"What is going on here?" Ye Jian muttered as she heard the terrifying sounds coming from inside Lin Feng’s room.

From where she stood in the quiet corridor, the noises were impossible to ignore.

The walls trembled faintly from ti to ti, and strange thuds echoed from within as though a fierce battle was unfolding behind the closed door.

Mixed within those sounds were the breathless cries of won... soft at first, then rising and falling in long trembling waves that sounded almost like soone gasping with their last breath.

The combination of sounds sent a strange shiver down Ye Jian’s spine.

It felt as if a battlefield had sohow been hidden inside the room, yet the cries she heard were not those of warriors.

They were soft, delicate, and strangely intoxicating.

The sounds stirred sothing in her senses that she could not quite describe.

Her heart beat a little faster, and an odd warmth spread through her body.

The more she listened, the more confused she beca.

"T-this..." Ye Jian frowned slightly, pressing a hand against the door as she leaned closer.

Tried as she might, she could only imagine one possible explanation for what was happening inside.

"Is Young Master Lin Feng having his way with a hundred won in there?" she murmured under her breath.

The thought made her cheeks warm slightly, though she quickly shook her head as if to chase the idea away.

Still, the strange mixture of noises made it difficult for her to think of any other explanation.

Unable to endure her curiosity any longer, Ye Jian reached for the handle and tried to open the door.

It did not move.

She frowned and pushed harder.

The door remained completely still, as if it had been fused to the fra.

"Hm?"

Ye Jian’s brows furrowed.

She applied more strength, her cultivation subtly circulating through her arm as she pushed again.

Even so, the result did not change in the slightest. The door would not budge at all.

"That’s strange..." she muttered softly.

Most ordinary doors would have already burst open under the strength of a cultivator like her.

Yet this one felt as firm and immovable as a mountain.

The sounds inside continued unabated, making her curiosity grow even stronger.

"I guess a little force won’t matter," Ye Jian murmured.

A faint pink brilliance began to glow around her hand.

The gentle light spread across her fingers and palm, gradually covering her entire hand in a soft radiance.

Spiritual energy gathered there, sharp and condensed.

The air around her hand humd faintly.

With a calm motion, Ye Jian lifted her glowing hand and slashed toward the door as if her palm were a blade.

Her technique was normally capable of slicing through stone or steel without resistance.

Yet the mont her strike landed...

Nothing happened.

There was no crack, no splintering wood, not even the slightest scratch.

The pink light dissipated slowly as her hand stopped midair.

Ye Jian stared at the door in disbelief.

Her eyes widened slightly, and for a mont she simply stood there in stunned silence.

"What..."

She stepped closer and touched the surface of the door again, as if trying to confirm what she had just seen.

It felt completely ordinary beneath her fingers.

Yet her attack had done absolutely nothing.

"What kind of material is this door made of?" Ye Jian whispered in shock.

For the first ti since arriving, the curiosity in her eyes was mixed with genuine astonishnt.

She paused for a dozen breaths before trying again.

The hallway had fallen completely silent except for the faint, strange sounds still drifting from inside the room.

Ye Jian stood there with her arms folded, staring at the door as if it had personally offended her.

"I don’t believe I can’t get my way into a simple room," Ye Jian muttered under her breath.

Her stubborn nature was already beginning to surface.

She stepped back a few paces and carefully examined the door again.

Her eyes moved across every inch of its surface, looking for even the smallest weakness.

The material looked perfectly ordinary at first glance, yet her earlier strike had not left the slightest mark.

That alone was enough to ignite her competitive spirit.

"If the door won’t open..." she murmured softly, "...then the walls should be easier."

With that thought in mind, Ye Jian shifted to the side and raised her hand again.

Pink spiritual energy gathered around her palm, forming a soft yet terrifying glow.

She struck the wall.

A dull impact echoed through the corridor.

Nothing happened.

Ye Jian narrowed her eyes slightly and struck again, this ti with more force.

The spiritual energy around her hand brightened as she circulated more power through her ridians.

Still nothing.

The wall remained perfectly intact.

Her brows slowly knitted together.

"Interesting..."

Now genuinely intrigued, Ye Jian began walking around the room’s exterior, testing one section after another.

Her glowing palm struck the wall repeatedly as she moved along the corridor, carefully examining every corner, every edge, and every joint.

Each strike was powerful enough to shatter stone.

Yet the results never changed.

The door remained untouched.

The walls showed no cracks.

Even the floor beneath her feet looked exactly the sa as before.

A spark of frustration began to appear in Ye Jian’s beautiful eyes.

"Hmph."

With a soft snort, she waved her hand and a slender sword appeared within her grasp.

The blade shimred faintly under the corridor’s light, its sharp edge gleaming with a cold brilliance.

If her palm techniques were not enough, then she would simply use sothing sharper.

Ye Jian raised the sword and swung.

A bright arc of spiritual energy cut through the air as her blade descended toward the wall.

"Clang!"

The sound that followed was crisp and heavy.

Ye Jian blinked.

There was still no mark.

She frowned and imdiately launched several more attacks in quick succession.

Her sword danced through the air like a streak of lightning, each strike carrying a burst of condensed spiritual power.
