With Jeremy's question asking whether sothing is wrong with the prey they brought back, everyone finally realized that sothing strange and dangerous is going on. They all keep quiet and wait for Chuchu to speak. They believe in this Fire Elental Viper King's words, as his words had the sa strength as those of their new leader, Leng Jun. They knew he wouldn't harm them.
Like they trusted Leng Jun, who is no longer human, they also trusted his elental as he is.
Chuchu responded to Jeremy's question, {There is a weird and chaotic aura coming from that Polar Bear. Those rabbits are still okay, still untainted. I rember the rumors from our world. There is this kind of energy that exists that can nourish the world, allowing it to upgrade. But...
this energy cannot be directly consud by the living, or else they would go mad, go on a war craze, and beco bloodthirsty. There is a definite feature that can distinguish it from others. A shade of gray eyes. This Polar Bear is emitting that kind of aura now, a shade of gray.}
"The eyes, is it?" mumbled Jeremy as he unhesitatingly dug the bear's eyes and checked their color.
Those who were affected by Chaos energy, their eyes will permanently change, from it's original shade to the hue of gray. The eye in Jeremy's had light gray eyes, and the one holding it frowned as expected.
Jeremy murmured, "It's gray."
Instantly believing the words of Chuchu, Jeremy and the other's started checking the eyes of the rabbits and deer they brought with them. They are lucky that these herbivores aren't affected by the chaotic energy. After all, without them, they wouldn't be able to eat tonight.
A hunter said, "These rabbits and deer are still okay. It's a bit of a waste for the polar bear. We truly can't eat it?"
As expected, these people are a bit hesitant to waste the bear, which is filled with at that could make the whole group full. Unexpectedly, Jeremy summoned his elental. It's a fire-elental ferret. It wasn't as powerful as Chuchu, but it's already a high-ranking elent that is about to evolve into a high-ranking fire elent. Jeremy called this ferret a guang, which ans light.

Once the golden fla disappeared, there was only a small pile of white ashes that rged with the snow below. Everyone looks sad at such a scene.
But they didn't know that this decisive action by Jeremy would save them tonight.
Jeremy said, "The bear is gone. Why don't you start cleaning the rabbits and deer? I will catch more wild pheasants for you." He didn't wait for soone to talk, but a few followed him out.
Chuchu, on the other hand, was stunned by the fire Jeremy's elental had used. After all, holy flas are sothing only the descendants of God can use. It seems that the Elental that signed contract with Jeremy is not simple. It had God's bloodline and was much more powerful than him, who only had a demigod bloodline.

