"So many unnecessary words? Do you still want to have your al today? Did we bring you here for a reunion?" Zhang nglong looked at the conversation between the Demon Emperor and the dragon, feeling sowhat impatient.
"Demon Emperor, I'm sorry!" The dragon said its last words and imdiately spewed a mouthful of black flas towards the Demon Emperor.
The Demon Emperor knew that the dragon, once his long-ti companion, had been completely turned by the Humans. Now, the dragon was no longer an ally but an enemy!
"The dog-eat-dog show is about to begin!" Zhang nglong pulled Drake and the group of human warriors to a distance.
"Hahaha, fight! Kill him!"
"That damned Demon Emperor, having killed so many of us Humans, simply killing him is too easy on him!"

The dragon clearly didn't hold back. After all, the contract it established with Drake ant that any thought it had couldn't escape Drake's control. As soon as it had any intention of slacking off, Drake would sense it imdiately.
Being wiped out is a minor issue, but missing out on delicious food is truly the worst thing!
Thinking this, all notions of friendship, fighting side by side, or loyalty were thrown out of the dragon's mind as it launched a fierce attack on the Demon Emperor.
It darted around the sky like a nimble teor, and with every dive, it tore a piece of flesh from the Demon Emperor. Ordinary Humans couldn't kill the Demon Emperor this easily, but this kind of Demon Clan has ways to kill its own — by using "Paratrooper One" on its body to directly devour the opponent!
You'd know that after this period of recovery, plus Zhang nglong's generous assistance, the dragon's physique had almost returned to its peak level before it was sealed!
If it were to rely on its own ability to recover leisurely, it might take hundreds of years. This was the capability of Zhang nglong!
The flesh and energy ripped from the Demon Emperor was directly devoured by the dragon. In this battle of attrition, the Demon Emperor was steadily beaten into retreat; its size had shrunk by nearly two-thirds, losing all its previous arrogance and dominance.

"He's burning his own life!" Drake said.
Through interactions with the dragon, Drake also learned much about the Demon Clan. When faced with desperation, they would burn their own lives in exchange for power. This burning is uncontrollable, aning once it starts, it can't be stopped, inevitably leading to demise.
However, according to him, people of the Demon Clan greatly cherished their lives, or rather, calling them a cowardly bunch isn't far off. To make such a choice would really be a desperate last stand.
"No, why do I find it odd?" Zhang nglong said, "If it were you, what would you do after burning your life energy?"
"Of course, I would annihilate my enemies," Drake replied without a second thought.
"Exactly, why hasn't he acted?" Drake suddenly realized it too. The Demon Emperor's aura had reached about a third of its peak, but so far, nothing has happened, as if he was just venting his emotions.
"His power seems to be diminishing!" Zhang nglong noticed, "Do these Demon Clan really have such poor stamina?"
"It shouldn't be," Drake said, "It's very strange. From what I know, once the Demon Clan starts burning their life, they can fight tirelessly like a killing machine for several hours or even a day. It's only been a few seconds?"
At this mont, Drake received a notification from other regions.
"Human Emperor, we've got trouble; the Demon Emperor's seal is starting to loosen, and the formation is about to collapse!"
"Human Emperor, sothing seems to be attacking the seal from the inside. We suspect the Demon Emperor has awakened because it seems this seal won't hold much longer!"

"Hold on, everyone hold on!" Sweat covered Drake's forehead.
What's going on? These Demon Emperors seem to have planned it out, simultaneously starting to break the seals. But where did they get the strength, and why so coordinated!
Even if Zhang nglong and the dragon had the ability to slay a Demon Emperor, these seals are scattered across the world. Here and there, with just a few of them, how's it possible to take down all these Demon Emperors in a short ti?
"Did you do sothing?" Zhang nglong's gaze locked onto the Demon Emperor again.
"Hahaha, you've finally figured it out," the Demon Emperor grimaced with a laugh, "since you've forced to a dead end, I'm more than willing to create so trouble for you before I die. I've shared the power of burning life with other sealed comrades. Before my life burns out, their power can be greatly restored, and these unstable seals can no longer restrain them!"

"Human, I admit, our previous invasion was sowhat careless, but this ti we won't make the sa stupid mistake again. This ti we will directly open the gates of the Demon Clan and send all demon warriors to attack, and the Demon Lord will personally lead the charge. By then, you Humans will face destruction!"
The Demon Emperor's power had nearly burned to its limit. In the black flas, its body began to turn translucent before disappearing completely, but its purpose had been achieved. The Demon Emperor, with so regained strength, had broken the seal; the Demon Clan had returned!
