The Second Trial finally begins. After all the prey were weighed, the couple went to the warehouse according to their rankings and took whatever ingredients they needed for cooking. Each couple has three types when it cos to cooking. Either one of the couples is able to cook, both couples are able to cook and neither of the couple can't cook. The last pair is quite hard to handle and they can only cook their prey over fire with salt and honey.
The second trial feels like a food variety show in which the participants are judged by the food they cooked. Thankfully the criteria for it don't seem strict as long as the food is edible they would be able to pass.
This is the ti for the future mates to show that they can feed their warriors. Most female beastn would do their best to cook the best als and favorites of their partner. In this trial, the female beastn or their other halves would try their best to please their partners. As long as they get a hold of their future husband's stomach they should be able to get their attention and love. Of course, there are so couples in which even the warriors do the cooking. These n were collectively known as henpecked n.
Henpecked husband ranked 2 in the Trial, Mayonaka Yoru. He is now cooking a Dinosaur steak for his lover. Even prepared a few appetizers and side dishes before the man. Serve a glass of red wine to fit the al he made with the at of the Triceratops.
Mayonaka Yoru ate dinner with his Luna and even asked for his comnt for that night's al, "Este-chan, how is it? I cooked it to your liking. dium Rare Dinosaur Steak."
The scholar looking at a young man gracefully wipes the corner of his lips and lifts his plate. "Another plate, please." Esther Dawn said.
Upon hearing this response, Mayonaka Yoru couldn't stop grinning as he served another plate for his Luna. Not far from them Keylan Light and Great Elder Tuya were enjoying such delicious steak. They couldn't even open their mouths and raise a number sign of 10. In most food contests this is a perfect score.
Keylan Light said, "This is quite delicious."
"You are such a great cook, Sonny!" Great Elder Tuya said after swallowing whatever is in their mouths during the tasting. The pair was kind enough to cook a plate for each of them.
Henpecked husband ranked 3. The man was kicked out of the kitchen by his future wife after destroying the chopping board and wasting vegetables she asked to be cut. He can only join the other warriors who were in the sa situation as them. Looking at their partner from a distance with puppy eyes.
Asher Light stares at his girlfriend, "Amy~ I promise I will not destroy the kitchen anymore."
"No. Stay there. Don't bother when I'm cooking!" Amber Dawn said.

A few while later Amber Dawn asked, "What do you want to eat? I will make it for you but don't enter the kitchen. What will you do if you cut your fingers? Or if you burn yourself, just stay away for a while." Obviously, worrying about him being hurt as he moves carelessly in the kitchen. But she still asks what the latter wants to eat, obviously willing to cook for him.
A bright smile appeared on Asher Light's face making him look like a real holy son. "Amy~ I know you love ! I want so braised dinosaur with eggs, BBQ, and then so Egg tomato soup as well as a large serving of white rice!"
After a few hours, the requested dishes were all served on a small table. Eating besides Asher Light were Keylan Light and Great Elder Tuya. They weren't like Asher Light who looks like he is wolfing down his food. But it is clear on their faces that the al was satisfying and delicious.
Keylan Light said, "You will be a good wife in the future."
"You have a bright future ahead of you. You two have passed the Second Trial." Great Elder Tuya announced.
Amber Dawn and Asher Light were the second ones to pass. They wanted to check on the last couple, Conri Lycaon and Carnelian Dawn but when they saw how busy the pair were, they couldn't help but think 'Just how many dishes do these two plan on making?'. But like other dishes, the cuisine this pair is cooking is varied... There's a burger, macaroni, shawarma, crepe, pancakes, and more. It was as if they wanted to cook all kinds of dishes that are possible to make with all their ingredients.
In the end, Keylan Light and Tuya decided to check on them last and look at the other pair. There are many decent pairs among the participants but there are also so who barely made it. When they tried to eat an almost charcoal-flavored roasted chicken, they almost failed the pair that cooked it.
"I'm sorry. I'm still learning. The fire was too strong so it got burned but the inside should still be edible."
The partner of the female beastn ate the roasted chicken with a smile, "Miaomiao, you've improved! You've worked hard."
"I... I will definitely make so food that doesn't burn next ti. I promise. I will practice more."
Seeing the sweet interaction between the couple The two judges looked at one another and exchanged a nod. They can see that the warrior thinks the food is edible even though it was half burned. At least the chicken itself was cooked well, except for its burned skin.
"You two passed well. Good job, child!" The Great Elder Tuya said with a smile.
The nervous female beastman was so delighted that he hugged his fiance. Because of the age gap between the two of them, his partner would always dote on him but the female beastman wanted to do sothing for his partner and thus he started cooking. But his practice was too short and the Trial for Mateship had suddenly begun. After his partner asked him whether he wanted to try doing the trial with him, he was hesitant at first but seeing his lover's pampering gaze he decided to try it.
His cooking was already at a normal stage but because he is a bit nervous and conscious of the trial that his roasted chicken burned a bit. He wanted to cry but didn't want to make it hard for his protector so when he heard from the Great Elder Tuya and Lord Keylan Light then they passed not only the first and second stages. He was extrely glad that they made it.
After checking the rest of the couple, they finally ended up checking on the last couple, Conri Lycaon and Carnelian Dawn. Thankfully, they finished cooking and made a few huge pots of various soups, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts. Keylan Light and Great Elder Tuya were dumbfounded at the sight of so much food.
Keylan Light asked, "Didn't you make too much!?"
"Not much. I still don't think it's enough but we wanted to give our thanks for saving us this morning and made a lot for everyone to share. I hope the brothers, uncles, sisters, aunts, grandpas, and grandmas as well as the children like our cooking. Thank you once again for saving us!" Carnelian Dawn said.
Conri Lycaon said, "Please don't be shy and get what you want to eat. Let's eat dinner together."
The warriors in the audience cheered. It was indeed quite hard to watch others cooking and eating without having the sa thing they've been drooling at the sight of food from the open field and were delighted to hear that they also got so food from the participants. Seeing this, the rest of the participants also made more and shared with everyone. At the end of the Second Trial, a huge dinner feast with everyone in the city had been enjoyed for the whole night.
It didn't take awhile for soone to start partying, even bringing out wines, beers, and liquors which made the evening more boisterous and joyous. Everyone enjoyed the dinner at the end of the day resulting in so drunkards laying on the ground asleep and their partners having to be dragged back ho. It was such a funny sight to see countless warriors being dragged back ho by their mates like a sack of potatoes being dragged on the ground.
During the evening party, it was announced that the final stage of the trial would begin tomorrow and the passing participants were asked to gather outside the Illusion Forest in which the final stage of the Trial would take place. After receiving the instructions, venue, and ti, they all continue to enjoy the party.

Shen Siwang was busy in the kitchen making so stew as his wifey had requested. He also made all the other favorite foods of his beloved and ate at the forr house where Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie live as Xuebao and izhou. After all, the two wardens, weren't that close with their Lord's brother and Lord Hei's family. There are subordinates of the two but this is the first ti they were tasked to serve the two. Since there was no relationship between them It was quite awkward to speak a word or respond to the couple. Sovereign the Tyrant God was a lot scarier than Lord Hei.
At least Lord Hei would smile at them even though mischievously but Sovereign Lord Mo Baojun rarely smiles. Even in front of Sovereign Ruler Shen Siwang, the expression on his face doesn't change at all. Of course, the reactions of the two wardens didn't escape the eyes of the two, and felt that this pair was a bit too nervous.
