Chapter 284 "The False Prophecy Spell!"

The appearance of the Fruit of Miracles didn't just add another path to becoming a Superhuman.

It represented humanity taking an extraordinarily solid step forward among the countless super civilizations in the Star Realm.

Given humanity's huge population base, in theory, the more ordinary people who consud the Fruit of Miracles, the higher the probability that Legendary powerhouses would appear.

These "elental psychics" could always bloom into a brilliant flower.

Not a flower rooted in physical strength, but a dazzling blossom born of spiritual power.

Although there is no obvious superiority between the two in raw combat strength, their essences are fundantally different.

A Superhuman with vast spiritual power can more easily improve their physical strength.

But a Superhuman built on trendous physical strength will find it far harder to raise their spiritual power.

Even the Empire, a leviathan in the Star Realm, willingly accepted the Star Traveler Society, that cult organization.

One must rember that in the past, within the Empire's borders, all cult organizations were banned from establishing themselves.

This further shows how massive the hidden value contained within the Fruit of Miracles really is...

Perhaps the domain of spiritual power and the domain of physical strength were never truly oppositional...

Lying in bed, Loren couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle when he saw the Star Traveler Society's ranking. He also clicked the virtual vote button behind the Star Traveler Society's entry twice, quietly casting his vote.

After voting, Loren exited the voting webpage built by so benefactor and returned to the post on the Interstellar Hunter Forum...

"Next is my favorite part, teasing the Security Bureau."

A particularly nasty smile tugged at Loren's mouth.

Among the many replies under the voting post, one highly-upvoted answer sat at the top.

Keep your underwear dry: "@FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring. So? Did you vote?"

In that reply, countless thrill-seekers followed suit and tagged the Security Bureau account.

Is your underwear really dry?: "@FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring. My big brother is calling you, go vote!"

IAmNotACultReally: "@FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring. Hurry up and vote for , with this few votes I’m afraid I can’t get first place... QAQ"

EmpireMilitaryAlwaysHiring: "@FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring. Right, are you looking down on the Star Traveler Society??? If you don't want it, I'll take it!"

...

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "Don't go too far!!!!!!!"

Apparently, after voting, the pranksters all instinctively began to toy with the event's sole "villain"—the Security Bureau.

After reading these replies, Loren quietly liked all of them, then posted a line himself.

ALuckyPetKeeper: "@FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring. Be a good boy, go vote! After you vote I'll give you a secret piece of information that can overturn the Federation."

After sending that, Loren skillfully snapped his fingers a few tis and layered a few strands of Fortune onto his ssage to ensure soone from the Security Bureau would see it.

Two minutes later.

Loren saw the Security Bureau's reply.

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "@ALuckyPetKeeper. It's you again!! I won't believe you! I'm not voting! Unless you tell the information first! I'll think about it!!"

Upon seeing that, Loren's lips rose slightly.

They definitely took the bait!

As soone who frequently teased the Security Bureau, Loren knew well that Security Bureau people had a strange obsession with "secret information" and "overturning the Federation"...

An obsession they simply couldn't resist.

Loren's move had triggered the opponent's deep-rooted psychological code.

After a mont's thought, Loren typed a line on his portable computer screen at lightning speed.

ALuckyPetKeeper: "@FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring. It concerns an incoming God, I only just learned of it, I promise I'm not lying!"

The other side replied instantly!

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "Are you serious?"

ALuckyPetKeeper: "I'm serious. If I weren't afraid to show my face at your Security Bureau, I'd sell this information to you!!"

Loren waited another thirty seconds.

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "@ALuckyPetKeeper. Can you actually reveal the information to ?"

Seeing this, Loren smiled and typed another line.

ALuckyPetKeeper: "I just don't like your Security Bureau, it's not like I don't live in the Federation! That incoming God's sche is a bit big, it's already affecting ..."

One minute later.

The Security Bureau account tagged Loren again and attached an image.

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "@ALuckyPetKeeper. I voted, send the info to privately and I'll remove you from the blacklist!"

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "[image format]"

Loren opened the image sent by the Security Bureau and examined it carefully.

The image was a screenshot of a successful vote for the Star Traveler Society; judging from the tistamp in the screenshot's upper right, it had been done monts ago.

Loren quietly took the Federation Coin from his pocket, tossed it lightly into the air, and silently asked in his mind:

"Did the other side vote for the Star Traveler Society? If they did, the coin will land heads."

The coin fell, tails!

They didn't vote!

Loren sneered inwardly. Trying to trick ?

ALuckyPetKeeper: "I have a prophecy spell! You didn't vote! You scum who don't care about the Federation populace!"

After three long silent minutes, the Security Bureau account sent another image.

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "[image format]"

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "Uh, that was my colleague who voted just now, an accident, an accident..."

FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring: "@ALuckyPetKeeper. You can do a prophecy spell, why didn't you say so earlier! I really voted now! Hurry, send the info privately!!"

Seeing that reply, Loren chuckled and tossed the Federation Coin again.

"Did the other side vote for the Star Traveler Society? If they did, the coin will land heads."

The coin fell!

Heads!

They voted!

Seeing the coin's answer, Loren's face lit up with an extrely sunny smile.

Loren quietly took a screenshot of the ssage the other side had just sent and saved it.

Blackmail material like this is very precious...

Then Loren's fingers danced across the screen, and he typed rapidly.

ALuckyPetKeeper: "@FederationSecurityBureauAlwaysHiring. Nice! The prophecy spell told you really did vote!"

ALuckyPetKeeper: "Screenshot saved! Hahahahaha!!"
