The Mountain Fire Blade Soul is a product summoned by the Demon Soldier·Mountain Fire Saber through activation of an array.
It was more like a manifestation of the Mountain Fire Saber’s will—rage!
As a minion, the Blade Soul was responsible for helping the Mountain Fire Saber clear out all living beings within its territory, and this group of human riffraff hiding underground were, of course, also its targets for slaughter.
The Blade Soul was over a ter long, its entire form pieced together from Fire Demon Breath, fiery red and translucent, with layers of fierce flas burning atop its blade, crackling with every swing.
"Careful." Lin Chuan spoke, and the five-person group, himself included, spread out, making way for the three newbies behind them.
The Mountain Fire Blade Soul paid them no mind, charging toward whichever nearby life-form it could find.
The man at the very front retreated repeatedly, swinging his great saber forward viciously!
"Clang!" Weapons collided with a heavy crash, and both man and blade slid backwards a good five or six ters.
The Blade Soul’s strength was clear to see!
"Go! Xiaoyan, target the Blade Soul, use Spark Splash!" Du Yu shouted his order, his hands swiftly drawing bow and nocking arrow.
"Ying!" Xiaoyan leapt from Li ngnan’s arms, landing on Du Yu’s shoulder, a fireball already gathering in front of her face.
Lin Chuan couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow—Xiaowei’s classmates were all clearly Demon Tar Journeyn, but Du Yu’s Demon Pet...
"Ying!"
A sizable fireball shot straight out, while the Mountain Fire Blade Soul, displaying surprising spiritual acuity, dodged—could it really do that?
The flas burning on its blade carved a fiery trail across midair, tracing the path of its evasive maneuver.
"Bang!"
The fireball slamd into the ground, sending waves of heat surging outward.
Lin Chuan couldn’t help but give Xiaoyan a few more glances—what a fine Heterochromatic Demon Pet, truly well trained!
With such output for Spark Splash, it could at least rate Glory Gold!
So perhaps... these kids could not only broaden their horizons here, maybe they really could level up as well?
"Whoosh~" Just as Lin Chuan watched, Du Yu rapidly fired a Fire Arrow.
The Spark Splash hadn’t caught the Blade Soul, but the Fire Arrow was precise to an extre, striking the blade’s slender edge dead on!
The Mountain Fire Saber jerked slightly backwards—a re half-inch at most.
The scene was a little hard to watch, but for Lin Chuan, Du Yu’s opening moves already demonstrated his true strength.
Even during Rapid Fire, an arrow managed to strike the blade directly...
This kid’s aim was sothing else!
Since he’s a direct disciple under Master Qing, no way this was just luck!
The Mountain Fire Blade Soul, repeatedly provoked, finally changed target, charging straight at Du Yu.
"Work together! Coordinate!" Lin Chuan grew excited, clapping and rallying the three rookies to fight as a team.
As soon as he finished speaking, Xiaoyan’s Spark Splash fired again.
But this ti, the Blade Soul didn’t dodge—instead, it hacked fiercely forward!
"Boom!"
Sparks flew as air currents exploded!
The Mountain Fire Blade Soul was blasted back five or six ters, spinning through the air and drawing circles of fire as it went.
"Wooo~!" Xiaoyan raised her little head proudly with a clear, lodious Fox Cry.
"Buzz!" The Blade Soul vibrated violently, the exposed hilt outside the flas blinking on and off.
It seed to have taken so real damage, sending its fury soaring!
"Back! Du Yu!" Lin Shiwei cried out in alarm, the Rose Double Spirit on her shoulder sending vines darting toward the spot where the fireball exploded.
In sight, after regaining its footing, the Mountain Fire Blade Soul fixed its blade on Du Yu and shot forward at high speed, not even caring about the exploding fireball.
"Snap!" The burning Rose Vine cut in to intercept. It aid to snare the blade, but was a step too late; by a twist of fate, the Flower Vine ended up binding to the hilt instead.
"Mmm~" The Rose Double Spirit shut all four eyes, one vine wrapping around Lin Shiwei’s waist, the other straining to draw the hilt back.
But in its rage, the Mountain Fire Blade Soul’s power was overwhelming, dragging the Rose Double Spirit—vines and Lin Shiwei included—all toward Du Yu.
"Spark Splash, again!"
"Little Wind Blade!" As Du Yu backed away, Li ngnan rushed forward, her longsword flashing with a fierce edge.
As she passed Du Yu, a pitch-black ’Ice Cream Cone’ just ford in her hand, greenish fire flickering ghostly on it.
"Cover ." Du Yu loosed a flurry of arrows, contracting with Little You Ying. "Stay alert, the enemy’s strong."
"Whoosh!" The Mountain Fire Blade Soul was truly enraged—the flas on its blade shot up more than half a ter, its presence imposing.
The Little Wind Blade was whatever, but that damned fireball?
No way he wanted to be blasted again!
Facing yet another incoming Spark Splash, the Blade Soul suddenly changed course, giving up on Du Yu and charging straight for Lin Shiwei instead.
Was it showing a bit of bully-the-weak cowardice?
"Thud! Thud! Thud!" Lin Shiwei stumbled backwards, feet stamping on the ground. She’d just been in a ’tug-of-war’, when the opponent suddenly released strength?
The Rose Double Spirit reacted instantly—the vine binding the hilt switched from desperately hauling in, to flinging out with all its might.
"Hiss!" Fla Soul Imprisonnt burst from behind Lin Shiwei. It stretched out both arms, bracing against the ground, striving to help its master stand firm.
The Fla Soul Imprisonnt succeeded, but the Rose Double Spirit failed.
The Flower Vine was no match for the Mountain Fire Blade Soul’s might—no matter how the Rose Double Spirit tried to stop it, the Blade Soul still rocketed forward.
"Thud!" Lin Shiwei stomped down, finally steadying herself. The Finger Tiger on her fist blazed with burning flas, her beautiful eyes sharp as a blade, swinging a fierce punch right at the Mountain Fire Blade Soul!
