Now reading: Chapter 230: Checkpoint from I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List?, a Sci-fi novel by 剑屠雨Rain Slayer.

When Loren activated the Possession State, he imdiately noticed that this ti was different.

Perhaps because it was the first ti Raven had devoured so many Spirit Stones, there was now the energy of a full ten million Spirit Stones circulating within Loren's body!

Loren quietly assessed his own condition; his body seed filled with endless power...

He felt a sensation of both his spirit and flesh being stretched to their absolute limits.

He desperately needed a fight to help adapt to this state and accelerate the digestion of the energy within him!

Right then, Hans's voice happened to co from outside the room.

"Mr. Loren, we've reached the destination! We've landed on the planet where the Federation Third Prison is located."

"Looks like the timing is just right..."

Loren muttered to himself quietly before activating the Pure White Mask's disguise once more.

The vulgar image of a bald, muscular man reappeared!

Loren swaggered out of the room...

Seeing Loren erge, Hans's eyes montarily froze.

He's changed back to how he looked when we first t?

Though, Mr. Loren's disguise really is... hard to put into words...

After leaving the room, Loren headed straight for the starship's hatch and curiously asked,

"Hans, how did you bypass the Federation's air traffic control system?"

Loren had thought Hans would park this ghost ship outside the planet and have him sneak in quietly...

"The 12 robots I repaired all happen to be proficient in certain network technologies..."

"They quietly hacked into the Federation's air traffic control system and fabricated a fake identity for this ship."

"Right now, the Federation's ATC screen shows we're a passenger ship here for a legitimate prison visit," Hans said quite casually.

"...Good."

After a mont of silence, Loren could only utter those two words.

He glanced at the twelve robots sitting in the cockpit and walked straight off the ship...

"Raven, look at others..."

Loren teased Raven in his mind.

"Stop scolding . After I finish learning the Ancient Orcish Script, I'll set aside so ti to study network technology..."

Federal Calendar 7708, November 8th, morning.

Stepping off the ship, Loren fully unleashed his ntal energy and swaggered towards the direction of the Federation Third Prison.

The Federation Third Prison was located on a resource-poor planet.

Due to its extrely harsh natural environnt, vast stretches of desert on the landmass, and the planet's extrely scarce surface water sources, there were no ordinary Federation citizens settled on this planet specifically used for incarcerating criminals.

The only inhabitants were the serious criminals locked up in the Federation Third Prison and the prison guards hired to watch them.

Therefore, Loren, stepping out of the ship, stood out quite conspicuously in this supporting living city built alongside the Federation Third Prison.

As the prison's supporting living city, its largest resident population was the guards of the Third Prison.

After all, not many people usually ca to visit the criminals imprisoned here...

So guards on their day off, while strolling the streets, subtly sized up Loren, who was clearly an outsider.

Noticing the gazes from these off-duty guards, Loren instead boldly looked back, flashing a fearless smile.

"Good morning, officers!" Loren said with a laugh towards the scrutinizing looks.

Soon, those off-duty guards, seeing Loren's reaction, all withdrew their gazes.

"Such a brazen punk, probably here for a prison visit..."

"Nowadays, only those bottom-tier gang mbers still have a bit of human decency..."

A rather self-consistent logic ford in the minds of these off-duty guards.

And Loren proceeded quite smoothly through the living city.

This continued until he was nearing the Third Prison itself...

As he approached the Third Prison, Loren encountered a very strict checkpoint.

A checkpoint manned by over ten prison guards...

Loren walked up smiling and naturally stopped before the checkpoint.

Three guards cautiously surrounded him.

"Big guy, what are you here for?" one of the guards asked quite fiercely, staring into Loren's eyes.

"Prison visit, officer," Loren replied with a smile.

"Who are you visiting?"

"I forgot to ask his na. I only know he's a pretty righteous guy. Oh right, he took out an insurance company's executive director two months ago."

Loren explained his purpose.

"Another one here to visit the 'hero'. How many have co during this period? I'm getting sick of it..."

The guard's tone carried a hint of complaint.

"Big guy, do you have a pre-booked visitation record?"

"Sorry, officer, I don't have that..." Loren shrugged helplessly.

"No problem! No need to apologize. Even if you booked, it wouldn't be approved! That guy isn't allowed visits by ordinary people!"

"Now, big guy, get back to wherever you ca from! Got it?!" the guard roared.

Loren raised a hand to stroke his chin, pondering as he asked,

"Is that so? Then I'm not an ordinary person, so can I visit?"

Now it was the turn of the guard who had just roared to be stunned. He asked cautiously,

"You are?"

"Here to break soone out," Loren revealed a "friendly" smile.

As the words fell, Loren's burly figure vanished from the sight of these guards.

"Ah!"

...

Over ten cries of pain rang out almost simultaneously.

The next instant, all ten-plus guards manning the checkpoint were lying on the ground, their necks all twisted at a bizarre angle...

Judging from their grueso state, their cervical vertebrae had been crushed with imnse force, nearly at the sa ti!

When Loren's figure reappeared, he was already behind the checkpoint.

He leisurely patted his broad palms together and continued walking towards the location of the Third Prison...

anwhile, the Federation Third Prison not far away suddenly blared with a massive alarm.

"All personnel, go on high alert! Intruder detected!"

"Repeat!"

"All personnel, go on high alert! Intruder detected!!"

...

Even Loren heard the alarm sounds coming from the prison ahead. He shrugged silently.

"Hidden surveillance near the checkpoint?"

"Whatever, I'd have been discovered sooner or later. Might as well raise so hell..."
