"Wait... wait! Please stop!"

But Mo Xuan was far too happy to notice the panic in the man’s voice.

The old man closed the distance in a single step.

"Don’t be shy! Let us celebrate together!" Mo Xuan laughed.

The cultivator’s heart skipped a beat.

"Don’t co any closer!"

Unfortunately, his warning ca a mont too late.

Mo Xuan’s arms had already wrapped tightly around him.

The cultivator struggled violently as if he had fallen into the grasp of a terrifying beast.

"Senior Mo Xuan! Please release !"

In desperation, the man drew his sword and slashed toward the old man in hopes of forcing him to retreat.

Clang!

Mo Xuan simply raised two fingers and casually flicked the blade aside.

The sharp sword was deflected instantly as if it had struck an immovable mountain.

The weapon spun through the air and landed several ters away.

The cultivator froze.

He had not expected the difference in strength to be so overwhelming.

The next mont, he was fully trapped inside the joyful embrace of Old Man Mo Xuan.

"Ahhh, this is wonderful!" Mo Xuan said happily. "Sharing good news with others truly makes the mont even better!"

However, the cultivator’s expression quickly turned strange.

His body stiffened.

A few seconds later, his face turned pale.

"Senior Mo Xuan..." he said slowly, his voice trembling.

"Yes?" Mo Xuan replied casually.

"There is... sothing leaking down my legs."

Mo Xuan blinked.

"That is not a fart... farts do not turn into liquids!"

The cultivator’s nose suddenly twitched.

A horrifying sll rose into the air like an invisible demon attacking his senses.

"What... what is that sll?!"

His eyes widened in absolute terror.

"Ohhhhh! Sobody help!"

Unfortunately, none of the surrounding cultivators dared to move.

So of them had already witnessed what happened earlier.

The sll that followed Mo Xuan’s breakthrough was sothing no ordinary person could endure.

Even standing several ters away made their eyes water.

Now this poor man was trapped directly in the source.

His resistance lasted only a few seconds.

Soon his eyes rolled back, his body went limp, and he collapsed like a puppet whose strings had been cut.

Just like the earlier cultivators, he fainted completely.

Another victim had fallen.

Mo Xuan suddenly noticed that the man he was hugging in a tight bear embrace had gone completely limp in his arms.

The old man blinked in confusion and lifted the unconscious cultivator slightly, examining him from head to toe as if trying to understand what had just happened.

"Hmm?"

The man’s head tilted back unnaturally.

His eyes had rolled upward until only the whites could be seen, and a thin line of foam slowly ford at the corner of his mouth.

Mo Xuan stared for a mont before letting out a disappointed sigh.

"Juniors these days..." he muttered while shaking his head slowly. "They are far too brittle and weak. Their hearts are also far too faint."

In Mo Xuan’s mind, the explanation was simple.

The young man must have been overwheld by excitent after hearing about his extended lifespan.

Perhaps the junior had admired him too much.

Yes, that must be it.

The old man nodded to himself, completely convinced by his own reasoning.

With a casual motion, he released the man.

Thud!

The poor cultivator dropped straight onto the stone floor like a sack of rice.

His body twitched slightly upon impact, while the foam on his mouth thickened, giving him an even more tragic appearance.

Mo Xuan glanced down at him and sighed once more.

"The new generation of cultivators truly cannot compare to the past," he said while stroking his beard.

He clasped his hands behind his back and began pacing slowly while continuing to grumble.

"Back in my day, cultivators were tough. A simple hug like that would not even make them blink. But these youngsters today faint from the smallest excitent."

He shook his head again, clearly dissatisfied.

"Weak bodies. Weak minds. Weak hearts. No wonder the cultivation world is declining."

As he spoke, he completely ignored the nurous cultivators lying unconscious on the ground nearby.

To Mo Xuan, they were rely examples of how fragile the younger generation had beco.

After muttering for a while, Mo Xuan slowly lifted his head again.

His gaze wandered across the trading hall.

Then his eyes suddenly brightened.

That was right.

He had only hugged one person so far.

That would not do.

Today was a day worth celebrating.

A day when he had snatched himself back from the jaws of death and gained five hundred more years of life.

Such an occasion could not be treated lightly.

Mo Xuan stroked his beard thoughtfully.

"I should follow tradition," he murmured to himself.

He had always believed in auspicious numbers, and in cultivation culture the number nine represented longevity and eternal fortune.

"One hug is not enough," Mo Xuan said while nodding firmly. "Nine hugs will symbolize long life."

He raised a finger and began counting.

"One is done..."

"Eight more to go."

One could say many things about Old Man Mo Xuan.

He could be eccentric. He could be stubborn. So even called him shaless.

But one thing nobody could ever accuse him of was being tired of living.

On the contrary, Mo Xuan loved life more than anything.

Now that he had gained five hundred more years of lifespan, his heart was burning with renewed passion.

There were still countless things he wanted to do.

Rare treasures to collect.

New cultivation realms to reach.

Exquisite wine to drink.

And of course, many beauties in the world worth appreciating.

How could he possibly be satisfied yet?

With these joyful thoughts in mind, Mo Xuan slowly raised his head and looked toward the surrounding cultivators again.

However, the mont his gaze swept across the crowd, the atmosphere instantly changed.

Every cultivator who t his eyes felt their scalp go numb.

It felt as though a terrifying hungry monster had suddenly locked onto them.

Even those standing far away could sll the horrifying stench lingering around Mo Xuan’s body.
