Li Zhiyan rushed forward from the inner hall. Her younger sister.

Though only a year younger, Li Zhiyan’s appearance was almost a carbon copy of her older sister, Li ngyao.

The resemblance between the two was so striking that, at a glance, they could easily be mistaken for twins.

If their mother, Li Yuhua, were present as well, the three of them would look like triplets standing together.

"Big sister!"

She crashed into Li ngyao’s arms. For a mont, neither of them spoke. Only the sound of quiet sobbing filled the courtyard.

Li ngyao froze slightly, then slowly raised her hand and gently patted her sister’s back. Her expression remained steady, but her eyes had already turned sharp.

Sothing had happened. Sothing serious.

After a long ti, Li Zhiyan finally cald down enough to step back. She wiped her tears hastily, but they kept flowing anyway.

Li ngyao looked at her quietly.

"Tell everything," she said. Her voice was calm. But it carried an undeniable authority that ca from years of cultivation and sect training.

Li Zhiyan hesitated. Her fingers clenched tightly at her sleeves. Then she spoke.

"Big sister... Mother isn’t here."

"I know," Li ngyao replied imdiately. "That’s why I asked."

Li Zhiyan shook her head violently.

"No... I an... she left."

Li ngyao frowned slightly.

"Left where?" A long silence followed. Li Zhiyan’s face turned even redder. Then, in a voice barely above a whisper, she said...

"...She left with soone." The words landed heavily in the air.

Li ngyao blinked once. Then twice. For a mont, she thought she misheard.

"...With soone?" she repeated slowly.

Li Zhiyan nodded, tears threatening to spill again.

"Yes..."

Li ngyao’s expression remained unchanged, but the faint pressure around her began to fluctuate slightly.

"...Who?"

Li Zhiyan hesitated again. Then, as if finally giving up, she blurted it out...

"A man."

Li ngyao stared at her. Then spoke again, slower this ti.

"What kind of man? Who is he?"

Li Zhiyan lowered her head.

"I don’t know how to tell you this, sister... but Mother left with Lin Feng."

Li Zhiyan finally revealed it, her voice trembling slightly.

"...Lin Feng?"

Li ngyao’s brows imdiately furrowed.

"That Lin Feng? The dicine King? The one who defeated a Divine Tribulation Realm expert?"

"Yes."

The confirmation ca without hesitation. For a brief mont, the two sisters fell silent.

The courtyard, already tense, seed to grow even heavier. Minutes passed. Then more. Neither of them spoke. Each lost in their own thoughts.

Li ngyao slowly exhaled.

"I want to see Mother." Her voice was calm, but firm. Unshakable. Li Zhiyan imdiately stepped forward.

"I don’t think that’s wise, sister." Her expression turned anxious.

"Master Lin Feng is... different from any man you know." Her tone was not exaggerated.

It was serious. Almost fearful.

She continued quickly, as if trying to convince her sister before it was too late.

"Even so, I still need to see him." Li ngyao said. Her tone did not change. Still calm. Still composed. But absolute.

Li Zhiyan’s heart sank slightly.

"...Sister." She tried one last ti. But Li ngyao had already turned away slightly, her crimson hair swaying behind her.

"I just want to see what kind of man can make my mother leave the clan." Her gaze sharpened faintly.

"And what kind of person can make even you hesitate like this."

Li Zhiyan’s lips parted, but no words ca out. Because she knew... No matter what she said now... It was already too late.

***

In the end, Li ngyao managed to persuade her younger sister to bring her to Lin Feng. Night had already fallen by the ti they arrived at the Spirit Spring Academy.

The courtyard where Lin Feng resided was unusually quiet, illuminated only by faint moonlight and the soft glow of spiritual lamps. The surroundings outside were a completely different scene altogether.

Around Spirit Spring Academy’s outer grounds, countless temporary camps and tents had already been set up, forming an almost chaotic settlent.

Cultivators from all directions had gathered here, refusing to leave, all for a single purpose...

Lin Feng.

So were ditating outside his courtyard in hopes of catching a glimpse of him. Others were openly camping, treating the area like a sacred pilgrimage site.

A few even began discussing the idea of establishing a formal sect... or even founding a religion in his na. For them, Lin Feng was no longer just a powerful cultivator.

He had beco sothing closer to a legend. A symbol.

An existence worthy of worship. That was how deep the reverence had grown in such a short ti.

Li Zhiyan hesitated at the entrance for a mont, but ultimately stepped aside.

"...He’s inside," she said quietly. Li ngyao nodded once. Then she stepped forward. The mont she entered the courtyard and saw him...

It felt as though the entire world had stopped moving. The sounds of the night vanished. The wind stilled.

Even her thoughts seed to slow down for a brief instant, as if reality itself had paused to acknowledge his presence.

Lin Feng stood under the faint moonlight, hands behind his back, as calm as ever.

There was nothing exaggerated about him, nothing deliberately attention-grabbing yet sohow, everything about him felt impossibly complete, as if he naturally belonged at the center of all things.

Li ngyao’s pupils contracted slightly. Her breathing froze for a mont without her realizing it.

"...How can a man like him exist in this world?" The words slipped out before she could stop them. Her mind, usually sharp and composed, went blank for a brief second.

Not from pressure. Not from intimidation. But from sheer, overwhelming shock. She had seen countless prodigies. She had t geniuses from powerful sects.

Yet none of them compared to this. None of them made her feel like reality itself had subtly shifted just by their presence.

Behind her, Li Zhiyan sighed softly, already knowing this reaction would happen. Because she had seen it before. And now... It was happening again.

Lin Feng’s charm was really irresistible!