anwhile, at the nearby forest area...
Jeremy found an area where the wild pheasant sleeps at night. He first observed at the distance after catching as much as he could with his small group of friends. They caught a dozen and gathered at least a hundred eggs. They are on their way back, but Jeremy insisted on checking the eyes of these chickens one by one.
Only when he is sure that none of these wild pheasants are unaffected by that weird energy does Chuchu ntion that they return to the camp.
"Jeremy, is that weird energy Chuchu is saying real?"
"Why do you believe his words? That Polar Bear is enough to feed our group for at least a week."
"After a week, do you think everyone is still sane after eating that bear? Think rationally and not be biased. Even though Chuchu is an elental, he is our comrade as he is the captain's elental. He wouldn't harm us," Jeremy responded.
"We only want to say that if the wild beasts cannot be eaten, we will all starve before reaching the south region."
"We can only bear with what we find. Once the captain is awake, we will be able to travel faster," said Jeremy.
All of a sudden, he saw a pair of glowing, tainted silvers in the thick snow not far from them. Jeremy's body shuddered as he felt extre danger coming from those pair of light gray eyes. He imdiately pushed his friends out of danger when he saw a shadowy figure jumping on them.
Jeremy shouted, "Be careful!"
Roar~
The hunter spread in all directions while Jeremy threw a ball of fire towards the shadow. Only when the fire illuminated the area did everyone see a snow leopard with grey eyes. The hunters didn't expect this kind of predator to still be awake at night. Normally, the snow leopard would hide in its cave to rest once the sun had set. They love to hunt at dawn when the sun hasn't fully risen yet.
This Snow leopard is different. Covered with white fur and spotted black pattern, the fiercest predator in winter season stood before them. What terrified them were its grey eyes and its mouth tainted with fresh blood. Obviously, it was happily feasting on sothing just now until it noticed them.
"Why is there a snow leopard in the flat region? Its territory should be in the ice mountains."
"Look at its eyes. They're gray!"
"Should we run?"
The Fire Elental Ferret spoke after observing the leopard before them.
{This snow leopard is influenced by chaos energy. Those who are affected by it will never let it's target go. You can't run. You need to kill it. I will help you!}
A storm of flas fall from the sky, illuminating the whole area and even limiting the area where the snow leopard can move. The Elentalists in the area all summoned their elentals to back up Jeremy, confronting the snow leopard with his elental.
Jeremy said, "We can only kill it. If not, it would chase us to the camp until all of us are dead!"
"Why is this thing acting like those beastn that chased after us before!"
"Unafraid of death. Chasing even with its limbs broken. This is like those mad beastn."
"Is this really the effect of that weird energy, the elental 'Chaos energy'?"
Jeremy said, "Don't waste any more ti. Dismber it! Only then it wouldn't be able to move anymore."
It took awhile for them to defeat the snow leopard; they spent more energy than expected. They looked so haggard as they sat on the ground. Jeremy asked his elental to burn the remains of the snow leopard to prevent the spread of chaos energy in the world.
Jeremy said, "You've seen how this leopard acts. If the chaos energy's effect is like this, what do you think would have happened to us after we ate that polar bear?"
"Kill each other... until only a few are left."
"What the hell is this energy?! So sinister! Those damn beasts brought it here to our planet!"
"Let's go back. We should leave as soon as possible. This place is no longer safe. These wild animals might have eaten the remains of those beastn who died when the fight took place and got affected by this energy. If so many wild animals would end like this, those carnivores would prey on each other, so it's no wonder the energy spread faster with them.
Those animals who ate plants to survive won't get affected for now."
The group returned to the camp and inford everyone of what happened in the forest. They were all terrified and wanted to leave this place as soon as possible, but they couldn't and only waited for Leng Jun to wake up. After eating enough that night, everyone went to sleep except for those on night duties.

In the West Territories...
At the borders of Ice Mountain, the King of Beasts had finally reached the entrance to the ice mountains; unfortunately, at the feet of the mountain, a thick fog blocks their path. Leonhart sent so inside but they all ca out wounded and instantly fainted once they are outside the foggy path.
The King of Beasts knew that their path is being hindered intentionally but an Elental King. But based on what he is sensing, this Elental King is indeed weaker than the Ice Elental Wolf King he fought. He imdiately lost interest in fighting against this elental king, but his kin all tried to enter the path to ascending to the path towards the ice mountains.
They all ended up wounded yet their crazed state made them want to climb up once more ti.
At the beginning, Leonhart Reiner still helped in restraining his kin. In the end, they couldn't be stop at all. Only when he saw that none of them returned dead, he no longer hold them back and watch the scene. Slowly, his feeling fades as the light in his eyes lightens and becos purer.
This lasted for three days until the Elental King that rules the ice mountain finally could no longer watch the scene at his own gates.
{King of Beasts! How long are you going to stay in my territory!}
Upon hearing the enraged voice of the Ice Elental Ninetailed Fox in his mind. The Beast King wasn't surprised. It was obvious that this elental kings possessed different kinds of ability. This kind of ability, which is like telepathy, isn't surprising.
The King of Beast, Leonhart, said, "You are finally willing to speak to . Ice Elental Ninetailed Fox, I have a few questions. I wonder if you are willing to give the answers. I will take my leave and no longer bother after I get what I want."
{Sigh~ ask away. I can only answer three questions.}
"I wanted to ask if there is a way to remove the chaos energy in mine and my kin's body," asked Leonhart.
{There is no way for mortals to remove it and even the Elental Emperor is incapable of doing it. You have to find a more powerful god. Only the Upper Realm might be able to know how to remove it.}
"Upper Realm. The one in the Myth? The world of gods! That place truly exist!?"

At this mont, Leonhart recalled the corpses of his fallen kin that he left behind before heading to this region and was enlightened by the Ice ELental Ninetail Fox's words.

As soon as the voice faded, the sound of sothing shaking was heard, and the whole land was rumbling. An intentional avalanche fell on these beastn, and they were washed down of the west region. The next mont the King of Beasts opened his eyes, he was no longer at the foot of the ice mountains.
Looking around his kin, all died under that avalanche, the attachnt in his mind had disappeared completely.
