Upon hearing what Qin Yun said, Qin Xiaotao initially had a smile on his face, but it quickly vanished, and his expression turned extrely pale with disbelief in his eyes.
"Yun, I have sothing to do, I need to leave first."
After Qin Yun finished speaking, he stood up, said this, and quickly walked out of the private room.
Qin Yun watched him leave without saying anything. He knew Qin Xiaotao was definitely going to find Hu Shanshan.

Qin Xiaotao found it unbelievable. According to Qin Yun, Hu Shanshan had secretly gone to have a date with another man. His first reaction was whether Qin Yun was deceiving him or not.
But in less than a second, he dismissed this thought. Qin Yun couldn’t possibly lie to him, and he had no reason to deceive him either.
The main issue was that he simply couldn’t bring himself to believe this matter.
Because he had been drinking, Qin Xiaotao couldn’t drive, so he called a cab and quickly arrived at Hu Shanshan’s place.
"Hey! You haven’t paid yet!!"
Just then, a bit disoriented, he got out of the car, ready to head towards the residential complex, but the driver’s voice suddenly pulled him back to reality.

Qin Xiaotao quickly apologized, paid the fare with his phone, and then went to the building downstairs.
He wanted to go up, but stopped in his tracks.
Opening WeChat, he looked at the pinned na and sent a ssage over.
"Shanshan, are you asleep?"
The ssage was sent, but there was no reply.
Qin Xiaotao knew that Hu Shanshan usually went to sleep around 11:30 and turned off her phone when she slept.
Not receiving a response, he didn’t go up, but stood silently for a while before walking out of the complex.
The ti was already nearing late February, with just over ten days until early March, and the temperature was slowly rising. However, the night was still cold, biting through the bones, and though the cold wind blew against Qin Xiaotao, he couldn’t feel it.

"Young man, what are you doing sitting here in this cold night?"
Beside him was a breakfast shop, the other shops were already closed, but this breakfast shop had started its preparation work.
A sixty-year-old man in the breakfast shop saw Qin Xiaotao sitting on the stairs and couldn’t help but call out.
Hearing the words, Qin Xiaotao looked over at him.
"It’s cold outside, co in and sit."
The old man warmly invited Qin Xiaotao to co inside the shop.
Qin Xiaotao nodded and walked into the shop.
"Young man, is there sothing troubling you? Would you like to talk about it? Maybe I can help." The old man said cheerfully.
As he spoke, his hands were busy preparing breakfast.
Qin Xiaotao didn’t say anything, but the old man didn’t mind at all and continued talking to himself, "You young folks, the only troubles you probably have are about love. If you ask , these things are nothing significant. Go ho, get a good night’s sleep, and you’ll probably forget all about it."
"You old man, what nonsense are you talking?"
Just then, an old woman walked in from the back of the breakfast shop, saying, "Back then, you ran all the way to be with , crying and making a scene at my house. It was so embarrassing, I didn’t dare to go out for days. Why didn’t you just go ho and sleep it off then? Why co to my house?"
"Haha, I was afraid you’d run off with soone else."
The old man chuckled, "If I hadn’t co, Old Li from the village would’ve ended up spending a lifeti with you."
"What could I do?"
The old woman complained, "Your ho was so far away, my parents didn’t want to marry far, forcing to et Old Li. I should’ve stayed with Old Li, now I have to suffer with this old fool every day, and those brats give headaches continually."
"Haha, you’ll never be able to leave and the kids in this lifeti." Hearing the old woman’s complaints, the old man didn’t care at all, instead, he spoke with a bit of pride.

Many people get forced into blind dates by their families, and it was very likely that was the case with Hu Shanshan. He would rather believe this was the situation.
"The house will be available for viewing tomorrow. I’ll tell Shanshan and take her to see it. She’ll definitely be happy, and I can give her so security."
Qin Xiaotao envisioned this.

Seeing this ssage, Qin Xiaotao went downstairs to buy breakfast and waited outside the apartnt.

Qin Xiaotao knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" A crisp voice from inside, belonging to Zhou Yue, called out.
"It’s , Qin Xiaotao," Qin Xiaotao replied.
Instantly, Zhou Yue’s voice echoed again, "Sis, brother-in-law is here."
Subsequently, the door opened, and Zhou Yue said with a surprised face, "Brother-in-law, why are you here so early?"
She was brushing her teeth, with foam still in her mouth, and Hu Shanshan had also just gotten up.
"Brought you both breakfast," Qin Xiaotao smiled and said.
"Xiaotao."
At that mont, Hu Shanshan wore a face full of bewildernt.
"Shanshan, I’ll go first. Once you’ve finished eating, I’ll co back." After delivering the breakfast, looking at Hu Shanshan, Qin Xiaotao said.
Hu Shanshan asked what Qin Xiaotao was doing there so early, but he didn’t say, ntioning he would tell her later.
After dealing with things at ho, Hu Shanshan finally ca out.
"Xiaotao, can you tell now?" Hu Shanshan asked.
Qin Xiaotao nodded, grinning, "Shanshan, I want to take you sowhere."
He led a puzzled Hu Shanshan to Zhongliang Tiger Platform, and arriving there, Hu Shanshan suddenly understood, her deanor becoming a lot more silent.
"Shanshan, I’ve decided to make a down paynt on a house here at Zhongliang Tiger Platform, with your na on it," Qin Xiaotao said with a smile.
