"Who else is a useless wretch?"
Although the butler was just a servant, he wasn't afraid of Gu Xiao at all. Not only was Gu Xiao useless without any skills, but even if he reported to the Clan Leader, it would only result in mild punishnt at worst. After all, he was under the Third Master's patronage, so the Clan Leader had to give him so face.
As long as he didn't go too far, he was utterly fearless. Even though it was a verbal insult, not only he, but many servants dared to say such things.
Yet he found it very strange: was this really the sa Gu Xiao who just used to tolerate everything?
Gu Xiao's cowardice was well-known because he was fully aware that his resistance would be aningless. His father doted on him, but as a Guardian, most of his ti was spent away from the family, and the other elders in the family turned a blind eye to his situation.
Thus, Gu Xiao simply wished to settle disputes quietly, thinking a few curses wouldn't hurt him. But his cowardice caused many people to ride roughshod over him.
The present Gu Xiao seed like a completely different person compared to the one he once knew!
Gu Xiao walked to the table, glanced at the bland soup in the bowl, and without hesitation, knocked the food to the ground.
"You're a damn dog of a servant! Giving such stuff to eat? Even dogs would shake their heads at this. You think I'm only fit to eat this kind of thing?"
"Also, don't you know I just had an accident? Didn't you see sleeping? Kicking open the door scared . Don't you know I have a temper when waking up?"
"Who are you staring at so fiercely, huh? Want to hit ? If you're so tough, beat to death then! Let's see if my dad will handle you then!"
The Gu Xiao in front of him fired words like a machine gun, so much so that the butler forgot to be angry. Was this really Gu Xiao, the useless one, or the eldest son of the household's most temperantal Second Master?
"What are you standing there for? I'm hungry. Go quickly and get braised ribs, mildly spicy, with potatoes boiled soft, and a cup of muddy bubble tea, half sugar, no ice, with Pearl and wild berries. Hurry up!"
The butler's expression froze like ti had stopped, maintaining a still state. He slapped himself to feel pain and realized he wasn't dreaming; sohow the useless brat had indeed hit his head today.
"What are you standing there for? Aren't you going?" Gu Xiao glanced at the food remnants on the floor, "Find soone to clean this up."
"Ha ha ha," the butler suddenly laughed, "although I don't know which corner of your brain you knocked, you'd better rember you're just a nominal young master. In my eyes, you're nothing!"
"Since you've turned over your own supper, don't expect to eat today. Master just went with the other Guardians to handle a rebellion and won't return for three to five months. If you're hoping to ask Master for help, you won't get a chance."
With that said, the butler actually walked over to the spilled food and stomped twice, leaving two dirty footprints. "This is your supper today, eat it or not, see if you think you're a real young master!"
After finishing, the butler prepared to leave. Though he had the urge to rip Gu Xiao's head off, he was only a butler after all, needing to mind his limits.
Bam!
The door suddenly slamd, nearly hitting the butler's face.
He turned his head, looking at Zhang nglong with disbelief.
"Did I say you could leave?"
"You..."
The butler wasn't an ordinary person. His Life Levels might not be perfect, but they weren't far off. Due to the abundance of Spiritual Energy in this world, he wasn't much weaker than a Level One perfect human in the human world.
Just now, he felt quite a powerful soul wave!
Though Gu Xiao's body was weak like a skinny dog, Zhang nglong's Soul Power was at a Level Six perfect creature level, far stronger than the butler.
He turned around and stared at Zhang nglong incredulously. How could such level Soul Power appear with him? Even the most outstanding young family mbers could hardly compare to such mighty spiritual power.
Gu Xiao smiled as he walked towards the butler, "I'm still a young master of the Gu Family; dealing with a re servant shouldn't be a problem, right?"
For the first ti, the butler sensed such murderous intent from the useless young master. It seed he truly wanted to kill.
He instinctively prepared to resist, but then he noticed the overwhelmingly strong Soul Power was tightly binding his body. Not even slight movent was possible, and breathing beca exceedingly difficult.
"You... you..." The butler looked at Gu Xiao, his face reddened but almost unable to speak. He couldn't fathom how this useless young master suddenly possessed such mighty soul strength.
"Relax, I've wrapped this entire room with Soul Power; no one will know!"
"You can't kill !" The butler finally felt fear from the depths of his soul, "If you kill , the Third Master won't spare you."
"Oh, really?" Gu Xiao chuckled, "I am just a talentless waste, how could anyone suspect ? I'll just claim you suddenly fell ill and died mysteriously, won't that do?"
Suddenly, a slowly rotating Magatama appeared in Gu Xiao's eyes.
The surrounding space instantly transford from this room into a pitch-black hell.
Suddenly, a bloody hand seized his ankle. As he looked down, a terrifying ghostly face t his eyes. It was a hideously eerie face, paler than white paper, grotesque and bizarre, just like a ghost from hell.
More and more ghosts entwined around him, and he scread among them, but no one ca to save him.
In the room, the butler's corpse lay rigid on the ground, his face stark white, as if drained of vital energy, and his expression was filled with unspeakable terror, as though he'd seen the world's most frightening thing before dying.
At this mont, a maid dressed girl brought sothing into Gu Xiao's room, seeing the butler's corpse, she scread in shock.
She looked up at Gu Xiao, her face full of terror, but upon thinking again, since the butler wasn't weak, and the young master was a waste, how did he die in the young master's room?
Gu Xiao looked at the maid with an innocent smile, "You might not believe it, but he was scared to death by my handsoness."
