Even though there was a lot of sentintality going on during the night, most of them had a good night's sleep that evening. Ye Jieye goes to the kitchen in the morning to begin preparing food for everyone, only to find that Mo Xuejing had unexpectedly arrived earlier than expected after preparing so ingredients that needed to be prepared in advance.
Ye Jieye is a god; there is no way he did not see Mo Xuejing and Mo Yuhan that night. He just voiced those words out for them to hear, and he expected Mo Xuejing to back off after hearing them, but he did not expect him to stay regardless of what he had learned.
Unfortunately, he is not willing to love another person unless it is his wife; his heart only moves for one person, and even if he sees Mo Xuejing as an illusion of his Jing'er, he can never truly love him.
Upon seeing Mo Xuejing waiting in the kitchen with a smile, he reacted the sa as usual. Friendly yet distant. He can treat him as a relative, but nothing more.
Mo Xuejing smiled and said, "Good morning, A'Ye. I help with the preparation of the ingredients, but I only know the basics, so I hope you won't be angry."
"It's alright. You did well. Thank you. Leave the cooking to . I will leave Xiao Jing and Xiao Xia to you," Ye Jieye said as he took over the work in the kitchen.
Ye Jieye watches Mo Xuejing leave the kitchen with an expressionless face; he noticed Mo Yuhan sneaking around the kitchen and is obviously there for him. On the other hand, Mo Xuejing happily went to the second floor to check on the children and bathe them with warm water.
After doing this for a few days, he had gotten used to this routine, as he himself likes to take a bath in the morning and before going to sleep.
Ye Jieye said, "Your brother is no longer around. Co out if you have business with ."
Mo Yuhan entered the kitchen with swollen eyes from crying his eyes out last night. He is now fearlessly glaring at Ye Jieye.
"Can I talk to you about my elder cousin?"
"Is it sothing he can't hear?" Ye Jieye asked and saw Mo Yuhan nod his head.
Mo Yuhan was shocked to see such a mystical scene when the God of Void snapped his fingers, creating a barrier that could isolate sounds. He moves his eyes from the barrier to the attractive man leaning at the kitchen counter, looking as though he is in so kind of modeling shoot. He looks so elegant yet dangerous, like an alluring demon capable of killing anyone with a simple flick of his finger.
Ye Jieye lit a cigarette and said, "You can talk freely."
"This...!? Who the hell are you?" Mo Yuhan asked in disbelief. A barrier that appeared with just a snap of a finger—sothing so magical—this was the first ti Mo Yuhan witnessed such a scene.
Ye Jieye blew a white smoke from his cigarette and said, "Kid, I don't have all day to waste my ti with you. Talk about what you intended to say. If not then get out of my kitchen, I need to cook."
He treats Mo Yuhan coldly; even though he only ant to keep an eye on Mo Xuejing last night, Ye Jieye had unintentionally overheard their conversation, so he knows that this kid is hiding sothing big that involves both Mo Xuejing and possibly himself.
Ye Jieye's cold gaze, as if he were looking down on him, reminded Mo Yuhan of a ti in the past when he caused that tragedy that caused enormous changes in the lives of two people. Ye Jieye's cold glint made Mo Yuhan shiver; it was the sa deadly glare that accompanied him in his nightmare that night.
"I... I... I want to tell you. If you want to learn the truth, go to the Mo Clan with after this. Only if you go with will you understand everything that you need to know." Mo Yuhan's words are indirect, leaving too many questions for anyone who hears them.
Ye Jieye narrowed his eyes at his words, said nothing, and looked at Mo Yuhan, who shook under his intense stare, searching for so sign that this young man was lying, but Ye Jieye decided to listen to what he had to say despite his horrified expression and the depths of his eyes seeming to be real.
"I will go with you. Only when my business here is done. Is there sothing else?" Ye Jieye asked.
Mo Yuhan hesitantly said, "Can you not tell Brother Xuejing? I don't want him to hate ."
"You're afraid of A'Mo hating you, but you're not afraid of ? Or do you believe that your clan is capable of protecting you?" Ye Jieye emits an aura that makes Mo Yuhan unable to breathe properly.
Mo Yuhan beca pale and was filled with fear as he faced Ye Jieye's indifferent gaze; this man's gaze was not that of a living person but rather of a corpse, which made him regret going near him. Just as he believed Ye Jieye was going to kill him, he felt a force push him away, and Ye Jieye pushed Mo Yuhan out of the kitchen.
Ye Jieye said coldly, "Your clan can explain everything when I visit your territory. Don't bother now, scram!"
Ye Jieye slamd the kitchen door; Mo Yuhan, on the other hand, felt as though he had just escaped death and fell on his butt just outside the kitchen. Ye Jieye's reaction caught him off guard because he had seed quite amiable yesterday when he found out that he was Mo Xuejing's cousin.
Lu Shang and Leica witnessed the entire incident and were heading down when they saw Mo Yuhan entering the kitchen where the God of Void was.
Lu Shang said, "Brat, I didn't expect you to be so courageous. Don't you know that the Lord doesn't even treat his own paternal grandfather as a family because he couldn't recall his past?"
"You shouldn't have taunted him and just told him everything you know. Now, your clan might get destroyed when Lord Ye cos there to visit. Even your Heavenly Guardian might not be able to help you protect your clan," Leica said.
Mo Yuhan looked at Lu Shang and Leica with a bewildered face and fear mixed in.
