.

Seizing the mont when Luo Jie severed Ms. Qiao’s arm,

he held sothing that looked like a brush, closed in on her, and aid at Ms. Qiao’s forehead.

Ms. Qiao sensed a great sense of crisis.

Her full head of white hair stood on end, turning into weapons like silver needles, trying to block the crippled old man.

The crippled old man wasn’t one to be trifled with either.

This strike was clearly well-prepared.

Facing the dense attack of hair in front, the crippled old man roared with full breath: "Die!"

Clang! The brush in his hand suddenly shone with a brilliant white light.

Shattering all the hair as hard as steel needles that blocked the way.

The tip of the brush also landed on Ms. Qiao’s forehead.

Bang!

Her head exploded like a waterlon.

"A cultivator?" Liou Yuan squinted his eyes. Witnessing this magical scene, not only was he not surprised, but he also showed great interest.

It’s impossible for Yanhe City to not have cultivators, otherwise, this city wouldn’t have been able to stand for a thousand years.

So, the identity of the crippled old man was not surprising to Liou Yuan.

On the contrary, he was very interested in his thods.

"A brush has such great power."

The strike that blasted Ms. Qiao’s head clearly consud a lot of the old man’s strength.

His wrinkled face was pale as paper, and even the hand holding the brush was trembling, clearly unable to make a second attack.

What chilled Liou Yuan to the bone was that after losing its head, Ms. Qiao’s body still didn’t fall.

Fortunately, the old man was not alone.

After his successful strike, Luo Jie and the other two constables took the opportunity to attack together, hacking at Ms. Qiao’s headless body.

They directly dismbered her limbs.

The standing Ms. Qiao finally fell silent, leaving a ss of shattered limbs on the ground.

The remnants were quickly purified under the starlight, emitting black smoke.

"Even decapitation doesn’t work?"

Liou Yuan, like a curious student, watched as Luo Jie and the others dealt with Ms. Qiao’s body, showing a thoughtful expression.

After eliminating Ms. Qiao, Luo Jie and the four others breathed a sigh of relief.

Luo Jie especially, carrying the silver-ringed saber on his shoulder, let out a hearty laugh: "It’s still Mr. Ge’s skill that’s impressive. I love acting with Mr. Ge the most; it gives the thrill of cutting people when slashing these ghostly things."

In return, he got a warning glance from Mr. Ge.

Had that strike not consud so much of his strength, Mr. Ge might have scolded him again.

"Heh heh!" Luo Jie, understanding the look, quickly stopped laughing at Mr. Ge’s glance.

Perhaps to cover his embarrassnt, Luo Jie shifted his gaze toward the house.

There, a small child’s figure was hidden in the darkness under the eaves, with a blank face watching the scene of Ms. Qiao’s being killed.

Seemingly over-frightened, he didn’t make a single sound.

Luo Jie recognized him as Ms. Qiao’s grandson, Ping’an.

"This kid is rather pitiful too." Seeing Ping’an’s expression, Luo Jie thought he was frightened and felt so compassion.

After sighing, he took big strides toward Ping’an.

Behind him, Mr. Ge showed a thoughtful expression as he looked at Ping’an.

Liou Yuan, on the wall, wore the sa expression as Mr. Ge.

"Sothing’s wrong!" Liou Yuan muttered softly, lying on the high wall, looking toward where Ping’an stood.

That place was just shadowed by the eaves, blocking the starlight.

Ping’an never left that area from start to finish.

Liou Yuan’s mind involuntarily recalled the mont earlier tonight when Ping’an greeted him on his way ho.

He hadn’t paid attention at that ti.

Thinking back now, Ping’an’s body had been hiding under the door eaves above the door panel, seeming to avoid sothing.

Given Ping’an’s current position, Liou Yuan’s eyes suddenly widened in realization.

"No!" Liou Yuan shouted toward Luo Jie, who was less than a ter away from Ping’an.

Mr. Ge did the sa action, both speaking in unison.

"Get back!!!"

But it was too late; Luo Jie was too close and was already within a ter of Ping’an when they shouted.

Ping’an, who had appeared stunned just monts before, now flashed a vicious look; the next mont, his mouth opened wide, revealing sharp fangs, grotesque and vicious.
