Inside the Ocean Palace...

Ye Jingxia and Ye Anxia hurried off and concealed their presence while they hid, knowing that their uncles would make every effort to find them both. They did this in order to play a ga of hide and seek with their uncles.

The two cubs decided to explore the largest and most opulent room in the palace, which had a dimd interior with lots of small night pearls scattered throughout. The floor was covered in a thick, plush carpet, and there were so corals in one corner of the room that served as humidifiers.

The furniture that was familiar from the surface was also made in this room, but the materials were entirely different—the glossy rock or glass in place of wood—and the furnishings were arranged in a similar way. The two cubs really enjoyed this room's decor, which made the room feel like a planetarium.

Ye Anxia, who was holding her brother's hand, said it cheerfully. "Gege, this place is beautiful! Can Xiaxia's room beco like this?"

"It's not impossible, but which room are you talking about?" asked Ye Jingxia.

He wanted to know if the room his sister was referring to was the one in the treehouse in this world or the one in Vearth, since the latter was a thousand tis larger than the forr. As the two cubs kept exploring, they ca across the enormous white clam shell in the center of the room, which was adorned with a rainbow-colored array of pearls and diamonds, making it even more opulent than the room itself.

Ye Anxia exclaims. "What a huge clam! Gege, is this thing delicious? Let's ask Papa to cook it."

"But this thing is already dead, but there is sothing alive inside, not originally part of the shell. I don't think it's delicious. Xiaxia, if you're hungry, brother, have snacks with ," Ye Jingxia said as he touched his bracelet, which is a space inventory.

Just as he was taking out the food, he realized that they were subrged in water. Ye Jingxia used his water elents to turn them into water, and his father had taught him how to modify the characteristics of his ice. He then used a snap of his finger to enclose himself and his younger sister in a large bubble and to remove the liquid from their clothes.

Finally, Ye Jingxia took out a square lunch box, which had three layers, and he opened three of them, returning the others to his inventory bracelet.

When they opened their lunchboxes, they found themselves in front of a variety of snacks and foods: a box containing sandwiches with cheese, bacon, eggs and more. A second box containing fruits and soups, and a final box containing tiny cakes, chocolates, and desserts.

Ye Anxia's eyes lit up at such a sight, and she forgot all about the enormous shell that she had previously desired to eat. Since she beca an adult, she has been able to eat regular als with her brother and family and has stopped eating liquid or soft foods.

"Gege, can Xiaxia eat now?"

"Not yet. Wash your hands first. Didn't Daddy say to always wash hands first before eating?" Ye Jingxia said.

Ye Xiaxia uses her power over ice to wash her hands; like her brother, she is able to change the qualities of ice into liquid form. Ye Jingxia did not let his younger sister eat until he saw that she had cleaned her hands appropriately; instead, they decided to relax and have so afternoon snacks.

In order to help their divinity be replenished even in their mortal bodies, their father, Ye Jieye, made sure to include god-grade ingredients in their lunch box. This way, in the event of danger, they will be able to use a small portion of their original strength as gods even in mortal bodies.

The two cubs were happily eating when they noticed the enormous clam next to him that was slightly opened, revealing a pair of eyes that were peering at them through the slit.

After fainting, Heavenly Guardian Fei was taken to his room to rest. The realization that the source of his trauma had made its way to his territory shocked him so much that he fainted in instinctive fear. All it would take for him to wake up from his unconscious state would be the sounds of children talking and knocking on his door.

He realized that soone had to enter his ho and that his servants and subordinates must be absent because they wanted him to get a good night's sleep.

The sll of food was calling to him from outside his shell, so he opened his shell clam bed to investigate the source of this enticing aroma. To his surprise, he discovered two cubs inside a large bubble, with three lunchboxes in the center of the bubble, each emitting a delicious sll that made him hungry.

Observing the two human cubs occupied with their al, he extended his arm and picked up the closest egg sandwich to him; but, as he was about to remove it, a tiny, plump hand clutched his wrist.

Ye Jingxia was raised well by his father, so anyti he and his sister are not with their parents, he makes sure to keep his guard up at all tis. He was aware of the slight movent of the shell behind them, but he pretended not to see it, curious to find out what the person inside was trying to accomplish.

He was already apologizing to the person inside, who was probably the owner of the room where they were trespassing, so he allowed the person to look at them from his shell without doing anything, but he scowled when the person tried to take their food.

"Wash your hands first before eating! Do you want to eat the germs in your hands!?" Ye Jingxia scolded.

Heavenly Guardian Fei was taken by surprise and fell out of his clamshell bed. Ye Jingxia, though still young, already possesses strength greater than that of adults. A light grab from him is no different than a fork being chained into sothing. One can hardly escape. He is not a clean freak like his father, but he still detests people eating with dirty hands, especially food shared in groups.

Heavenly Guardian Fei panicked. "Ah! Boy, let go. You're going to break Laozi's bones!"

Ye Jingxia did not care. He pulled Heavenly Guardian Fei completely into their bubbles, dried his clothes, took the sandwich, cleaned his hands, and put it back in the man's hand, not releasing his grip on his own wrist, which he had miraculously healed in the nick of ti.

After he did as he pleased and finished his al, Ye Jingxia disregarded him. In the anti, Ye Anxia grinned at Heavenly Guardian Fei, noticing that half of his body was a fish with exquisitely colorful scales.

The little princess looks interested in the man's tail. "Uncle Fish, are you really a fish?"

When he first heard about this, he declared that in the future, Ye Jingxia planned to exact revenge on the rmaid when he saw him again, but now that he was witnessing this stupid, almost innocent-looking half-fish, a foodie doubted that story.

Heavenly Guardian Feu then climbed back to his own bed, and the owner of the room is once again lying sideways on top of his opened clamshell bed.

Initially, Heavenly Guardian Fei and little princess Anxia were lying on the fluffy carpet.

Heavenly Guardian Fei spoke, "So, you ca into my palace with your parents. You got separated and decided to play hide and seek with your babysitters, then got lost in my room. So, is your family here to hunt? Do you want my permission? Wait, I should have my scales here."

The two cubs wait for the half-fish to rummage under the fluffy mattress inside the shell as if digging sothing in.

"Found it. This is for you guys!"

Heavenly Guardian Fei hurled a handful of vibrant scales at the two cubs, and they instantly found themselves engulfed in a flurry of rainbow-hued scales, resembling drops of water.

"This is like my jade token. With it you guys should be able to go anywhere in this ocean. But be careful of two things. There is a huge grumpy kraken at the ocean floor. That thing is old and can speak human, but he is an. Stay away from it or it will take all your things.

Heavenly Guardian Fei controlled for the water to return inside the room. His clam shell bed is about to close again. "Uncle is sleepy after eating. You guys should go out and find your people. See you again next ti~" Only then did the clam shell completely close and the lights in the room once again turn dim.

Ye Anxia waved her hand and said to Heavenly Guardian Fei. "Good night, Uncle Fish."

"Let's go, Xiaxia." Ye Jingxia held his sister's hand and left the room, allowing the man to peacefully sleep inside his shell.