He asked, "W-What do you an?"
"The Lord is only kind to those he deems family: his children, Senior Mu, your cousin, and us. Except for the ones ntioned, the rest are all strangers in his eyes," Lu Shang said.
Leica added, "Do you not know how Satan treats strangers? Especially those that anger him?"
How could Mo Yuhan be unaware that he was the first to encounter Satan on that occasion when his cousin took him on his first hunt? Satan lives up to his na, bearing no regard for human life or death; he even threw people off cliffs when they offended him. This is no re show of being the King of Hell; he truly does not care about the lives of others.
When he enraged him earlier, the only reason he was not killed was because Mo Xuejing identified him as his cousin. It was only for Mo Xuejing's benefit that this evil man refrained from killing him. However, if he keeps enraged, forget about his cousin, whose status in his heart is unknown; he would undoubtedly be killed on the spot if he completely infuriated him.
Acknowledging this, he flees the villa with the intention of filing a report to the clan.
Leica asked, "Is it alright to leave the boy alone?"
"It's fine. No matter what he says anyway, the Mo Clan had to welco the Lord's arrival sooner or later. After all, he still needs to find Lord Hei's incarnation." Lu Shang said.
Leica looked a bit confused, "Isn't it Mo Xuejing? Though there seems to be a dissonance between the body and the soul, I think Mo Xuejing is Lord Hei's incarnation. Though I don't know what happened for his vessel to be different from his soul."
"But having a vessel different from the soul is only a way to hide traces of the soul. Are you saying sothing is intentionally trying to hide Lord Hei's Soul? Is it Chaos from before?" Lu Shang said.
Leica said, "Even the vessel prepared by Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang wasn't used, maybe he did sothing to the Lord's incarnation as well."
"We should tell this to Milord," Lu Shang said as he was about to knock on the kitchen door but was stopped by his lover. "What's wrong?"
"Not now. We can report later in the middle of the night," Leica noticed the strange dark aura coming from the kitchen.
Clearly, an indication that the God of Void is not in the best of moods; if he had allowed his lover to knock at this precise mont, he would undoubtedly have to bear all the anger the Lord God is attempting to contain. Although Lu Shang is blind to the situation, he chooses to believe in his partner and allows him to yank him back to their room.

Having just slapped an obnoxious brat aside, Ye Jieye felt lightheaded. This was no ordinary sickness, but sothing that directly affected his soul; he leaned on the table and cupped his forehead, and a few mories that he was unable to recall flashed through his mory.
Ugh!
"What the hell... is this...?!" Ye Jieye had to sit on the ground to ditate.
When he opened his eyes within his soul, he was suddenly pulled into an unknown ti and space; it was like a broken tiline that no longer moved in constant motion instead of a lost ti that stopped at a certain period. He could not understand why he was suddenly experiencing this dizziness, but he knew that his soul was the source of his pain.
Ye Jieye turned to face the familiar darkness he was in, realizing that this was his domain from birth, the void, but he could not seem to get this section of the void to listen to him at all, so he scowled.
"It's the void, but a part of an unknown void that isn't included in my domain. What is the aning of this?" Ye Jieye mumbles.
A black snowflake imprint he shared with his wife, Hei Anjing, appears beneath his right eye as he is about to lose control of his emotions. He was alert and focused as he looked around at the darkness surrounding him. He had not known how to escape this darkness since he woke up in it.
The God of Void felt the warmth on his face as his wife's voice drifted into his consciousness, reminding him that one of the benefits of the Trial of Marriage was that they could now converse with each other anywhere in the world at any ti.
{My love, you mustn't succumb to your anger. The Void had always been under your control. Feel it and restore your connection with it.}
"Jing'er? Baby, is it you? Aren't you sleeping?" The God of Void asked.
{I've felt a strong fluctuation in your emotions. I felt worried, so I went to check. The Void you are in is out of the current domain of ti and space. It's an abandoned tiline. I don't know exactly where that is, but... I think the Origin and the End might be known.
Be careful, my love. I feel sothing is trying to catch you off-guard.}
"I will be careful. Baby, go back to sleep. Don't force yourself and rest properly. I will be okay," Ye Xiajie whispered with a gentle smile on his face.
{My love, I'm going to sleep now. Take care. I love you the most!}
"I love you the most too, Jing'er."
Using the domain of the void and the power to devour simultaneously, the darkness around him seems to be getting smaller. Once the entire darkness was eaten by him, his surroundings changed as well; instead of pure darkness, there were galaxies with shades of color surrounding him. The soul imprint on his face faded, and Ye Xiajie's smile vanished as well. He looked around, looking serious.
Ye Xiajie was surprised to see a guy covered in tattered black robes that covered his entire body, including his face, and whose presence gave the God of Void a sense of himself, even though Ye Xiajie could not feel the man's presence as if it were natural to him.
The God of Void asked, "Who are you?"
The man in the black robe didn't respond to his question, instead saying, "You are too lucky. That's unfair."
The man materialized in front of the God of Void before he could even respond, and he was astounded by what he saw concealed under that hood. Before he could take any action, the man vanishes from view, and after a brief mont of darkness, he awoke once again in Ye Jieye's vessel.
Gasped!
When Ye Jieye opened his eyes, he was drenched in cold perspiration. He was deeply confused and shocked by what he saw, and he could not believe the last-minute man who had shown up.
"Why...? Why did that man have the sa face as mine?"
