Underground Sanctuary, Deep Haven...
After learning that the south region is safer than here in the north, the humans living in Deep Haven had all decided to leave. At first, the elders declined to leave this place as they couldn't bear to once again beco the burden of their children and families. But after learning that Captain Leng Jun had a way to keep them warm during the journey, they all decided to leave together.
They would at least try their best to not slow down everyone.
The package for each family and individual is minimal. Mostly food and so basic necessities. The base also distributed thick animal wool winter jackets, thick pants, and boots for the journey. A sled was also created for carrying the elderly, children, or many others who might get injured on the way. Everything was basically done efficiently and fast.
Humanity's unity had been once again tested in this perilous situation. While everyone was about to head out, the whole hideout started to crumble, as if it had been hit by sothing large and powerful. Those who were inside the underground facility were terrified by such a scene. The tall ceiling above their heads had bent down, caving in. They were quite lucky that a hole wasn't made. But with the Ice Elental Wolf King above their heads, there is no way they would be calm.
Old Surge command: "Everyone, Run! et in the location we had decided."
Those young n who were strong enough had carried away the elderly n and won. The ladies carried any children they could see in their line of sight and escaped before the hole was made above their heads.
Leng Jun wanted to leave with his father but was told to leave. "Xiao Jun, you go as well!"

Old Surge pats his son's head and bumps their foreheads. "Xiao Jun, you are now the new leader of the base. Also, I forgot to tell you before. Welco ho... and goodbye!"

{Hoh~ So this is where the ants are hiding! The underground indeed fits you, damn parasites!} The Ice Elental Wolf King said.
A hole was made above their heads, and before the Ice Elental Wolf King could peer within, the old sentinels had summoned their quantum beasts and jumped on the Elental King, making him dodge away from the base. Leng Jun struggles, but his subordinates have forcibly carried him and pulled him away. "Let go! I told you to fucking let go. Jeremy! You guys!"

Jeremy had pulled away Leng Jun, who wanted to stop his foster father, but his confidants and subordinates didn't dare let him go as they escaped using the ti bought by the elders with their lives on line. Leng Jun can only watch his foster father and other uncles fight against two huge beings. They were like ants fighting an elephant, but despite that, they showed no fear as they fought against the Ice Elental Wolf King and the Beast King, Leonhart Reiner.
There are so old soldiers who, upon seeing the approaching groups of ice elentals and beastn, choose to self-implode and drag them to death. Even if the ice elentals didn't die under the explosion, at least the beastn did. This also slowed down the chase of the ice elentals, as they needed ti to heal themselves before being able to move.
The migrating humans only saw thick clouds of smoke and heard so explosions. Even though they didn't know what was happening behind them, they chose not to turn around and waste more ti. They run towards the south to survive. This is the only way.
Leng Jun had finally cald down when they'd reached the distance from the location of the Deep Haven. Jeremy and the others had no choice but to let him go, as his skin had once again turned hot enough to burn their hands. Thankfully, they imdiately let go and only got a light burn.
In his despair, Leng Jun kneeled on the cold and snowy ground, which instantly lted the mont he lost control of his emotions.

Chuchu warned Jeremy and the other humans. {Stay away from him! He is about to awaken as an Elental King!}
Jeremy and the others were shocked by such a delightful event. Even so, they couldn't feel happy about this news because of what happened in their forr ho and to their seniors. Jeremy noticed that the more intense Leng Jun's emotions are, the hotter his fire gets.
"Do you Fire Elentals need a strong emotion to evolve?" asked Jeremy.
The Fire Elental Viper King said, {Yes. Fire involves all emotions in existence. The stronger the emotion, the hotter the fire can get. Rage is the strongest catalyst for our evolution. I also evolved as an Elental King when I saw my parents sacrifice themselves to save . This is sothing a fire elental is inevitable to undergo to evolve.}
{All elents need to undergo such a point to evolve. The reason why there are fewer Elental kings than low-tier elentals is also because of this. Those who failed to achieve evolution will die.}
Jeremy asked, "So for the captain to evolve into an Elental Emperor and ascend to godhood, he will need to experience this for the second ti?"

It was a continuous cycle of never-ending war, blood, and battles.
Only when the Federation Star lost most of their soldiers in the last war did the Federation gain a short peace. But who would have expected this to be just a peace before the huge storm? The Frozen Apocalypse had descended on their world. In that disaster, more than half of the human race died, and they were replaced as the masters of the Federation Star.
Ice Elentals were born one by one until Elental Kings and Elental Emperors were born. It was at this ti that the human race completely lost their place on the planet they were born into and could only live underground.
The human race is adaptable. Regardless of the limited population, they happily adapted to living underground. The Sentinel and Guides were replaced by Elentalists, allowing them to gain a foothold in this world. Though these beastn didn't attack humans and targeted the Ice Elentals instead, the human race, which had been living underground, was dug out and is once again forced to escape under the sacrifices of their fathers, uncles, aunts, and senior soldiers. The human race had once again escaped from death and survived.
Within the subconsciousness of Leng Jun, he had re-watched his life like a movie, waiting for soone to arrive. As expected, his father, Old Surge, appeared. Like how Chuchu's soul appeared in this place after his death, his foster father had also arrived.
"Son, what is this place?" asked Old Surge.
Leng Jun stares at his foster father with bloodshot eyes. Upon eting him here, he knew that he had perished in reality.
"Father, this is the place I told you about before. You..." Leng Jun couldn't tell his father that he was dead.
But he didn't say more for Old Surge to understand. "Tsk! To think I was only able to cut off an arm of that black lion's and stab the heart of the Ice Elental Wolf King before death!" Old Surge said.
Though Leng Jun didn't know what would happen to an Elental King after it lost its heart, the Beast King was at least crippled. As expected of his father, he is so proud of him.
Old Surge said, "So why did you appear here again? Don't tell you died too! You foolish son!"
"I might not be dead. I also appeared here when I awakened as a hybrid elental," said Leng Jun. "It's great to see my father here."

"Haha~ it sounds harder to achieve in this kind of world, though. Even so, I shall do my best, Father," Leng Jun said with a smile as he faded in the space he was in.
After Leng Jun disappeared, all emotions on Old Surge's face faded. A monotonous voice, which only the Autonomous heavens possess, resounds in the black room. It seems that the Heavenly Laws of the Federation Star isn't dead, but rearranging the plot of the world with the new chosen protagonist.
