But that was still not the end of it.

At the very mont his breakthrough stabilized, Lin Feng felt sothing profoundly unsettling.

It was not an attack, nor was it killing intent.

Instead, it was the unmistakable sensation of being observed... no, examined from every conceivable direction.

Countless gazes pierced through layers of ti, space, and causality, prying directly into his existence.

Lin Feng stood unmoving, his figure solitary within the boundless void.

His eyes narrowed slightly as his divine sense expanded outward, tracing those invisible lines of attention back to their sources.

What he perceived made even his vast dao heart stir.

Every single presence watching him stood at the peak of the True Immortal Realm.

They were beings equal to him in cultivation, yet each radiated a unique authority.

Within every gaze lay an entire system of laws, histories, and destinies.

Each of them ruled over their own version of a myriad multiverse... vast realities born, expanded, and destroyed at their whim.

For a brief mont, Lin Feng attempted to count them.

One... ten... a thousand... a million...

The numbers quickly lost aning.

Realities overlapped upon realities, endlessly stacked like reflections within reflections.

No matter how far his perception reached, there was no boundary, no edge to be found.

Lin Feng exhaled slowly.

"Infinite," he concluded.

Rather than fear, a trace of amusent appeared in his eyes.

Straightening his posture, he clasped his fists together and smiled, his deanor calm and unhurried despite the overwhelming pressure.

"Well then," he said warmly, his voice echoing across dinsions, "hello, fellow Daoists."

The response was imdiate and catastrophic.

Countless wills surged toward him at once.

Voices overlapped, laws collided, and divine thoughts crashed together like raging tides.

Each True Immortal attempted to speak, to probe, to verify his existence and authority.

The combined weight of their attention distorted the void itself, causing ripples to spread across infinite layers of reality.

Lin Feng’s brows twitched.

Even for him, this was... excessive.

A sharp pain blossod in his temples as fragnts of foreign dao intent brushed against his consciousness.

He let out a dry chuckle, realizing he had severely underestimated the enthusiasm of his peers.

"Alright, alright," he muttered. "This is getting troubleso."

Without hesitation, Lin Feng withdrew his divine sense and raised his hand.

His will descended like an absolute decree, sealing off his multiverse layer by layer.

Laws reassembled, causality re-anchored, and the boundaries of his reality hardened into an impregnable barrier.

"Until next ti," Lin Feng said lightly.

In the next instant, the voices were cut off.

The gazes vanished.

The pressure disappeared.

The infinite void returned to stillness.

Lin Feng stood alone once more, his robes fluttering softly in the silence. After a mont, a faint smile curved his lips.

"Seems I won’t be lacking opponents in the future," he murmured.

After settling his imdiate plans, Lin Feng’s thoughts slowly drifted toward a question he had deliberately avoided for a very long ti.

How had it all begun?

How had he obtained the system?

And who or what had guided his transmigration?

Now that he stood at the very apex of existence, there was no longer any reason to avoid the truth.

Lin Feng closed his eyes, his consciousness sinking inward as layers of perception unfolded one after another.

His soul towered above space, ti, karma, and fate itself.

"System," he said calmly, his voice carrying the weight of absolute authority.

"Are you there?"

The answer was silence.

Not even an echo responded.

The woman in his system was not to be found.

No familiar interface appeared. No emotionless voice acknowledged his call.

It was as though the system that had accompanied him briefly had never existed to begin with.

Lin Feng slowly opened his eyes.

"...Interesting."

Unwilling to stop there, he extended his hand and lightly grasped at the fabric of ti.

With a single thought, chronology obeyed.

The world around him collapsed, rewinding violently as scenes shattered and reassembled in reverse order.

Days folded into seconds.

Years unraveled into monts.

Entire ages vanished like dust.

Reality peeled back layer by layer until he arrived at the mont he had transmigrated days prior.

He watched it unfold with perfect clarity.

His soul, torn free from one world, crossed an imasurable void and descended into another reality.

The transition was seamless... too seamless. Lin Feng examined every fluctuation, every ripple in space and causality, searching for a guiding hand.

There was none.

No summoning array.

No godly intervention.

No supre will hiding behind the curtain.

It was as if the multiverse itself had simply allowed it to happen.

Unsatisfied, Lin Feng continued to rewind.

The scene shifted again.

Earth appeared before him.

He saw his forr self sitting alone, bottles scattered across the table, the stench of alcohol thick in the air.

His breathing grew erratic as liquid filled his lungs. Consciousness faded slowly, painfully.

A pathetic death.

Lin Feng’s eyes narrowed as he slowed the scene to an extre crawl.

He dissected every second, every heartbeat, every microscopic change in the environnt.

Poison? None.

Curse? Absent.

External interference? Zero.

The death had been natural.

Too natural.

Lin Feng replayed it again.

And again.

And again.

From different perspectives. Across parallel tilines.

Through causality, karma, destiny, and even beyond fate itself.

He peeled reality apart down to its most fundantal principles, yet found nothing unusual.

No fingerprints.

No lingering intent.

No trace of a higher existence.

Hours passed. Then days.

Even with his current cultivation where even ancient cultivators were no more than ants before him... he still found no answers.

Finally, Lin Feng released his grip on ti.

The visions dissolved, and the present reassembled around him.

He stood quietly in the void, his expression calm, yet his eyes carried a rare hint of depth.

"...Curious," he muttered softly. He wondered how a thing could happen.

For sothing to orchestrate his transmigration, grant him a system, and then erase itself so completely that even he could not trace it... such an existence was terrifying.
