Hundreds of thousands of years vanished in an instant. Then tens of thousands.

Then re centuries. The more won Lin Feng added to the scenario, the faster the tiline collapsed.

Until finally...

One year.

It seed that the more won he gathered around him, the faster Ery would fall for him, until she would eventually spread her legs for him without hesitation.

Lin Feng stared at the outco in disbelief.

It seed that the more unattainable he beca, the more Ery’s resolve wavered.

The presence of other won did not discourage her.

On the contrary, it accelerated her feelings, compressing what should have taken eternity into sothing dangerously imminent.

"It seems won truly flock to soone who is already taken..." he muttered to himself, stunned by the cosmic irony.

"Ohhhh... this is a huge problem."

Lin Feng rubbed his temples as though an imaginary headache were forming.

He exhaled slowly, staring at the shifting strands of fate with narrowed eyes.

This was no longer a harmless crush that would fade into nothingness. It was a ticking clock.

And the more he expanded his circle, the louder that clock seed to tick.

In the end, Lin Feng had no clear solution to this peculiar predicant.

Mixing business with pleasure was rarely wise, and he had no intention of blurring those lines.

Authority and affection were a dangerous combination, and he preferred his household to remain orderly rather than entangled in unnecessary emotional chaos.

Lin Feng exhaled slowly, rubbing his chin in thought before finally letting the matter rest.

"I’ll cross that bridge when I get there," he muttered to himself.

There was no use worrying over a future that had yet to solidify.

Fate was fluid, and circumstances could shift at any mont.

For now, restraint and observation would suffice.

With that decision made, he prepared for sleep.

He changed into lighter robes and lay back upon his bed, allowing the quiet of the night to envelop him.

His breathing gradually slowed, his mind drifting away from calculations and divinations.

In his dreams, everything felt simple and effortless.

There was laughter, warmth, and the comforting certainty that destiny bent naturally in his favor.

When morning ca, sunlight filtered gently into his room.

Lin Feng opened his eyes feeling refreshed, a faint smile already tugging at his lips.

His mood was unusually bright.

The future remained promising.

More won would inevitably step into his orbit and of that he was confident.

His charm, his power, and his presence alone made such outcos almost unavoidable.

He simply had not expected fate to move quite so swiftly.

"Hmmm..."

His gaze shifted toward the entrance of his courtyard, and his brows lifted ever so slightly.

Two graceful figures stood just beyond the entrance of his courtyard.

They wore flowing red sect robes that caught the early light, the fabric shimring faintly with embroidered patterns that hinted at status and refinent.

Their posture was poised, their presence confident yet regal.

From this distance alone, it was clear they were not ordinary people.

Lin Feng slowly rose to his feet, straightening his robes as a subtle sense of anticipation stirred within him.

They were neither his students nor his fellow instructors. That distinction mattered.

It ant there were no professional boundaries to complicate matters, no direct hierarchies to tread carefully around.

A quiet satisfaction blood in his chest, though he masked it behind his usual composed expression.

Opportunity had arrived sooner than expected. Fate, it seed, enjoyed testing him.

"Zhiyan," he called calmly. "Kindly greet our guests outside. I will join you in a few minutes."

Li Zhiyan heard him clearly and moved without hesitation, her steps light as she headed toward the courtyard entrance.

Lin Feng took his ti.

He adjusted his sleeves, ensured his hair was properly arranged, and allowed his aura to settle into sothing refined yet approachable.

There was no need to rush.

First impressions were important, and he preferred to et new arrivals at his best.

As he walked toward the door, his thoughts flickered briefly back to the earlier dilemma with Ery.

He almost chuckled at the timing.

One complication had yet to be resolved, and already two new possibilities had appeared at his doorstep.

"Fate truly has a sense of humor," he murmured under his breath before stepping forward to et the morning’s unexpected guests.

***

Li Zhiyan had already been awake long before sunrise, diligently training in the quiet stillness of dawn.

Since it was impractical to refine pills within this courtyard, she could only focus on strengthening her cultivation during her spare ti.

A thin layer of sweat glistened on her forehead as she completed another cycle of breathing techniques.

She raised a hand and wiped the moisture from her brow, her chest rising and falling steadily.

When Lin Feng’s voice echoed from within the residence, she heard him clearly.

"Zhiyan, kindly greet our guests outside. I will join you in a few minutes."

Without hesitation, she straightened.

She adjusted her robes with practiced ease, then ran her fingers lightly through her long red hair.

Spiritual energy flowed subtly through her fingertips, and in an instant, her hair returned to its usual smooth and elegant arrangent.

Composed and presentable once more, she made her way toward the courtyard entrance.

As she stepped outside, her gaze imdiately fell upon two won standing quietly beyond the entrance.

Her heart skipped a beat.

How long had they been standing there?

She had not sensed them at all.

A flicker of alarm rose within her.

She had not even needed to extend her spiritual sense to realize the truth.

The aura surrounding the two won was calm, restrained, and yet unfathomably deep.

Their presence alone carried a pressure that far surpassed her own cultivation.

Li Zhiyan’s eyes drifted to the insignia embroidered on their crimson robes. Recognition dawned quickly.

"These won... could they be from the Nine Peaks Sword Sect?" she wondered inwardly.

She recalled the massive flying boat that had hovered above the city the previous night.

Its arrival had caused quite a stir.
