"Mr. Gu, you must be joking. It was my brother who overestimated himself and attacked you first; it's understandable you defended yourself," Yu Lingzi replied with a forced smile, his gaze occasionally darting to the puppet beside Zhang nglong.
"You're far more astute than your brother," Zhang nglong chuckled. "The Black Rock Auction House needs a manager now. Are you willing to take the role?"
Yu Lingzi's eyes lit up. Despite Yun Cangzi being his brother, in this place, brothers were often used as pawns. If Yun Cangzi hadn't died, he'd never have the chance to take the lead from a second-in-command to the top position.
