The more Cheng Daxiong scrolled through the comnts, the more confident he felt.
He thought for a mont, then gritted his teeth.
"Damn it, if I don’t buy now when it’s dropping, am I supposed to wait until it rises to buy? At worst, all my profits will vanish, and I’ll just sell everything then!" Cheng Daxiong gritted his teeth and took out another loan of one hundred thousand, starting to increase his position.
With a position of four hundred thousand, he previously lost ten thousand. Adding tonight’s profit update, his principal should be four hundred and eighty thousand.
Now he added another one hundred thousand, which ans Cheng Daxiong has four hundred and eighty thousand! Of which, twenty thousand are profits!
Soon Thursday arrived, and on this day the A-shares market had little change, with small rises and falls, leaving Cheng Daxiong with only a little over one hundred in profit on his four hundred and eighty thousand.
In the blink of an eye, it was Friday!
And on this day, starting at half-past nine in the morning, the entire A-shares market plunged, even dropping more than three points by ten o’clock!
According to his calculations, Cheng Daxiong’s twenty thousand profit might entirely disappear!
He felt uneasy, regretting adding to his position yesterday, hoping for a reverse in the afternoon.
However, the afternoon turnaround did not happen. Instead, the A-shares market continued to plunge, even dropping over five points!
The funds he had bought had losses ranging from six to eight points!
Black Friday had arrived, reminiscent of the day when SMIC went public back then.
Cheng Daxiong was a bit afraid to look at his phone, as each refresh increased the points lost.
He was utterly frightened, estimating roughly that he would lose more than thirty-five thousand today!
Losing thirty-five thousand in one day? What kind of concept is that?
Not only would he lose all his twenty-thousand profit, but he would even have to cover an extra fifteen thousand!
The comnts section was full of curses.
"Damn, with such a big drop, I sold it!"
"Are you stupid? It’s dropped so much, why sell? It will rise after it hits the bottom!"
"I’ve already uninstalled Alipay, I’ll check again in a few months! As long as I don’t sell, I won’t lose."
Cheng Daxiong considered selling all his funds but ultimately hesitated.
Just as he saw in the comnts section.
If it’s already dropped so much, if it rebounds next Monday, wouldn’t selling now result in a complete loss?
As long as it isn’t sold, the lost money is just a number.
His previous thought of selling at a loss wavered as Cheng Daxiong continued to grit his teeth and persevere.
He now deeply regretted not listening to Zhao Kanghao and others. If he hadn’t bought the funds, he wouldn’t have lost the money.
But now it was too late for regrets.
Cheng Daxiong held on, waiting for a recovery, thinking that once he recovered his loss, he would sell everything and never touch funds again.
However, the entire September did not develop as he had hoped, with the A-shares market continuing a plumting trend, occurring every few days. Under Cheng Daxiong’s persistence in losses, his finances continued to dwindle.
By the end of September, the fifty thousand he had taken out on loan had shrunk to thirty-five thousand, losing fifteen thousand.
...
October 1st, Wan Province, Wu City, Qingwu County.
In Jinling, Qin Yun stayed until the end of September, then returned to Wan Province, visiting Xuan City, Wu City, and others to check on the stores to be opened, while also setting up the Wealth Gathering Array in advance.
After setting up, he was also ready to go ho for a visit.
Counting the ti, it had been several months since he last went ho.
Qin Family Village is on a small town in Qingwu County, and in this small town, there is a vegetable market where the Qin Family Village often cos to shop.
Not only Qin Family Village, but people from other villages in Qingwu County also co to this vegetable market for shopping.
The vegetable market used to be open-air with so makeshift canopies set up by the vendors themselves.
But two years ago, the whole vegetable market was much more regulated, with large canopies built.
At this ti, it was nearing noon, and there were not many people inside the market.
Generally, the market is busiest in the morning.
Qin Yun was driving, glancing over in this direction.
When he was young and his family was poor, his favorite thing was to follow his parents to the market, sotis getting to buy two at buns to eat.
Back then, at buns were a luxury for Qin Yun, sothing the family couldn’t afford to buy.
In fact, the entire Qin Family Village was very poor, including Qin Yun’s family, his uncle’s family, his younger uncle’s family, and others.
Those with a little savings hurried to make down paynts on houses during the years when housing prices were skyrocketing, leaving little money at ho.
"Huh?"
After a glance, Qin Yun’s eyes suddenly narrowed slightly.
He parked sowhere and quickly made his way outside the market, where a dispute was occurring.
Several people surrounded the area.
There were two baskets filled with waterlons, sold by a girl who seed to be only fifteen or sixteen.
"Young girl, you have to be reasonable. I didn’t eat your lon. Now give my money back," said a middle-aged woman.
Her voice was loud, holding two slices of waterlon wrapped in plastic wrap.
The girl selling waterlons seed on the verge of tears. She was thin and small, her hair tied casually with a string, with so dust on it, looking weak and helpless.
She clearly couldn’t argue against the middle-aged woman and eventually agreed to refund the money.
By the ti Qin Yun arrived, the girl handed so money to the middle-aged woman and took back the two slices of waterlon, at which point the woman left. The girl stood there dazed.
"Xiaoyin."
At this mont, a voice suddenly rang out, and Qin Yun spoke directly.
The girl’s na was Qin Xiaoyin, from their Qin Family Village. In fact, most of the people in Qin Family Village shared the surna Qin, with so having familial ties and others being distantly related.
Qin Xiaoyin was classmates with his cousin, Qin Xiaoqi, and before moving to the new rural community, the children of the village played together.
Qin Xiaoyin once followed him around, calling him Brother Qin Yun, closer than to her own brother.
Hearing soone call her, Qin Xiaoyin looked over, showing delight, and said, "Brother Qin Yun."
Qin Yun walked over and asked, "What happened just now?"
He had seen the dispute while on the road, so he ca over to take a look.
Qin Xiaoyin, looking at Qin Yun, hesitated slightly before explaining the situation.
It turned out the middle-aged woman had co to buy a waterlon to eat at ho. But after cutting it open at ho, she discovered the waterlon had a sandy interior.
In the middle of the waterlon, there was a crack several centiters wide, seemingly overripe.
The woman’s family didn’t eat sandy waterlons, so she brought the cut waterlon back for a refund.
But once the waterlon was cut, it couldn’t be resold.
So there was so dispute, and Qin Xiaoyin ended up refunding the woman.
