And of course, Lin Feng was not wrong in his assumptions.

His finger calculations remained at their peak, precise and unmatched.

Tang Aining joined him on his way to lunch, which ant he now had three won at his side, alongside Ning Xi and Li Zhiyan.

The lively group moved with ease through the bustling streets, their conversation light.

Today, they were about to try a new restaurant, one that none of them had visited before, its modest sign hanging above the entrance promising good food but little else.

Just as they approached, a servant appeared seemingly out of nowhere, holding a letter and kneeling imdiately before Lin Feng.

The letter felt unusually cold, its presence heavy in his hand even before he read it.

"Young Master Lin Feng, my young Miss Ye Jian has invited you to a feast in honor of her na and her fiancee. Please co at your earliest convenience," the ssenger said, his voice tinged with nervous respect.

Lin Feng took the letter and opened it with a slow, deliberate motion.

One glance at its elegant handwriting and the carefully worded invitation was enough.

He knew imdiately that this was not truly from Ye Jian.

Soone else was pulling the strings, hiding behind her na and reputation to try their hand at scheming.

A faint smirk appeared on Lin Feng’s face, almost imperceptible but enough to betray his amusent.

Clearly, these schers were tired of living. And Lin Feng?

He was more than happy to send them where they truly belonged, into the fat capable hands of soone he had co to know by chance.

Lin Feng folded the letter with casual precision and slipped it into his robes.

He glanced at Ning Xi, Tang Aining, and Li Zhiyan, their expressions filled with curiosity over what they had just heard.

"Thank you. I know Teacher Ye Jian quite well, so it would be my pleasure to join her on this auspicious occasion in her life. Lead the way," Lin Feng said calmly.

Not even a dozen breaths later, several carriages ca racing down the road, coming to a sharp stop before them.

The display was loud, fast, and clearly prepared well in advance.

It seems soone is eager to have their face slapped, Lin Feng mused inwardly.

He shook his head slightly before glancing at the won beside him.

"Co. Soone has offered us free food. We might as well accept the invitation and save so money while we’re at it," Lin Feng said casually as he stepped forward and boarded the carriage first.

The won followed soon after.

Ning Xi hurried the most, quickly climbing in and securing a seat right next to Lin Feng.

Even though Ye Jian was not present, she seed to have learned well from past examples.

Without hesitation, she leaned closer, her soft figure pressing gently against his arm as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

The carriage began to move, rolling steadily toward the Ye Clan.

Inside, Ning Xi subtly adjusted herself, her movents slow and deliberate as she remained close to Lin Feng, testing his reaction.

Yet Lin Feng showed none.

He simply closed his eyes, his breathing even as he entered a state of calm ditation, completely unmoved, like an unshakable mountain.

Only then did Ning Xi realize that what she was doing was far from enough.

A flicker of determination appeared in her eyes as she leaned back slightly, deep in thought.

I need to learn what truly makes a man lose control, she noted silently, already planning to figure it out as soon as possible.

Several minutes later, the carriage ca to a smooth stop, and the group disembarked together.

The mont their feet touched the ground, they were greeted by a lively scene.

The entire area was decorated in bright red, banners and lanterns swaying gently as festive music filled the air.

It was already the second day of the feast, yet not only had the celebration not slowed, it had grown even more vibrant and energetic.

Guests moved about in high spirits, laughter and conversation blending seamlessly with the rhythm of the music.

"Please follow , Young Master Lin Feng," the servant who had delivered the letter said respectfully before turning to lead the way.

Lin Feng and his group followed at an unhurried pace, passing through the decorated courtyards and into the main hall.

Inside, the atmosphere shifted slightly.

Most of the Ye Clan’s elders were gathered there, along with their most important guests.

The air was thicker, filled with status, pride, and unspoken tension beneath the surface of celebration.

"ntor Lin Feng is here!"

"Why is ntor Lin Feng here?"

"Your guess is as good as mine."

The mont he stepped inside, murmurs spread like ripples through the hall.

Many were visibly surprised.

So frowned, others exchanged knowing glances, while a few simply watched in silence.

It was clear that his presence was unexpected.

This was ant to be a private feast, reserved for those within certain circles.

Standing at the center of it all, Lin Feng remained calm and composed, his expression indifferent as if he did not notice the countless eyes fixed upon him.

A chaotic hum of whispers filled the hall, growing louder by the second until, all at once, it fell into sudden silence.

A couple had just entered.

The man’s gaze locked onto Lin Feng imdiately, sharp and unyielding.

Lin Feng returned the look without hesitation, his expression calm, yet carrying an unmistakable weight behind it.

The air between them seed to tighten, as if an invisible clash had already begun.

It was at that mont that the elders of the Ye Clan realized sothing was terribly wrong.

They recognized that look.

They had seen it before, long ago, when they themselves were young and full of fire.

It was not the look of strangers eting for the first ti, nor of polite acquaintances.

It was the look of rivals and of n on the verge of conflict.

"This is not good. Call the patriarch imdiately," one of the elders transmitted through his spiritual sense, his tone urgent despite his outward composure.
