Loren walked up to the enormous scale carved with draconic script, standing silently and warily as he inspected the strange writing on it.

He stood there quietly, scanning the entire dragon scale.

Thirty seconds later.

A voice, slightly embarrassed for a dragon, sounded.

"Miss Jessistan, could you...read aloud the contents of the contract for ?"

"Uh...sorry! Seeing you look so focused, I assud Mr. Loren, you could read draconic..."

But in Miss Silver Dragon's tone, there was no hint of genuine apology.

"The cultural dragons' disdain for the illiterate is truly arrogant!"

"Can this Star Realm ever be normal?!" Loren roared loudly inside his head.

"Master! Don't worry! I'll learn!!"

This ti, Raven's reassurance arrived just in ti.

At the sa ti, Miss Silver Dragon's voice, carrying a subtle smile, spoke up.

"Since this is just an ordinary contract, I set the contents very simply."

"The contract reads:

From this day forth, the dragon — Jessistan, is willing to beco the exclusive driver of the human — Mr. Las Loren.

Dragon Jessistan guarantees that, when she is available, she will co at the summons of Las Loren.

At the sa ti, as a human, Mr. Las Loren shall not proactively restrict the freedom of Dragon Jessistan.

Of course, exceptions apply when Jessistan volunteers a request.

This is a contract of mutual freedom; should either party breach it, neither party needs to pay any penalty, symbolizing friendship and equality.

Signed, Dragon: Jessistan.

Signer: ( )

Term of validity for this contract: Lifeti."

With Miss Silver Dragon's gently amused voice trailing off, she finished reciting the hasty contract.

Then she turned and looked at Loren with a pleased expression. "See? I didn't trick you, did I?"

Loren remained silent, still staring at the enormous dragon scale before him, his brow quietly furrowing.

The giant scale was covered with characters and symbols he could not understand...

By his own honor, Loren swore he would never sign such a strange contract!!

He turned and looked at the smiling silver dragon beside him, and in a calm voice asked:

"Miss Jessistan, did you add any personal clauses into the contract?"

Hearing Loren's accusation, Miss Silver Dragon leaped up in excitent, her arms waving up and down!

"Wow!! You actually don't trust dragons!!"

"I am a noble, trustworthy mber of the Silver Dragon lineage! We have our pride!"

"We are nothing like those cunning devils, so shaless!!"

Loren's gaze stayed calm as he watched the very animated Jessistan, silent and appraising.

After a long mont.

Seeing that her expression held no obvious flaws, he nodded slightly.

Then he produced that Federation Coin from his pocket...

and flipped it into the air.

"Are the other's words true? If true, the coin will show heads!"

The coin fell back into Loren's hand.

Heads! It was the truth!

Loren's brow relaxed a bit.

He then flipped the coin into the air again.

"Does the contract before have any other problems? If so, the coin will show heads!"

The coin fell again!

Heads! There are problems!

A aningful smile crept onto Loren's lips — truly a notorious dragon, after all...

He turned his gaze, half-lidded, toward Miss Silver Dragon at his side.

"Then explain this. What is this problematic contract about?"

Upon hearing this, a trace of embarrassnt appeared on Jessistan's delicate face. She replied sulkily:

"What a coincidence, Mr. Loren, you also have such high-end detection thods!"

"Hahaha... you should've said earlier..."

"You made waste so much effort!"

"Wait, I'll go and modify the problematic parts..."

Before she finished speaking, she nimbly jumped back onto the dragon scale and bent over to revise the contract contents...

Loren stood quietly, rely admiring the flawless curves of her figure.

What a nice shape...no wonder dragons are impressive...

Five minutes later.

Miss Silver Dragon jumped down from the huge scale again, a few traces of flattery on her face:

"Test it again now? Mr. Loren?"

Loren glanced at her, said nothing, and flipped the coin once more.

"Does this contract before have any other problems? If so, the coin will show heads!"

The coin landed, heads!

Still problematic!

Loren's smile broadened another notch.

He shook his head gently at Miss Silver Dragon, his eyes tinged with a teasing "you can't do it" challenge.

At this, the flattery vanished from Jessistan's face.

Refusing to yield, she leaped back onto the scale and buried herself again in contract revisions.

"I refuse to believe it!! Again!"

Under Loren's provocative gaze, things began to escalate...

Another five minutes passed.

Miss Silver Dragon jumped down wordlessly!

"You look again!"

Loren shrugged and casually tossed the coin.

It still ca up heads!

His look toward Jessistan grew even more taunting...

It was practically written on his face: "Are those all the tricks the dragon race can pull?"

Unwilling to lose, Miss Silver Dragon jumped back up...

Her eyes seed to ignite with a fla!

"I, this dragon, truly will not believe it!!!"

......

Federal Calendar 7708, December 6, around noon.

After a whole morning spent consuming her spirit and effort revising the contract, the great "Silver Winged Calamity" — Miss Jessistan, finally lay motionless and dumbfounded on the cold snow.

Beside her lay that massive dragon scale engraved with draconic script and magical symbols.

After Jessistan's repeated edits, the dragon scale had beco almost unrecognizable...

Not far away, Loren wore a mysterious smile.

Over the morning, with a simple ordinary coin, he had completely shattered the Silver Dragon's innate pride and confidence.

No matter how Jessistan altered the contract on the scale, Loren could always easily detect that the contract had been spliced with "personal clauses"...

Fortune, incredibly useful.

"Want to play a bit longer, Miss Dragon with not-so-sophisticated tricks?"

Lying in the snow with blank eyes, Jessistan tilted her head slightly and looked at Loren, who seed to be enjoying himself. A muscle twitched at the corner of her eye as she burst out in despair:

"Is this necessary?! I didn't an to trick you!!"

"I just want to get your signature on the contract to beco your exclusive driver! It might be useful in the future!!"

"Do you have to be this serious?!"

"You're bullying a dragon several thousand years old!!"

Seeing her finally admit defeat and surrender, Loren tucked the coin away in high spirits.

After putting the coin away, Loren grew serious and asked:

"You want to get my signature to beco my exclusive driver? What do you an?"

Miss Silver Dragon, sitting up from the icy ground, looked at Loren with pitiable eyes.

"It ans nothing! My instincts and experience tell that you, you bastard human, might beco an influential figure in the Star Realm one day!!"

"Getting your signature now and proof that I am your exclusive driver!"

"When you beco soone lofty and powerful!"

"I can wave your banner around!"

"By then, I'll be a dragon with strong backing!"

"I can go wherever I want, do whatever I want!"

"Let's see if those guys still dare block my door?!"
