Loren, with the raven on his shoulder, walked into this Interstellar Hunter Branch.

The raven's uncouth, unsophisticated behavior had thoroughly embarrassed him.

Loren silently lowered the brim of his top hat, ignoring the strange looks others were casting his way.

He quietly walked to a reception window and presented his hunter license.

"Hello, ma'am. I need a place to stay, and I'm here to apply for the Fifth Rank hunter assessnt."

The clerk inside the window expertly took Loren's Interstellar Hunter license and inserted it into her computer.

After a flurry of nimble finger movents, the hunter license was handed back.

"Welco to the Jadeite Star Domain, Mr. Loren."

"Your restroom is on the 29th floor, number 69."

"Your application for the Fifth Rank hunter assessnt has been submitted. The assessnt is scheduled for tomorrow at 9 AM, located in the basent on the negative first floor of this building. Please arrive on ti."

Loren retrieved his hunter license and gave a slight nod of acknowledgnt.

"Thank you, ma'am."

"You're welco. May your path as a Superhuman be a pleasant one, Mr. Loren."

The lady inside the window gently offered Loren a blessing.

She liked Interstellar Hunters who spoke simply like this; they didn't increase her workload.

And, to be a Fifth Tier Superhuman at such a young age, only 23... his future prospects were limitless...

After retrieving his hunter license, Loren walked towards the lobby elevators with a pleasant mood.

He liked this place, especially the amiable attitude of that clerk.

No discrimination, no fear either.

Arriving before the elevator, he pressed the button and stood quietly waiting at the elevator doors.

However, this peaceful atmosphere didn't last long.

"From another star domain?"

A man with a face full of stubble ca up close to Loren and inquired.

Soone had noticed Loren even before he had just entered the building.

After all, many people had heard the raven's unsophisticated remarks at the entrance.

"Can I help you?" Loren asked flatly.

"Want to join my team? Looks like you don't have a team yet. Being all alone in the Jadeite Star Domain, that just won't do."

The stubbly-faced man grinned mischievously as he extended the invitation to Loren.

*Join my team, and just give half the mission rewards*, the man thought to himself.

*These outsiders, these newcors, you find one less of them every ti you et one. Can't let this opportunity go to waste...*

"No need. But if you have any other ideas, I'm quite welcoming of them." Loren said, his eyes gleaming as he stared at the other man.

Such fun, I haven't experienced it yet...

Because when Loren joined the Interstellar Hunter Association, he was already notorious on the resource planet.

This ant he hadn't had the chance to experience such interesting things.

It made him very much look forward to this man's next response.

Hearing Loren's reply, the stubbly-faced man's expression froze.

This reply was clearly not right...

The man inwardly grumbled, then cautiously asked:

"May I ask what tier Superhuman you are?"

"I'm just a Third Rank hunter, don't worry, sir." Loren replied cleverly, as if knowing what the other was thinking, answering the man's question.

The stubbly-faced man's expression beca conflicted. *Only Third Tier? And so arrogant? Could he have backing??*

As if seeing through what the other was thinking, Loren added another sentence:

"No backing. I just arrived today. I don't know anyone in the Jadeite Star Domain either."

The stubbly-faced man's expression grew even more conflicted. He wanted to retreat.
