Now reading: Chapter 62: Gravity Chamber from I Just Want to Farm, But My Beasts Keep Evolving!!, a Fantasy novel by LordFrosty.

Feeling the pressure on his bones, Raiden couldn’t help but feel amazed by the technology. The Alliance managed to create sothing that actually controlled one of the four fundantal forces of nature!!

Poke. Poke.

Just as Raiden was marveling the technology, he felt sothing poking his butt. He couldn’t help but turn his head around with difficulty to look at Woolie, who was walking around him unfazed, poking his butt cheerfully.

"Woolie!" ヽ(≧□≦)ノ

"Damnit, Woolie, what are you doing?" Raiden questioned him speechlessly.

"Woolie!" Humph! Such a weak arse human!

Seeing the look of disdain on his face, Raiden felt anger rising in his chest. Mustering all his strength in his body, Raiden stood up shakily and started walking towards Woolie.

"Just wait until I catch you!" Seeing him walking towards him, Woolie started laughing gleefully and started walking inside, with Raiden following behind him.

But Raiden felt his body getting heavier and heavier. The more he walked inwards, the higher the gravity got, until ca a point where he couldn’t walk anymore.

Falling on his knees, Raiden panted badly. Just walking a few steps seed to have sapped all his strength.

"Ara~ All done already? I thought your body would have been much stronger. It’s a sha you couldn’t even keep up with an old lady like ~" A sweet voice sounded from behind him as both Isadora and Roy walked slowly inside the room.

"Miss Isadora, Roy, this place is a gravity chamber?" Raiden asked curiously, ignoring Isadora’s comnt. He had learned how to deal with her in a short ti, just ignore her bullshit and focus on the important bits.

"Aren’t you calling Dommy Mommy anymore, boy? How sad~" Isadora put one hand on her cheek as she looked at him with amusent in her eyes.

But seeing him give no reaction to her words, the woman quickly grew bored.

"Well, you guessed correctly, it is a gravity chamber. You both will be staying here for the majority of the ti with your Terra Beasts. It takes a lot to keep this chamber running, so better take advantage of it, you know~"

"How much gravity are we under right now?" Raiden asked through his teeth.

"Three tis the normal gravity." It was Roy who answered this ti instead.

"Just three??"

"Yep, just three, boy. Why, you feeling butthurt already?" Roy asked with a grin.

"Your mother is feeling b—"

"Hmm?" Raiden felt an inexplicable chill run down his spine when he heard Isadora intervene.

"I don’t like bad boys, you know~ Don’t speak such profanities in front of , okay sweetie?" She smiled softly as she addressed Raiden, who nodded in a hurry. He had a feeling that if he didn’t, it would be very, very bad for him.

Ignoring Raiden, Roy gestured towards the centre of the do, which stretched so far ahead it was almost lost in the haze.

"We’ve only activated the first quarter of the chamber. You won’t be reaching the halfway point anyti soon, so there’s no point running the rest. The deeper you go, the stronger the gravity is. Do your best to go as far as you can!! Your uncle Roy is cheering for you!~"

Raiden looked ahead. The activated quarter alone was enormous — and just standing in its outer range had already put him on his knees.

He chose not to think about what the centre felt like.

anwhile, a little distance further from Raiden, Morgana was moving forward bravely. Her jaw was set, and her steps felt deliberate and laboured, but she stood upright in the chamber, and she kept walking one step at a ti, Cinder gliding low beside her. Every step she took took her further ahead than anywhere Raiden could currently reach.

Seeing her press forward like that raised his competitive spirit.

Mustering everything he had, Raiden planted one foot on the ground and shoved himself upright. His legs shook badly as he almost fell on his face. His spine started creaking squeakily. He ignored all of that and started walking again.

"Hoh, that’s impressive," Roy observed this with quiet interest.

"Average, I am just average." Raiden replied in a shaky voice as he started moving forward at a snail’s pace. "But will just training for nine days make a big difference??"

Hearing his question, Isadora smiled as she answered.

"You’d be partially correct. Gravity is the best way to train your physical body. Bone density increases as your skeleton adapts to the sustained load. Muscle mass builds faster than any conventional training because every single movent — walking, standing, breathing — is resistance work. Your cardiovascular system strengthens because your heart has to work harder just to keep you upright. But all that is not enough to make a substantial difference."

Taking a pause, she looked at her daughter, who was struggling with a gaze filled with softness.

"But you have access to sothing much more valuable. Level 1 food. Paired with my ’personal training’, you’ll be surprised by the results." Morgana’s mom seed really cheerful when she ntioned the personal training.

Raiden glanced at Woolie, who had wandered further into the chamber than Raiden or Morgana, and was now standing with his legs spread wide, as subtle violet electricity flashed faintly at the tips of his wool, and bravely pressed forward a hundred ters ahead.

"For your Woolie specifically, the gravity training addresses his two biggest weaknesses directly." Roy continued. "His defence, bone density and muscles were all rated ’Low’ on the scan. The gravity will help in compressing and building muscle mass much faster."

Raiden looked at Woolie properly, feeling he had let him down. He had been feeding Woolie so B Tier berries and basic Milkos milk, but it was far from enough to et his demanding training requirents, resulting in a lack of muscles, sothing even his system couldn’t fix.

He had won the competition despite all that, proving why he was called Emperor Woolie.

"Woolie." He called out.

Woolie, who was trying to push forward, paused and turned around, giving Raiden a questioning look.

"We’re going to fix your weaknesses, ya know."

"Woolie Woo!!" ( - ̀ ω - ́ )✧

Who said Emperor Woolie has weak points?! Humph!! Emperor Woolie is the strongest, with no weakness!!

Hearing his uniquely Woolie answer, Raiden burst into laughter. "Hahaha, you are right!! You are the strongest indeed."

Hearing this, Woolie tilted his head up in pride.

"Woo Woo!" *Of course!! Now don’t disturb , I am playing!!

"He’s so cute! But it’s not fair if he is training alone, you know. You should join him~" Isadora whispered in his ear as she appeared behind him at so unknown period of ti.

Bang!

Before Raiden could figure out what she ant, she kicked his back, sending him sliding forward to where Woolie was in much higher gravity.

Cough. Cough.

Lying on the ground, Raiden felt an unbearable amount of force press down on his body as his organs in his body shifted uncontrollably. He was unable to control himself he ended up coughing blood.

Bang!

But Raiden wasn’t given enough ti to think as Isadora appeared on top of him again before kicking him across the field with even stronger force.

Sliding even further ahead, Raiden felt his body breaking down from the inside as his heart thumped against his chest painfully. He wasn’t able to think of anything and felt his consciousness slipping away due to pain.

Looking at the woman smiling sweetly in the distance, Raiden only had one thought in his mind.

’This woman wants to kill !!’
