I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List? Chapter 150: Natural Scenic Areas
Carrying a huge sum of money, Loren walked out of the Gray Zone with a calm expression on his face.
Just as he was about to leave the Gray Zone, Loren stopped in his tracks, suddenly rembering sothing.
"I forgot to ask Old George if he could open Councilor Osman's locked spatial storage ring..."
"Forget it, I'll ask next ti. I have enough Spirit Stones on to spend for now."
Loren shook his head indifferently and walked out of the Gray Zone.
His Black Wings gave a powerful flap behind him, and he vanished from the spot, continuing his search mission.
After taking to the sky, Raven's voice chid in appropriately in Loren's mind.
"Master, I learned a bit of new knowledge on the Federation network last night. It just so happens to include information on how to erase the spiritual imprint left by others on spatial storage devices."
"Well done, Raven. We've saved ourselves another expense," Loren praised sincerely.
"In that case, I'll leave that spatial storage ring for you to crack when we get back."
Wisdom truly is a useful ability...
"As you wish, my dear Master."
"Then, Master, since you just made a huge fortune, could you buy so Blood Dragon Fruit? I'm starting to miss their taste."
Raven said in a cheeky tone within Loren's mind.
Loren: "..."
I take that back. Wisdom is a rather diocre ability...
"Silence ans consent, Master," Raven's voice sounded again in his mind.
"Shut up, you stupid bird. We'll talk about it when we get back." A faint, barely noticeable smile tugged at the corner of Loren's mouth.
I, Las Loren! Am a wealthy man!
Sothing as cheap as Blood Dragon Fruit? I'll buy it!
Due to the tacit "cooperation" between Daisy Wendy and Raven last ti, poor Loren still thought Blood Dragon Fruit was quite inexpensive...
Guessing Loren's thoughts, Raven snickered quietly in his mind.
It couldn't hold back its laughter.
"Raven, what are you laughing at?"
"I'm laughing with emotion, Master. You're so good to ..."
Feeling sothing was off, Loren began recalling the scene last ti when Daisy brought out the Blood Dragon Fruit, carefully thinking back to Daisy Wendy and Raven's guilty expressions at the ti.
Loren: "..."
It shouldn't be too expensive, right? How expensive can fresh fruit be...
Holding onto this thought, Loren continued flying peacefully along the straight line on his map.
Thirty minutes later, Loren flew over another Gray Zone marked on the intelligence.
Suspended in the sky, Loren took out the Federation Coin from his pocket and tossed it into the air.
"Is Marcus Rhine down there? If yes, the coin lands heads."
The coin fell. Tails!
Loren put the coin away and headed for the next Star Traveler Society outpost.
The next Star Traveler Society outpost also showed no trace of Marcus Rhine.
The one after that also had no sign of the target.
After running empty at four consecutive outposts, Loren was growing impatient.
Loren descended to the ground, casually picked up a branch from the roadside, and threw it into the air.
The branch fell.
The direction pointed by the smaller end of the branch matched the direction marked on the map.
"The direction is correct. You sure know how to hide, Mr. Marcus Rhine..."
Loren looked at the map of the Radiant Flow Main City on his portable computer and couldn't help but sigh.
After the continuous search, the sun's rays hung low and distant in the sky.
The ti had already reached the afternoon.
Loren was also about to fly out of the main urban area of the Radiant Flow Main City.
On the map, there was only a short distance left before reaching the outskirts of the Radiant Flow Main City.
Beyond the outskirts, further ahead, lay the natural scenic area outside the main city.
That was a zone with minimal developnt. Apart from a few constructed roads and so forest rangers living there, there were no human traces.
"Mr. Marcus Rhine, don't tell you're hiding in the vast natural scenic area..." Loren muttered to himself.
A sudden guess surfaced in Loren's mind.
Contrary to the little one's description, the other party was actually a cautious person.
He wouldn't dare hide boldly within the Radiant Flow Main City because the Security Bureau was present there.
Even though the Security Bureau's influence in the Radiant Flow Star Domain wasn't strong, he still felt it was dangerous...
"It seems you carry quite a significant secret as well."
Wait, at the ti, the little one's bloodline sense indicated he was still within the Radiant Flow Main City!
The little one wouldn't lie to . So then...
"Interesting. Did you sense danger and start running? Or were you just in the middle of being relocated?"
Loren put away his playful attitude and stored his portable computer. He was getting serious now.
"I thought it was just an ordinary search mission. It seems it's not..."
His Black Wings gave a powerful flap, whipping up a gale!
Loren shot straight towards the natural scenic area outside the Radiant Flow Main City.
"No one can escape from !! No one! Mr. Marcus Rhine!"
Five minutes later, Loren flew out of the Main City of the Radiant Flow Star Domain and arrived at the border between the main city and the natural scenic area.
He descended below, picked up a dry twig from the ground, and casually tossed it into the air.
The twig fell. The smaller end pointed unmistakably towards the natural scenic area ahead, an endless expanse of dense forest.
"Very well! Mr. Marcus Rhine, you've successfully piqued my interest!"
"I'm starting to look forward to this hunting ga!"
With that, Loren shot straight up into the sky, flying towards the boundless forest!
After flying at full speed for thirty minutes, Loren voluntarily descended into the dense, humid forest, startling countless flocks of birds nesting within.
"Master, as a bird, I like this forest. It feels familiar and close to ."
Loren, whose interest was now fully engaged, ignored Raven.
After taking a deep breath of the forest's uniquely fresh air, he silently bent down, picked up another dry twig, and tossed it again.
This ti, the smaller end of the twig pointed in a different direction.
"He actually changed direction..."
"Did he discover soone is tracking him? Or what?" Loren murmured to himself.
He took out the Federation Coin from his pocket once more!
The coin was tossed!
"Has Marcus Rhine discovered I'm tracking him? If yes, heads!"
The coin fell!
Heads!
Marcus Rhine has discovered Loren is tracking him!!
Seeing the answer given by Fortune, a mysterious smile appeared on Loren's lips.
"Raven! Fortune! Give a full stack!"
"I want to play a ga of cat and mouse with this Mr. Marcus Rhine!"
After taking another deep breath of the natural forest's uniquely fresh air, Loren manipulated the wings on his back and violently shot straight up into the sky.
Towards the direction indicated by the twig, his wings flapped with imnse force!
He sped away!!
A gale swept through the forest below!
The dense branches of the great trees were bent by this violent wind, all uniformly bowing in one direction.
Countless erald green leaves also fluttered down within the forest.
At the sa ti, a large number of small animals inhabiting the forest were startled and scattered.
