After seeing off the victim to the afterlife, the God of Void was about to walk away when he saw a black feather lingering and hidden under the shadows of the docks. After picking it up, he noticed that it was indeed a fallen angel's feather. A fallen angel is considered a devil in a sense, and thus he wasn't surprised that it can commit such an act and covet the wings of Lucifer.
The God of Void flaps his wings, and it fades as if it never existed. The original black wings, horns, and tail were also given back to Lucifer's new body. The pair of wings showed that the poor victim was just sothing he made using his ability to control light elents.
Though he can't control this elent too well and he just uses it for healing, shaping it into a pair of wings was not hard for him.
Zhi Yue, who just ca back to his side, said, [Master, there is another case of serial killing within the city. This ti it is connected to Xiu Mo and Xue Lian directly. It's one of their assistants, the victim this ti. Does the master go?]
"Let's go," said the God of Void.

anwhile, at the cri scene.
At the house of one of the assistants of actor Xiu Mo and manager Xue Lian, the police force led by Police Captain Lou Ye and his team were investigating and protecting the scene. This ti, the death of the victim can be said to be cleaner than the last one.
The last victim was cut into pieces, and if not for his head not lacking enough flesh, the police would have a hard ti finding out who he was. Thus, the killer, after cutting off the head, was thrown in so corner together with limbs that weren't useful to create square blocks of flesh.
The current victim was skinned this ti. She was skinned perfectly without extra scratches on the skin except for the slice to his neck down. It was so clean that once the skin was once again placed back on the body, the police imdiately realized who it was.
Captain Lou Ye and his team who were investigating the scene were shocked. After all, they were still talking to this lady and the other assistant this morning. Who would have thought that after the sun had set she would beco nothing but a corpse?
A police officer approached the police captain and said, "Captain, the surveillance cara recording had been found, but as expected, there were no traces of soone entering the room."
"Not even drops of blood were found in the scene, and not even a trace was left behind."
"But a strand of Manager Xue Lian's hair was once again found at the scene."
"It is impossible to be him though; the vice captain had personally sent the two of them to that famous bar at the center of the city."
"Captain, the vice captain said he had sent actor Xiu Mo and manager Xue Lian to bar Purgatory after splitting up with you, and he is back to the station already. Should I ask him to co?"
"No need. Tell him to tail those two possible suspects, or maybe they might beco the next target of the serial killer," said Captain Lou Ye.

"I will inform the vice captain," said the police officer.
Captain Lou Ye said, "Also call Doctor Black."
A few hours later, the mad doctor arrived at the cri scene, ignoring everyone in the area. He approached Captain Lou Ye with an excited face.
Doctor Hei Yu exclaims, "Where is my corpse!?"
"Doctor, it's not your corpse. You can't bring it ho. The last victim is the sa, so don't sneak out a square of flesh out of the morgue," said Captain Lou.
Doctor Black pouted and complained, "You're being stingy lately, captain! Are you possessed?"
"If I'm possessed, throwing you in jail will be my first move," retorted Captain Lou Ye.
Doctor Black shrugs his shoulders under the threat of the captain and says, "Okay, you are real." Then he runs towards the skinned corpse and checks on it like he has found a new toy.
Police Captain Lou Ye was checking around for the source of miasma in the crowd. As a Demon God under the Evil God, Ye Xiajie being able to sense miasma was sothing he can normally do. After all, the Nether Prison was completely surrounded by it.
He looked around and found a black feather. It was larger than what a black rooster can possess, making it not sothing an animal can possess.
"A fallen angel?" mumbles the police captain.
It didn't take long for the police captain to realize that it was a fallen angel's feather, and the owner must be quite powerful to have this kind of feather. He hid the feather as he didn't want the other to notice its existence right away. He pretends to continue looking around when suddenly he notices his lord appearing within the crowd.
The God of Void blended with the crowd as he watched the cri scene from a distance. Noticing that his chief warden was about to approach him, he shook his head and gestured in a certain direction, noticing a commotion from his subordinate not far from him.
"Excuse , sir! You can't cross the yellow line!"
"This is a cri scene. Civilians are forbidden from approaching!"
"Wait! Don't they look familiar?"
Xiu Mo spoke, "Open a path. The one who was killed is my assistant, and you can't let see what happened to him!?"
"Move away! Don't make say it twice," said Manager Xue Lian.
The mont his eyes landed on the police officers, they couldn't help but take a step back. It's by instinct that they felt that the man in front of them was soone they couldn't defeat.
Captain Lou Ye, who arrived at the scene, said, "Let them in. These two are needed to be protected as they might be the next target of the serial killer."
"C-Captain, sorry I'm late. I was looking for a parking spot after sending these two here," the vice captain said as he looked so tired after being led around by Xiu Mo and Xue Lian almost the whole ti.
Captain Lou Ye narrowed his eyes at his vice captain, and the silence also made the area a bit uncomfortable only when they heard a soft yet helpless sigh that they heard the police captain speak.
"You take a rest. Since I am here, these two should be okay?" said Captain Lou Ye to his vice captain and looked at Xiu Mo and Xue Lian, then said, "You can go anywhere on the cri scene; just don't touch anything. If you have a question, you can ask the other police officers. Also, another strand of your hair was found at the scene. It seems that the serial killer wanted to make you his scapegoat no matter what."
An assistant of Doctor Black approached the police captain and said, "Captain, the result of the tests had been made. Doctor Black wanted you to co over."
"Let's go," said Captain Lou Ye.
Manager Xue Lian, who grabbed his arm, said, "I want to listen."
"I will go as well," said actor Xiu Mo.
The police captain pulled away his arms from Manager Xue Lian's hold and said before walking away, "Do as you wish."
Manager Xue Lian looked at his hand that lost the arm of Captain Lou Ye as if he were at a loss. Xiu Mo also understood his reaction, as he felt that this police officer might be the God of Void but the kind that didn't recognize them. The power of darkness and glutton in him cannot be ignored, though.
Actor Xiu Mo frowned and whispered, "This police captain possessed that bastard's powers, but it doesn't seem to be him at the sa ti. To check who he truly is, we need to force him to fight back."
"Let's not do it for now. The serial murderer is picking on for a reason. I do not think that sothing behind this situation was not an outsider like us. To specifically target , it ans he knows who I am," Manager Xue Lian whispered back.
Actor Xiu Mo nodded his head in agreent and said, "If that's the case then there are possible people who do so. The most likely one was soone like you, a soul fragnt with ego. The one from that last world which my main soul had gone to. According to the information I've gathered, it seems that this soul fragnt was forcibly rging with the other soul fragnt to get stronger. You might have beco his target."
"I see. To have his kind of idea, he might have wanted to surpass the main soul. However, such a thing might be futile, or else I would have done the sa thing in the beginning," said Manager Xue Lian.
Actor Xiu Mo asked, "What do you an?"
"The God of Destruction doesn't care about his soul fragnts. This fact is real. However, if one crosses the line, he... is willing to kill even his own soul fragnt. Why do you think I never cross him and only target the God of Void? I wanted you to rember, he is the craziest among us!" Lord Chaos said, leaving Tun Shizhe speechless for a mont.
