Li Xin furrowed his brow, feeling sowhat uneasy. Such sights of Snake Skin and the drunk were an old occurrence to the experienced Shadow Owl, already took them for granted.

"Who killed you?" Li Xin asked.
The woman’s soul hesitated for a while, looking at the male corpse lying on the ground.
"Who killed those two?"
The woman’s soul shook her head in bewildernt, which ant she concluded after her death, the Harvester must have appeared.
"Do you have any wishes?" Li Xin asked.
The woman’s soul was sowhat bewildered, suddenly showing panic, "I don’t want to die."
But after answering the question, the soul slowly dissipated.
"Li Yinxiao, my paper cranes will trace the origins of these three won, though it likely will not be significant. Harvester must have known their souls were not providing useful intelligence."
Despite this, the souls of the other two won were also extracted. "Bring them all back to the Shadow Owl for Old Tuo to investigate," Li Xin said.

The bodies were transported back to the Shadow Owl; Old Tuo conducted an examination. Lighting a cigarette, leaning against the wall, Li Xin always felt he hadn’t grasped the key point. Harvester killing for the sake of harvesting went unnoticed for so long, showing Harvester’s strength to be exceptionally high, beyond the reach Night Patrol could apprehend. Hidden Powers are unfair like that, strong overpowering the weak.
Amidst the swirling smoke, Li Xin’s mind raced. His approach of seeking evidence on the deceased was blocked, judging by Old Tuo’s deanor, new findings seed impossible, making it harder to preemptively apprehend the murderer.
Unless...create the murderer?
Though the murderer was small in stature and highly skilled, seemingly working alone, suggesting he couldn’t have known the acts beforehand. But how did he discover them?
Rattle.

Li Xin’s heart raced; this plan was feasible, Harvester likely couldn’t resist, he wasn’t picky.
With this idea, Li Xin was inspired. Harvester’s actions in terms of timing and locations weren’t entirely without trace, records were comprehensive, using the most straightforward thods from the previous life, compiling lists, seeking similarities.
Li Xin promptly returned to the mortuary, encountering ng Po at the door, even for an experienced Night Patrol like ng Po, feeling disgusted, recognizing that the role of a coroner really isn’t suited for ordinary dispositions.
"Anything found?"
ng Po shook her head, "Sa as before, very clean. If it wasn’t for such thods, Harvester would have been captured long ago."
"Sister ng, I need your help, to examine archives together," Li Xin said.
ng Po paused, "Haven’t you already reviewed the archives multiple tis?"
"I’ve made a new discovery; working together will expedite this. Do we have a map of Dragon Capital here?"
"We do," ng Po nodded. Personal possession of the Dragon Capital map isn’t permitted, but the city guard and Night Patrol have access.
The two proceeded to the archives room, with ng Po locating the scene of each file, and Li Xin recording them, marking them on the map.
After a while of busy work, the cri scenes marked in red erged on the map, and with a re glance from Li Xin, the fog lifted at once.
The people in this world rely too heavily on Hidden Powers, upon arriving he did as well, always seeking connections for judgnt, of course, abilities are indeed useful. Yet, sotis a sudden change of perspective yields different results.
