Loren stood by the gambling table, watching Davis's hurried departing back, and silently sighed in his heart:

When dealing with these Energy Departnt people, the na of the Nature Sect sure is useful. The other party beca so obedient so quickly.

"Master, was it wise to tell him your na? Won't it bring trouble?" Raven asked in Loren's mind.

After Davis Feller left, Raven had quietly returned inside Loren.

"If I win that many chips from him and then let him freely investigate my identity, *that* would be trouble. It's better to take the initiative ourselves. That way, *he's* the one who'll find it troubleso."

Loren casually explained in his mind.

As an Interstellar Hunter, there's no point trying to hide your na. After all, you can just spend a few Spirit Stones to look it up at the Association...

Then, Loren turned to the dealer standing behind the table and said:

"Mr. Dealer, please leave 7,000 worth of chips from the table. For the rest, please exchange them into Spirit Stones for ."

The dealer behind the table nodded respectfully.

"Sir, please wait a mont."

"There's one more thing. My colleague in my earpiece just now asked to relay a ssage. Please, sir, do not rashly use superhuman powers in the casino hall. It could cause misunderstandings."

"It's fortunate you didn't summon your bird friend while gambling, otherwise my colleagues would have rushed in."

The dealer reminded Loren in a very solemn tone.

Clearly, the casino people were not afraid of the Nature Sect.

After all, they weren't destroying nature;

they were just running an entertainnt business.

In the eyes of those outside the Energy Departnt, the superhumans of the Nature Sect were mostly laid-back and friendly, a rather gentle group of superhumans.

Loren nodded calmly, accepting the reminder. "I'll be more careful next ti."

So, it seems they only detect the use of superhuman power when Raven appears and disappears? What a rigid detection thod.

Loren ntally comnted.

Soon, the piles of chips on the table vanished.

Only seven chips with the number "1000" written on them and two heavy, bulky boxes remained.

And when Loren saw these two heavy boxes, he suddenly realized he needed a spatial storage item.

Thirty thousand Spirit Stones were already this much... What should he do when he has even more?

"Mr. Dealer, does your casino provide guest room services?" asked Loren, feeling sowhat helpless.

Upon hearing Loren's question, the polite expression on the dealer's face transford into a crafty, rchant-like smile.

"Of course we do. The third floor of the Gambling City is reserved for guests to rest."

"Sir, are you finding it troubleso to carry away two large boxes?"

"Allow to enthusiastically introduce you to the second floor of the casino. It's a large shopping mall, and there are shops inside selling spatial equipnt. The quality is quite exceptional."

Loren: "..."

As expected, the na of the Nature Sect holds no deterrent power against other groups. They're just seen as a bunch of gullible, easy-to-fool big softies...

"No need. First, book a guest room. I'll go check out the second floor after I get settled," Loren declined the dealer's sales pitch.

"Alright... Sir, I respect your wishes." The expression on the dealer's face carried obvious regret.

Led by the dealer, Loren arrived at a guest room on the casino's third floor.

Because Loren's turnover at the casino exceeded thirty thousand chips, he was given a luxurious suite with many rooms.

Living room, bedroom, bathroom, study—all were fully equipped.

There was even a room stacked full of wine and a spacious balcony.

Loren was very satisfied. This was clearly much more comfortable than the free lounge at the Interstellar Hunter Association.

If there was one thing Loren was dissatisfied with during his stay, it could only be when passing by the second floor. The dealer, still sowhat unwilling to give up, suggested Loren could go into the mall to look around...

To this, Loren's response was to look into the other's rchant-like eyes and quietly cast a "curse."

"Next ti this dealer tries to make a sales pitch to soone, the Misfortune attached to him will be triggered."

Only after casting this "curse" did Loren forgive the other's "rudeness."

A dangerous person like Loren was clearly not a good target for sales pitches.

Although he wore the skin of the Nature Sect, at his core, he was still a lawless Interstellar Hunter.

After the dealer escorted Loren into the luxurious suite, he didn't leave. Instead, he looked at Loren's face expectantly.

Loren asked, puzzled, "Is there sothing else?"

"This... well..." The dealer just stood there, rubbing his hands together.

"Master, you forgot the tip," Raven reminded Loren in his mind.

With a dark expression, Loren pulled out 275 Federation Coins from his pocket and handed them over.

These were the Federation Coins left over from Loren's hovercar ride.

They were also all the Federation Coins he had on him.

Strictly speaking, Loren still had one Federation Coin on his person.

But to Loren, that coin had long since beco a lie-detection prop.

In Loren's eyes, it was no longer currency.

A coin you won't spend doesn't have the property of currency.

"Thank you, sir. I wish you a pleasant rest." Only after receiving the tip did the dealer appropriately bid farewell.

And just before closing the door, the dealer, still unwilling to give up, said to Loren once more:

"Sir, I highly recomnd that if you get bored, you can go browse the second-floor mall. The quality of the spatial equipnt there is exceptional. After all, you get what you pay for."

This ti, Loren didn't wear a dark expression. He nodded with a smile.

"Thank you for the reminder. I'll go."

The door finally closed.

Loren could finally enjoy so peace and quiet.

Clearly, to maintain the persona of a Nature Sect mber, Loren had to severely restrain his true nature, struggling to appear amiable.

Next ti, I shouldn't announce I'm a mber of the Nature Sect when there are many people around. Pretending to have a good temper is too exhausting...

Loren sighed inwardly.

As for that dealer, after leaving Loren's suite, he chose to clock out and go ho.

Although he had lost all the authority the casino granted him last night, he was confident that Mr. Loren of the Nature Sect would go browse the mall.

If Loren could go on a big shopping spree at the Gambling City's second-floor mall, then his salary deduction might be less severe.

For a veteran dealer like him, occasionally losing all the Spirit Stones within his authorized limit was permissible.

After all, cultivating a loyal dealer with excellent gambling skills was difficult.

The Gambling City wasn't short on Spirit Stones;

rather, it was short on such special talent.

Besides, he'd only lost a little over thirty million Federation Coins. The benefits he'd brought to the Gambling City over the years amounted to far more than three hundred million Federation Coins.

One night's slip-up didn't an anything.

He could only bla that Mr. Davis last night for having such good luck. His own gambling skills hadn't co into play.

Harboring such thoughts, he left the Gambling City's main gate with ease.

But when he returned to his ho and closed his front door, what greeted him was a knife gleaming with a cold light.

"Waste! You dare walk out of the Gambling City smiling after losing over thirty million?! Managent has long since had enough of you!!"

This loyal and optimistic dealer died inside his own ho.

A few days later, his body would be collected by the Law Enforcent Departnt and hastily classified as an unsolved case.

It's hard to say how much of this was due to the Misfortune Loren had set in motion...
